Overall, an 8 out of 10. We attended for "Mother's Day" brunch and our table was perfect. If we didn't have a window view-table I think the experience would have been much different - in a negative/confined way (I made reservations weeks in advance). Our food was a bit salty and myself and my dad got sick after our visit...makes me wonder if someone in the kitchen was sick or if we caught a "bug" from a fellow customer. I would like to visit again on a warmer/sunny day and when we can sit outside.

The staff at Metropolitan was very friendly and flexible. We had no trouble making a reservation for 5 for Mother’s Day weekend and shifting it the morning-of when we were running late. Bottomless mimosas and bloodys are reasonably priced and the food is delicious. Can’t wait to return!

Everything was great except for the cleaning fluid smell that permeated the air. It usually doesn’t smell like that though! We are definitely regular customers.

The food was good, took a while to come out, but was good nonetheless. The service, however, was horrible. My friend got a bloody mary that tasted like someone poured a bucket of salt in it but the waitress wasn't around enough for us to say anything. Even though the food was good, wouldn't rush back for girls brunch.

Overall a good experience, the chef's selection for the charcuterie & cheese board was the biggest hit. It would've been nice to know the selection of cheeses and meats selected. Our server was relatively new and could only tell us what the cheese of the week was. The metropolitan salad with chicken was huge and filling. The lamb burger was equally delicious. The porky omelette and the northside benedict were the least favorite dishes. Will definitely go back, if nothing more than for drinks, the charcuterie & cheese board and to experience the rooftop.

Wheelchair accessible women's room is not accessible. Wheelchair user cannot use without leaving stall door open and we suggest reversing the door hinge so closes the other way.

I love this restaurant. The staff and management are always pleasant and professional. From the hostess station to the servers and the managers such wonderful service is refresinging. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. The food is always consistent and excellently prepared.

We had a blast surprising our friend with a group brunch on Sunday! We had 10 guests total and all fit comfortably at our table. The server was above and beyond accommodating with all of my requests. The food was great! We all had different breakfast / lunch meals and they were all delish. Highly recommend for a fun group meal or a date!

I like Metropolitan Kitchen and Lounge. I took my daughters out to dinner. Parking is easy; there is a garage right behind the restaurant. We were originally going to be placed in the bar area in high top tables, which I would have been fine with, but we ended up being placed in a corner in the back, which I did not like. The waiter sometimes seemed to forget about us. Usually, it is a fantastic experience; this time it was ok.

Overall great experience dining at Metropolitan Kitchen & Lounge. My boyfriend & I shared a flatbread and cheese plate to start. Both were delicious! We especially enjoyed the “cheese of the moment”. For the main course, I had the Rockfish Imperial and he had the Short Rib. Again, both delicious. The staff was very attentive which is always appreciated.

It was valentine's day (and our anniversary) and the night started off really rough with timing on the drinks and food, but the owner made up for it and managed to turn it around and make it a great experience. We had a lovely time and the food was fantastic. Especially the brussels sprouts.

The food is always delicious. Especially like the braised short ribs and pumpkin polenta. Very nice wine selection. Attentive and helpful service. Can’t wait for warmer weather and a chance to dine on the rooftop deck!

Great for brunch. There were so many food and drink options. They also have all you can drink mimosas and bloodies for $13. I started with the creme brûlée grapefruit and it was amazing. I was pretty messy with it but it gave me that sweet and tart I needed. I also ordered the BEC sandwich with a side of hollandaise sauce. The Texas toast on that sandwich was such a win. My husband got the chicken and biscuits with the sausage gravy. Our friends got the coconut milk pancakes and the short rib hash. I was the only one that needed a box because I could only eat half the sandwich. I think we found our new brunch spot. Our server Chris was patient with my indecisiveness and always willing to answer my many questions. He rocks

Excellent food and service. I had short rib flatbread, two others had scallops and our fourth had chipotle fried chicken. This is one of our favorite places, choices of small or medium plates and full size entrees as well.

I love Metro - this is one of my favorite places in Annapolis and I come here often for Happy Hour (Thursday goes until midnight) and also love it for celebrations and just general dinner.

Loved everything about this place. Our food was delicious and we really enjoyed the bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys. The ambiance was just what we were looking for and the vibe was very fun and full of good energy. We would go back and highly recommend!

Had a great time at Metropolitan! I originally had a reservation for eight people, but I called to see if we could fit one more person in. They did it with no problem and were super friendly and accommodating! The service was great. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. It was a perfect spot for NYE dinner!

I had their special “Verde” burger and it was probably the best burger I’ve ever had! It came with bacon, cheese, and a delicious jalapeño and cilantro aioli that topped it off perfectly. I had my wife take a bite and she completely agreed. I had our waiter pay complements to the chef for a job well done. Definitely coming back.

Planned an early dinner on New Years Eve for a friend visiting Annapolis from out of state. Was hopeful that a 5p dinner reservation on a popular night would allow for a relaxed dining experience. Having enjoyed positive dining experiences at Metropolitan Kitchen numerous times, I was certain this restaurant choice was a no-brainer. Unfortunately this dining experience wasn’t a positive one. Chalking up as an off-night, a Monday night after a weekend. The drinks were tasty, and our 2nd choice menu selections were flavorful. The noise from someone moving equipment or furniture on the second floor was loud, an obnoxious intrusion in the dining room. Again, an off-night with early evening party preparations. Confirms my belief that dining out on NY’s Eve can be hit or miss. Hopefully our next dining experience with be favorable, cause the menu selections have been outstanding on previous visits.

Food was outstanding. We had the Brussels and Ahi for appetizers —-both were amazing. The Brussels has a sweet sticky coating which was different but good. The Ahi was perfect served in small cubes in a sauce that was absolutely perfect. For dinner we had the lamb chops and a bowl of the Mac and cheese. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly with a savory flavor and potatoes and asparagus. The Mac and cheese has spinach and kale baked in with it and the cheese sauce was amazing. Unlike any other Mac and cheese —very tasty
