Pan fried chicken is one of my favorites but it was a little dry this time. My wife's salmon was perfect and delicious. Overall still one of my favorite places.

Great restaurant, quiet. Waitress was attentive, food delicious, hot, served nicely. I would recommend to others! They are following COVID precautions, and feels safe to be in the restaurant.

My wife and I have coming here for over 20 years and celebrated Valentine Day. It's been at least 10 since we were back and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely awesome and the layered potatoes were worth getting a takeout order for the next day!

Consistently great service and delicious food...despite the restrictions still a great place to visit..one small question, why they don’t have martini glasses to serve cocktails in ( this was pre Covid though too) I don’t understand?

It felt so great to be back at the restaurant. We hadn’t been to the restaurant since March. We are outside between the heat lamps and had the usual delicious Metropolis food!!!

Food was consistent as always. Service was great -- we were outside under heat lamps, but service was very attentive and spot on.

This restaurant is one of our neighborhood favorites...always consistently good food, friendly, professional staff, and immaculate environment.

Excellent food and the outdoor seating during Covid in the fall is great. They have plenty of warm propane heaters and extra space between tables without feeling isolated. Thanks for an awesome dinner and for making us feel safe!

Foos was fantastic. Mussels app was 100% heaven. Ture feel of a Parisian cafe and the service was terrific. Also a nise selection of wine - not extensive but good choices. My only caution is avaoid the booths. The connected backs rock so if you have a hyper millennial in the next booth (area is full of them) you are in for a bumpy ride

Metropolis was my go-to restaurant during the peak of the COVID-19 outbreak since they had take-out. This was my first dining-in experience at the restaurant this year. The food was wonderful! In fact, so much better than take-out that I was instantly spoiled. My swordfish medallions were terrific, and the entire dining experience was really wonderful. I gave 4 stars only because we couldn't be accommodated at an outside table and I was worried a bit about the rather smallish inside quarters. Anyway, highly recommended.

Peach and cucumber salad had 3 slices of unripe peach and LOTS of cucumbers cut into slices. Risotto had peas which was my bad for ordering because peas are gross. Truffle fries are ridiculously good. They have two rosé wines. Tried both and liked neither. The French wine is too bitter for a rosé and why would the Spanish one be bubbly!? Coffee creme brûlée had a thick brûlée which I didn’t mind. Went well with the coffee custard since sugar was bitter. Chocolate cake was super under done in the middle - maybe that was intentional but not my taste. They had gas lamps outside which made it very cozy on a cold night. Location is nice. Saw lots of cute dogs. Overall food rating: meh
