On vacation w/ my wife and friends. Had eaten here back in 2010 and had the 16 Spice Chicken. We both raved to everyone how great it was. Our friends that joined us had to see if it was so good. The Mesa Grill - did it again. Couldn't have been better. Great atmosphere, great staff, and of course outstanding food. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
This is my favorite restaurant and make it a point to eat here during all my Vegas visits. My favorite item is the Chili Rellano, however I have yet to have anything I don't like... even the iced tea is amazing.
I hand not visited the Mesa Grill in year. Just as good as I remembered!
Birthday/ Wedding Anniversary - food was the best meal in Las Vegas!!!! Paul our server was excellent- we were blown away!!!!!!!!!!
Our favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. The food is always superb and the service is excellent. A wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning!
Food is underrated! So far the best restaurant in vegas! Been to a lot of restaurants in vegas...lot of high end ones and nothing can beat how awesome the food is and how it's full of flavor. You won't regret it. Will definitely be back:)
Great dining experience. Food was presented well and tasted fantastic. Seemed a little pricey for why it was, however would definitely eat there again.
The meal held up to my huge expectations. Fabulous flavors with everything; cocktails, entrees, dessert! Highly recommended.
I have eaten at Mesa grill about half a dozen times there are so many choices in Vegas but the Mesa grill NEVER disappoints.
Food was fantastic, service was good, bartender not so friendly but overall we had an amazing experience!
Food was great ... had a very enjoyable evening. Everyone was happy with their order.
The food and presentation is always amazing. Great place for friends to get together. Service is always great.
Food was great. Wait staff was fabulous - very well informed about menu and very attentive to our table needs.
Great. Wonder Neal and staff
Visiting from out of town. Wanted to experience Bobby flat cuisine
The busser poured water into the glasses while they were on the table instead of holding the glasses away from the table. He spilled water onto the table with each pour.
I love everything about this place except for its uncomfortably small tables and sitting incredibly close to other people so it feels like you can’t have a private conversation
Overall, we had an enjoyable dining experience. Our waiter was very jovial and attentive. Putting a candle @ my wife's dessert is a nice touch ( though I paid for that dessert lol). We we're seated with the Sports book view which I have requested. We always have a splendid time whenever we eat @ Mesa Grill.
Awesome Place! Great food!
Food was amazing. Server didn't smile and didn't look like he wanted to be there.
Amazing food - loved the spacing between tables. Margaritas to die for - try the white peach or the original lime. Smoked shrimp tacos and pork tenderloin sandwich entrees were perfect - exactly what we had hoped for. Too full to try dessert but the coconut cake sure was enticing.
Loved our waiter - very knowledgeable and friendly - food was fabulous as expected
Good, friendly service. The shrimp corn tamale and salmon was delicious. Really good coffee with dessert. Only complaint was the churros are a bit too cake-like and not chewy enough.
Good if you enjoy spicy food. We sampled the mesa spread and it was tasty. My wife had the double smoked quesadilla and found it somewhat dry but enjoyed it never the less. I had the sixteen spice chicken which was delicious. The third dinner had the ancho chilli salmon and asked it to be cooked through sadly it was a bit on the burnt side. We shared the coconut cake which was light and delicious, however the waiter decided to serve it to us with soupspoons? This was bought to the waiters attention and he response was that he usually serves it that way when people are sharing, that was his "own thing", not sure what that meant.
Overall, the meal was enjoyable and since my wife watches Bobby's cooking showes she was thrilled to have experience his food. We will give it another try in the future.
I got the strip steak and my husband got the chicken. I really liked the steak, my husband thought the chicken was way over seasoned. Neither of us liked our margarita (I got the house, he got the Patron) - they were EXTREMELY tart. Food is a matter of preference though, so I wouldn't rate a restaurant poorly because of that.
