Food was fantastic service poor !!!! sweet girl but ridiculously slow

Another fantastic establishment in the CRG group of restaurants in Indianapolis. Nice atmosphere and great food and service. Nothing terribly fancy but very solid seafood and steak choices

My husband and I had a rare date night downtown. I asked in my reservation for a cozy table and we were seated right at the top of the staircase, so everyone coming to the second floor passed by us.

His food was good but my pasta was overcooked and mushy. The dessert was yummy though. Considering that there are many places to eat downtown, I’m not sure I would come back here anytime soon.

Nicely designed interior greets you as well as a friendly staff. We were sat on the second floor which was relatively quiet yet alive with people and conversations. The menu had a nice variety of dinner choices and we ordered soup, salads and a main course. Each was nicely presented, delivered at just the right time and delicious. The Lobster Bisque was absolutely delicious! The filet on-tray was perfectly done and seasoned deliciously. A pork chop was equally delicious and the seasoning was creative! While we have visited Indianapolis several times we had not ventured away very from the downtown hotels we stayed at. This Resturant is walkable from downtown but we drove - and so glad we did! A cool area to explore with shops and bars as well as Mesh - a great Resturant to enjoy and evening!

Birthday brunch

Great food and great service

We went there for first Friday of Lent. They had no seafood they said due to a delivery issue. Ended up ordering a Greek salad which arrived with salami mixed all thru it. Very disappointing experience.

First time at this place, it was quite refreshing. This is what eating out should be like. Good quality and nice friendly service. The brunch menu had several staple selections with a slight flare. Good homemade and chef inspired solutions that make eating out fun and different. It’s not the same old thing. Enjoyable and would certainly recommend.

Went for early brunch on Valentine's Day! It was nice and quiet and great atmosphere. Our server was on top of it and treated us very well. The biscuits as an appy and the Chorizo omelette were spot on and the bloody mary was pretty tasty as well. I would highly recommend going there for brunch. The menu was limited but all the available choices sounded great.

Dinner was great out server Aiden came and introduced himself and took our drinks and appetizer then took our food order. Once we got our food he asked how it was and never checked pack on us we needed more refills.he passed our table five times and so I moved our cups to the corner maybe to see if he gets the hint and still nothing he also was helping other table throughout the five times. Very poor service , it wasn’t even busy either. I finally had to wave down the host I think and asked for more refills. We felt so unnoticed and once we were done we just wanted to leave. I had to wave my hand as he wanted to pass our table just to get our check. He took a faster time to get the check then to give us good service.

BOOKED ONLINE PRIOR ABOUT A WEEK - CALLED A COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE TO CONFIRM & WAS TOLD WE WE'RE NOT IN THE SYSTEM EVEN THOUGH WE HAD A CONFIRMATION # SO WE BOOKED SOMEWHERE ELSE THEN THE DAY BEFORE WE RECEIVED AN EMAIL STATING IF WE ARE READY AND TO CONFIRM OUR RESERVATION. CALLED BACK & EXPLAINED OUR SITUATION & THEY APOLOGIZED & SAID WE DO HAVE A RESERVATION??
NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED BUT WE ENJOYED OUR EVENING THERE.

Food you don’t feel guilty eating. Super tasty, well prepared, and not bad for you. All staff, especially our server/ the bartender, were extremely friendly and gave wonderful recommendations for our first time in Indy. The facility was clean and I felt safe dining there during these times. I’d definitely recommend and go back.

Excellent setting with social distancing. Waitress provided a wonderful service. Food was very good. Cooked to perfection.

met our daughter and son in law in Indy, as it is a mid way point for each of us....first time trying Mesh...very good food quality....nice breadbasket ($5)....a skooch pricey on the drinks...atmosphere could have used a bit of a more hip vibe....overall a very good experience

Honestly, the food was pretty mediocre. It wasn't great and it wasn't terrible. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things- the Amish chicken was fine but tasted like something I could make at home. The salmon was undercooked and the salad was just a salad. We were a little disappointed but will definitely give it another chance. Our waiter was great.

Disappointed all around. Service was ok, I think our server was trying, but may have had too many other tables. I can forgive that. What I can not forgive was our undercooked steaks and the watered down lobster bisque. All the food was incredibly overpriced (and we did devour downtown). Was my first time and will be my last time!

Mesh on Mass is our standby. The menu offers quality comfort food like short ribs (one of my favorites), steak frites (my husband's fave) and risotto for the grandson. When the weather permits we like to enjoy dinner on their secluded patio. And 1/2 price cocktails on Thursday can't be beat.

Food was great. The servers and hosts were really friendly. I would suggest to anyone for Sunday brunch. Half price bottles of wine on Sunday

We did the devour Indy menu. The meal was decent. Lobster bisque was not creamy as it should’ve been. Short rib was a bit dry not quite moist and falling apart. Bread pudding was good. I’ve come to this place several times. It’s a bit hit and miss. Our server was wonderful.

Celebrated 2 birthdays

Bar service was very slow during our visit. I chose the short rib from the devour menu and it tasted like onion soup mix and was dry. Overall, I was disappointed in the food quality and my drink from the bar (watered down).

I enjoyed our visit to Mesh Restaurant. While I certainly did leave an above average gratuity, I was momentarily annoyed by the waitress. We were prepared to order more drinks and our meals. The waitress did come by prepared to take our order. She then suggested we might wish to have appetizers. That stumped me a bit because I hadn't contemplated appetizers. We were open to appetizers but had to quickly make a decision on which to choose. I didn't have a problem with making a decision on the spot, it would only take a few seconds. Then the waitress walked away, without taking our order for the appetizer, our drinks or meals. We had to waive her down once she was in sight again to take our orders. In any event, all else went well and we had a great time. That's the only reason I couldn't give five stars. I'm sure it's annoying to your staff to serve folks that can't make up their mind, but once she took the opportunity to make an additional sell it would have been nice to give us a few more seconds. If I had been by myself I likely wouldn't have made the additional selection once she walked away. There you go. All good now.

We'll keep coming back! The perfect Sunday brunch spot. Brought my 1 year old and the staff was very accommodating.
