Metro is the ONLY restaurant I've ever been to where I wanted to try literally every item on the menu. And it never disappoints. The food is terrific and the service is excellent!

Lunch was delicious. We both had the Thai Chicken Salad. It had a lot of flavor for a very light meal. Sit outside....the best !!

We ate outside on the patio which is why I said it was quiet. Inside, it is so noisy that we rarely go there when we can't eat outside. Our experience this Sunday was very good. Excellent service and very good food.

I usually love Metro but that night the food just didn't live up to past experience. My steak was small and tough and overcooked. The fries were over cooked. The fruit crisp was boring and gluey. The other diners also said their sole and croque were just ok. A night off for that kitchen!

Everything was great. Food was excellent, server knew menu, had recommendations and knew her wine for pairing. Unique cocktails - Pink Lavender Metro Martini was really good.

This place is good and fairly moderately priced. I am sorry to report they are no longer serving the miso black cod, which was incredible. I had the chopped salad and tempura prawns, which were good. My friend really liked her petrale sole.

Good menu - so nice to get a glass of wine and not pay the equivalent of $75/bottle! Server was training someone but just as attentive if he had been on his own.

We go here often and are never disappointed. It's the most urban restaurant in Lafayette and the food and service are top notch.

Really great restaurant and a place that we like to frequent whenever possible. Eating outside reminds me of living in Europe and that wonderful sense of sitting and simply enjoying a great meal at one's leisure.

It was a really hot night so going to Metro was perfect. The patio is large and comfortable. Great food and drinks. We started with oysters and cocktails. My husband had the shorteibs which are yummy. I had a green salad and the tuna poke. I was happy I could eat healthy and have such good food. My cappuccino was perfect and my husband loved his very chocolate dessert. Go! It is a wonderful place. Very welcoming staff

We waited a long time for our food. The appetizer was very unappetizing (peach brushetta) as the peach was tastelesss and the toast burned. The only good part of the Thai Chicken Salad was the chicken. The fish tacos ordered by the other two at the table seemed OK but I did not hear any, "Oh this is delicious". This is the third time I've eaten there and the other times were very good. After this latest lunch I would be reluctant to return, The third time was definitely not the charm!

the peach bruchetta is back. So delicious. grilled peaches with carmelized onions and goat cheese and nuts on grilled french bread. it doesn't get any better than that. always friendly, good consistent service and food!!!

As usual, the drinks were wonderful. Tried something new this time and loved it. Attend here monthly and always order the raw tuna starter. No on makes it better!

Poor tables service and poor food preparation (medium rare was medium well-done) spoiled our visit to one of our frequent dinner destinations. We hope this was an off-day and not an indication of a downfall. This visit, however, does deserve a serious ding to the rating.

On this particular Wednesday evening, Metro was hosting an event in the bar, which made it incredibly noisy in the dining area. The weather was changing, and the doors were open, creating a cold draft in the restaurant, which was a bit uncomfortable. That being said, our waiter was friendly and attentive, our small plates meal was excellent, and the cocktails were innovative and delicious. Metro utilizes fresh, in-season fruits and vegetables, and the freshest seafood and meats to create some outstanding dishes. My favorite was the tuna poke. The peach bruschetta with goat cheese is also great.

Nice ambience in this unassuming location out in front of Whole Foods. Nice variety and tastes with small plates - but Halibut was a little heavy on salt. Overall, great experience -

Quiet night at Metro as it was Monday of Memorial Day Weekend. Excellent service and we always feel comfortable here. My husband had the ribs?...outstanding! Great drinks. Don't hesitate to eat here...always good food and good service though it can get very noisy if you eat inside...but eating outside is a treat!

We went for a special occasion, a birthday. We're early diners, had reservations, no waiting, Seated immediately. The menu was a reasonable size, with choices for everyone's taste. They had great presentation in this time of everyone watching cooking shows. The items seemed a bit pricey.

Overall, I like Metro - it is local, the food is usually very good - I recommend the Gnocchi with California Morrels.

But, in the main dining room YOU CAN'T HEAR YOURSELF THINK!, ler alone carry on a conversation with your companion.

Anyway -
