Food, atmosphere, and service were each top notch. For example I ordered the tuna salad sandwich, which in itself seems standard...quite ordinary, however it was delicious!! The tuna in it was amazing with great flavor. The atmosphere is peaceful and you sit a comfortable distance from other diners which makes conversation easy. And the service was professional from our friendly and knowledgeable waiter to being served our meals shortly after we ordered to our water glasses being tended to without asking. Looking forward to my next visit.
My steak was cooked to perfection as was my husband's salmon. Our guests also enjoyed their meals very much. Fun evening.
Came for my parents’ 40th wedding anniversary and could not have had a better experience. Our group had several different dishes and all were exceptional! Recommendations: Brussel Sprout Gratin appetizer, Steak frites, Risotto and the cheesecake! Our group of 7 had a great time.
We accepted a bar table since we arrived tardy. That may have been the noisier area but food was still delicious and happy with our choice. We weren’t rushed or pushed. Nice evening!
We were seated in a good area. Our server was great. Food was delicious and the bread appetizer was amazing.
Service was so slow, it wasn’t crowded, took 2 hours for lunch and we all had salads/ boards/ easy meals, we almost missed our show. Had to hurry the server along a couple times. Asked for salt and pepper that never arrived. The lettuce wedge was bland.
The restaurant is located in the arts district of Indianapolis. We chose this restaurant from reviews. Unfortunately parking and traffic are terrible so I would take a Lyft if possible. The menu had a lot of choices but only three entrees that were vegetarian. We didn't see vegan entrees. The wine list was very extensive.
The noise level was at the max and the ambiance was fair. With that said we had great service and the food was well prepared.
Fantastic new dishes! Loved the specialty cocktails, salmon nachos and curry vegetable bowl. Flavors really popped!
My wife and I love Mesh, definitely a go to for us on Mass Ave. They rolled out the new menu this week and as always it’s fantastic. Can’t wait for our next trip in, most likely will be for brunch in the very near future.
Food was amazing, as always. I enjoyed the new root curry but it's definitely not as good as the squash curry on the previous menu. Missing the texture - the spaghetti squash curry had cashew (if I remember right) and peas. Overall the party I was with were extremely pleased with the new menu choices.
Birthday with wife and kids
Great dinner! My daughter and I loved the Amish chicken and my husband really enjoyed the steak frites. All in all, a wonderful dining experience.
Our server, Amanda, was wonderful. We look forward to returning.
Wonderful Food and Great Service at this New Upscale Restaurant. Our first visit was brunch, wonderful service with a huge menu with plenty of options for my vegetarian spouse. We will absolutely be back. I was very surprised at the portions - great value. You have to go!!!
We were celebrating our niece’s engagement. We were greeted immediately by the hostess. Our table was ready which was a comfortable quiet booth. Our server was incredible. Our niece’s fiancé ordered the chorizo omelet. The presentation was excellent. He loved it. My niece had the chicken and waffles which were great. My husband had the eggs benedict which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the chicken salad sandwich which was wonderful and huge. I brought half home. We were there for brunch. We celebrated with mimosas. I would highly recommend the Mesh for brunch.
We love to come to Mesh for brunch and this visit did not disappoint. I had the Vegetarian Omelette and my husband tried the Chilaquiles (somewhat like a Mexican lasagna with a fried egg on top). Both entrees were delicious and the fried potatoes with my omelette were perfectly done. Can't have brunch without a mimosa and Bloody Mary--they were also just right. However, we are hoping they bring back the old maple sausage patties. Sorry not to have them on this visit.
Wonderful service and excellent food. They accommodated our large party very well.
Creative dishes. Tablemates had RISOTTO and the SPAGHETTI SQUASH. They absolutely loved theirs. I was the carnivore with the hangar steak and truffle fries. Mine was a good basic meat entree and mates helped me consume the fries. A bit noisy for those over 55+ year old ears. Our waitress, Sara, tried her best to keep up with her section and a missing colleague's section while we were there. Hostesses and bus staff were professional. Appreciated the continuous refills on water! Liked the location.
