Meso Maya - Preston Forest Ratings and Reviews
Meso Maya is quickly becoming one of our favorite restaurants. The service is great, very courteous and helpful wait staff. I have several dietary restrictions, and the waiter was able to help me identify various options on the menu. The check is always divided or separated without having to request it. The cochinita pibil is my recommendation along with any of their mezcal.
Great ambiance and service. We were here for lunch so everyone had a salad with chicken or salmon and everyone loved their dish. We had a U-shaped booth and those are always hard to get into and this one was no exception. Besides the wait staff, 2 managers stopped by at different times to check on us to ensure everything was as we needed.
The restaurant is large inside and the bar area was inviting. I look forward to coming here again.
Warm, inviting local Mexican restaurant. Everything you want from a neighborhood favorite. Food is different and delicious. Try the Sopa Posole Verde. A bowl with a small salad is a meal.
Yum. Also try a margarita with Casa Amigo tequila. George Clooney created this lovely caramel finish tequila. Ask for Anejo. We’ll see you there.
The Hostess staff took too long to acknowledge my presence. Other than that the service we received was absolutely top notch and passionate! Our waiter loves the restaurant, the food and his patrons. It was truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. We were also treated especially as first time diners. They really couldn’t have done anything further to make our experience more special!
The cocktails are well thought out. The food is delicious. I️ have a feeling that you couldn’t go wrong with any choice from the menu!
Once again we enjoyed a wonderful dining experience with awesome food and drinks, along with wonderful service by Maria (? I think that was her name). We look forward to our weekly dinner with you and appreciate the consistent delicious food and drinks, and friendly service.
We were very disappointed with the preparation of the food. We all ordered a variety of tacos- the tortillas were all very COLD so the meat inside became cold as well. My shrimp tacos did not have cabbage but lettuce and sour cream- I should have sent it back !
Visiting from out of town. Masomaya came highly recommended. Did nit disappoint. Excellent dinner experience. Great cocktails at the bar. Super friendly bartenders. On time reservation. Friendly informative knowledgeable wait staff. Great food.
I went 2 nights in a row!
As always another wonderful dining experience with delicious food and drinks, and exceptional service provided by Christian. We were delightfully surprised when the manager brought us complimentary champagne since it was our anniversary. We love coming every week and thank you !!
Food was good. Service was not good. Could not get waiters attention for more tea and even when he was asked and said he would bring it, had to ask another waitress to bring it. Worst service I've had at this restaurant. Saw other tables trying to flag their wait staff with similar problem. Group of 5 and they sat us in a booth that was almost impossible to get into and out of. The booth was covered in a material that will not allow you to slide on it.
Probably will not go back unless really having a craving for the Aztec Budin.
This was our very first visit we chose to celebrate our anniversary there, I thought it was a little to loud, you couldn't hear the person your having a conversation with. But overall we were greeted by manager with there fresh corn tortillas with guacamole, it was delicious, our server Christian M was great I like that he new the menu well and spices helped in chosing what to eat , the dessert and coffee was the best ever it was so comforting. I will be back soon with friends this time.
Meso Maya provided the perfect half way point for dinner with friends. The food, as always, was delicious. It is so nice to see options besides tacos and enchiladas on the menu. Margaritas were great. The noise level is somewhat of a damper here and makes it difficult to carry on a conversation. Service was slightly off this particular visit, but it would not keep me from going back.