The real issue for us was the service. We were sat along a wall with another table on either side of us, with about enough space in between for a person to walk. So it was very easy to compare how we were treated with the other tables. Both other tables were older couples, and they got really good service - never had to wait more than a few minutes for anything. Our waitress seemed to decide as soon as we came in that we were going to be a bad tip, so didn't want to spend any time on us. When I told her the margaritas were very, very tart, she just said well, I offered to upgrade your margarita to have Grand Marnier, which would have made it better, but you didn't want to! First, if the drink needs Grand Marnier to make it palatable then don't make it an option, just put in and charge more (the upgrade charge wasn't the issue for me, I just don't like Grand Marnier). Second, her attitude was just awful. Then we had to wait over 30 minutes to pay the bill - she was literally walking past to other tables, I was calling for her, and she just ignored us. Fortunately they had another person to keep us in water at least and somebody (very nice) came out from the kitchen to bring our food. Still, I wouldn't go back if they are going to treat people like that. This was the expensive splurge of our vacation and it was no fun at all...
Not a good option for vegetarians or vegans, at least during brunch menu. One item I was interested in, waffles, and waffle-maker was broken. Wife asked if they could make any vegetarian items not on menu (ALWAYS a yes at every even-moderately upscale restaurant we've been to)--answer was a flat "no." We left and ate elsewhere.
This was Mother’s Day Sunday for brunch.
I always get the ny steak —always. But this time I got the a Tiger Shrimp tamale. It was soooo go that I could have had a couple more. I also had the burger & it was good.
The service was great plus I got to see Bobby Flay. He was there for an Uncorked Vegas event.
our favorite breakfast in Las Vegas. Great choices on the menu and great spicy bloody Mary. would highly recommend.
Vegan food was great ! The carrots as a side the best ever, I had the Chile rellano which was terrific ! Everyone loved third meal , we had the last seating of the night , but the service was terrific anyways .
We had several appetizers instead of main courses. The tamale is truly worth going for! So delicious and I am not one to ever order a tamale! Our waiter was right on! We also had the lamb tacos and the dip trio. All excellent. Pricey but what to be expected at a Mesa Grill.
The lamb was outstanding.
Best meal & Service we had while in Las Vegas!
Great food and service! Waiter made great recommendations about our food and drinks! Great Bobby Flay spices! Will be back on our next trip
We saw a show at Cesars and would recommend a trip to Mesa Grill as a combo if you aee a show there. Very fun and great food.
We ate at Mesa Grill prior to attending an Elton John concert at the Colosseum; it's super convenient for pre or post show dining as the Colosseum is right across the lobby.
I usually skip the bread basket, but the offerings in this one were so good I deemed them worth the carbs and calories. We started with the tiger shrimp tamale, it was very tasty. We also had the asparagus with lime vinaigrette which was a nice slight change up for this vegetable. The killer item was the chili relleno. It was a flavor packed dish that tap danced in my mouth. We both felt was one of the tastiest dishes we've had in our lives. Our server was stellar, one of the best I've had in years. I asked if they had a spicy margarita on the menu and surprisingly, they don't. However, our server offered to have them make me one with habanero oil and served it to me with a dish of jalapeno slices. It was delicious, no visible or taste indication of the oil, just the pleasant sweet-hot habanero burn. He was efficient, friendly and kept a mindful eye on the clock pacing our meal knowing we had show tickets. I seriously believe we may watch for cheep flights to Vegas and return just to go eat more chili rellenos at Mesa Grill!
Food is always fantastic, the Red Chile BBQ Duck appetizer (pictured) was amazing. You cannot go wrong with any entrée. They all have unique/complex flavor profiles. Only down side is the two top tables are too close together.
I'm a Bobby Flay fan and was really looking forward to this. The waiter suggested the cheese appetizer and it was Outstanding. I ordered the Lamb Chops and my husband was jealous, as I out ordered him. He did the pork loin and it was good, but not great . Not sure I'd go back as there are so many restaurants in Vegas, but we did enjoy it very much.
The food was very good but over priced. The service was very good. They do need to get some better wines though. We tried several glasses of their wine by the glass and were disappointed.
It was awesome! 😀