Please please please bring back the grilled pork tenderloin with risotto cakes. It was and I’m sure still will be amazing.
Had Chicken Bowl, it was delicious. Other diner said Linguine and Pesto Sauce was fabulous
Great service and amazing food! One of my favorite places
We are big fans of the Cunningham group so we try and visit their various restaurants. It has been awhile since we have eaten at Mesh, so it was nice to see the ambience was still there. Our food was great. My husband had a steak and I had salmon. My salmon was bit overdone for me but the way my husband likes it. We did end the meal with their signature bread pudding and it was wonderful.
We went with friends to celebrate Veterans Day. Mesh offered a free entree for my veteran husband. I had the Amish chicken and it was delicious. All four of us really enjoyed our choices. We shared bread pudding and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The server was attentive and helpful. We were early diners so the noise level was low but I am assuming it would be louder with a full house.
Went for birthday celebration and they was nice about it and provided on the house dessert. The food was decent but not spectacular for the prices. We was seated in the rear of the restaurant and the temp had to be close to 80 degrees as it was uncomfortable for myself, my wife and two friends. Towards the end of dinner it was so hot that we was sweating. When asking the server why, his response was that you should feel it in the kitchen and downstairs. WOW! Server was also inattentive and seemed to be confused most of the time. Not planning on a return trip needless to say.
We have always enjoyed Mesh when we come downtown. However, this visit we experienced poor service and luke warm food. Waitress seemed disorganized and lacked good service- brought salad out with entree, could not get cork out of wine bottle. Very disappointed for a restaurant we typically look forward too.
Wonderful drink at the bar. The bar is beautiful. Food was fabulous! Highly recommend.
The steaks were like butter, my amish chicken was very moist and flavorful.
The lobster bisque was one of the best i tasted. The bar area was warm and perfectly lit.
I would go back if i lived close.
Wonderful un-rushed opportunity to catch up with friends. Most food delicious. Person who ordered lobster Mac was disappointed that it wasn’t more traditional cheesy Mac.
Went to Mesh for Sunday brunch. We went at 10:30 and it was not very busy. The food was delicious! Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy, as well as the breakfast potatoes.
The wrong steak was delivered to the table. The crab cakes were eatable, just not that good. Waiter was no help discussing menu items. We were not charged for the steak, even tho the correct steak was given to us, Mesh was highly recommended by friends. overall very disappointing.
Excellent service and food as always
Not our first time dining at Mesh but one of our best experiences. The food was delicious and our server was helpful in menu choices.
We were seated by the kitchen, and let’s just say they were having fun back there, just a little loud. Should really have it closed off
Family fall break dinner. Unfortunately we were in the main dining area which was very loud and very difficult to have a conversation. We had the meatball appetizer which was excellent. Both people who had the chicken were pleased and one ordered lobster Mac and cheese which was very good. 2 had salads with shrimp, the salads were tasty but the shrimp was over cooked. All in all a solid performance.
It was nice food with good service. Definitely a cut above a majority of restaurants in Indianapolis.
One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! The pickled shrimp appetizer was a stunner and the scallop entrée was done perfectly. Bread putting for dessert was amazing. All-around a fantastic experience!
We had a wonderful dinner. We told our server, Joel, that we were attending a performance later on that evening and he made sure that we were served in plenty of time to leisurely enjoy our delicious meal. Joel was an exceptional waiter - he was personable, attentive and had wonderful suggestions. He was nearby whenever we needed him but did not hover unduly.
Food was amazing and at a decent price. The wait staff and management were attentive and kind. It did get a little too loud for me to talk to the person who was sitting across from me but I think it was partly the position of the table in the corner.
A very large party was seated directly behind us and we could not even carry on a conversation due to the noise level. More people kept arriving and they stood and talked loudly around their table and right by our group. We would have stayed longer for after dinner drinks but it was pointless since we couldn’t hear each other. That party should have been in a private area.
Food and service were amazing!
