   My husband was very satisfied with his entree, filet mignon. I was very disappointed with the shrimp scampi risotto. It arrived with the rice swimming in scampi sauce which was eventually absorbed by the rice. Have eaten many seafood risottos but this didn’t seem right. Couldn’t put my finger on it. The shrimp was done but barely and the risotto seemed not quite done. Maybe they were in a hurry or maybe regular chef was off for Easter Sunday evening? We chose to eat indoors and I found it to very dark in an effort to be chic? Music was very loud and the bartender did turn it down, after I asked if it could be lowered. Staff was accommodating but, overall, this dining experience just didn’t measure up for me.

   Something is off recently. Prices has gone up while portions are smaller and the 4% charge for using a card in addition to paying 5 bucks to park, makes you look at other choices.

   Food was very tasty, had a nice presentation and nice sized portions. Wait staff was attentive. I would definitely return.

   Very nice anniversary lunch. The restaurant was quiet, comfortable and both food and service were excellent. We will be back

   Metropolitan Café is one of our top places to go for dinner or lunch…. Or just drinks. The food is absolutely amazing, the service is so very pleasant and friendly. It’s in the middle of a bustling area of restaurants and activity. It’s just a great place to go.

   Amazing dinner…always great service and yummy dishes. I loved the scampi risotto, and the sushi was awesome. Always on point Metro!

   So Tuesday night when many boro restaurants are closed. Good service as usual. Good specials. Went with Brie app. So good. Had Salomon and streak cooked perfectly. Really like this place. Like it better when outside. Good food, drinks and service. Great job.
