Mesa Grill is my favorite place to eat in all of Las Vegas. It's sad to see it go.
We were seated by the water station —that was a little disruptive. The hostess was a little rude too. The food was pretty good. None of this really matters since it was the finale for the restaurant.
James our waiter was phenomenal and everything overall was just perfect! My birthday was the next day so this was a great bucket list thing to start off for it. I received a cookbook out of it and was soo surprised and happy because I love Food Network. Thankyou again for the wonderful experience!
Great service, margaritas, queso appetizer, rib eye and Chile rellano!
We had to squeeze in one last meal before this gem at Caesar's closed. This was one of my hands down favorite restaurants. It was unique and not just another steakhouse or Italian place...no, it had flair! Why close this for yet another Italian place...ugh! Big mistake! Anyway, service this night was awful. The appetizers came out before our drinks, but I didn't care because the food itself was just amazing as it always is. Nobody makes a spicy pumpkin soup like Bobby Flay! Just pure perfection. The shrimp and corn tamale was delightful. Our meal took probably 30-40 minutes to come out and when it did finally come out, it was the completely wrong order. So they take it away, but then bring back the wrong plate and say it's complimentary. Nice gesture, but not something I really desired to eat anyway. The pork was out of sight, amazing flavors and worth the wait. Then it took about another 25 minutes just to get the waiter's attention just to get the check. We would have gotten dessert, but he never once checked on us. The server, who brought us the food (not the waiter) apologized profusely and actually had a conversation with us. The waiter should not be a waiter. Very confused by the poor service. I never was even upset when the order came out wrong, so just surprised by the lack of service. Either way, I was thrilled to have one last amazing meal with actual spices and flavors. SO SAD to see this place go.
Sad is this closing.
Dined on their last open day. Service was great. Food was a bit slow to arrive but delish especially the shrimp tamale. My cactus pear margarita was much sweeter than I’ve had previously there but they did their best to correct it. Gonna miss this restaurant.
Excellent food. Sorry to see go!!!
lovely experience as always! sad to see mesa go, but i’m so glad i made it over before they close!
Well since they are closing there not much since in saying much except we were disappoint with our last visit as it did not live up to our previous visits. Just not up to same standard. I would be more critical and specific but no need.
As always, everything was superb. Sad they are closing, but at least got to eat there one last time!
Except for our last visit when we were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday, the service was horrible my steak was burnt, the server didn’t show up for over 10 minutes, we had to wait another 10-15 minutes for a refill, he would ask all the other guests except us. Since we love Mesa grill we’ll be back and hopefully the experience will be better.
We are sorry to see MG close and hope the new restaurant will measure up. I’m not sure why LV needs yet another Italian restaurant.
Excellent! Sad to see it will be closing because the food was so good.
Excellent food & wait staff
Sucks they are closing(or hopefully renaming) been here for the first week of opening over 10 years ago. And here for the last. Well done Bobby..
Mesa Grill has always been our families favorite restaurant whenever we visit Las Vegas. We brought two friends who have never dined and were literally blown away by the meal. The Ribeye Steak, Shrimp Tamale and Coconut Cake are always worth the trip from Orange County. Tonight was no exception.
I had the spicy scrambled eggs and Bloody Mary. Serving size was perfect and all was served with perfection!
We wanted to have one last meal at Mesa Grill before they close it down. The meal was good. We have always enjoyed Mesa Grill.
Unfortunately, our service was ‘just ok’. Everyone seemed grumpy and “going through the motions”.
I guess you can’t blame them, given the fact the place is closing in a week, but on the other hand, they are still working for gratuity.
Filet was cooked perfectly. Pesto mashed potatoes lacked a bit of flavor. Shrimp tamale was excellent as usual and the chicken quesadilla was delicious. Bobby Flay can make a quesadilla special. We'll miss this restaurant but looking forward to Amalfi.
First visit, birthday dinner. Expensive but food was exquisite. Even went back the next day for brunch. So sad this restaurant is closing but excited to see Bobby flays next venture
I think Bobby tried to hard to fit in at Caesars and lost the spice in the food. 16 spice chicken wasn't flavorful. The pork tenderloin was lacking in sauce and tamale was more presentation then flavor. The corn muffins were terrible, all of us took a nibble and no more.
The Beat Bobby show always has him creating dishes with flair and chilies. Guess they are saving them for the show cause they ain't in the Mesa Grill food.
Great mimosas, excellent service
Ran out of the cornbread that every diner gets prior to your meal. It was 915 and you run out? No substitutions or allowances were offered.
The front desk hostess was less than pleasant and the lady that sat us didn’t have a personality that was welcoming either.
Our waiter was just ok. Spoke too fast and was hard to understand.
I know this restaurant will be gone in a couple of weeks to make way for a new one. Hopefully they will get better staff and plan accordingly for their patrons on a Friday night! My reservations were made thee weeks prior to my arrival... I’d say that plenty of time to plan for my few cornbread muffins!
Bobby Flay, your food was pretty good but it doesn’t matter if everything else is crap.
Good luck in your new venture!
My wife and I have been a fan of Bobby Flay for many years but never visited one of his restaurants until 11/6/2020. My birthday and wanted something special and found it at MESA. The staff were incredible, ambiance was inviting and food was spot on. Special place on a special day. We were not disappointed. So sorry MESA is closing. Should have made it sooner. I can however, say that I was there and it was fantastic.
Heard it was going to be closing on November 14. It has been on my list of places to eat but just haven’t been to Las Vegas in a while. So, I drove 5 hours just to experience dinner and drove back. After having been there, I will tell you I would fly there just for dinner and then fly back. It was well worth the time and money. Thank you so much.
best food I ever ate. My steak melted in my mouth. Unfortunately they will be closing November 14 to open up an Italian restaurant. But I’m glad I got to eat one more time there.
I’m not sure if it was that we weren’t dressed to impress but we were definitely treated as if we didn’t belong. Food was great.
Everything was excellent. Our server was very personable and the food was delicious. Had price fixe menu and choices were very well matched. Quiet table location allowed for grest vonversation. Highly recommend.
Was decent but the steak cuts didn’t match the price point. Tamale also Was not really sharable.
I didn’t enjoy the food or service ! Overcooked chicken, and the steak was awful. Two different types of potatoes, and neither was very delightful. I can say that the tamale was pretty fair. About a 6.5. Bobby flay needs to do better if you’re going to be on a stage like this !
Menu is butchered to nothing. Used to be a much better menu.
Both food and service surpassed our expectations. Everything was great
The food was great as usual. Classics with a southwestern flair that only Bobby can do. Awesome presentation. Love the open kitchen Mesa grill will be sorely missed when it closed this month
Food was great, service was amazing. Great place for dinner!
Amazing food and service! Queso is a must. Best dinner during Vegas stay
Although the menu was limited, there were excellent, flavorful, nicely seasoned choices.
The service was also prompt and well timed.
The food here is very good. We went for brunch and everything was excellent. Had the blueberry waffle and the cobb salad. we had the treso dip it was absolutely amazing. The staff is very attentive and excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I’ve never visited, but since they’ll be closing soon on November 14, I wanted to experience Bobby Flay’s signature culinary masterpieces that defined him before they’re gone.
However, sad to say, I was left very disappointed.
Either I’ve visited on their off day or they just don’t care anymore since they will be closing soon.
First off, the blueberry muffin that was brought out was cold.
Then, our order of filet mignon and their famous pork loin which we asked for medium, came overcooked to medium well and the outer areas were actually well done.
Having so many amazing other options in Las Vegas, this place was unfortunately a mistake.
It was a very busy Saturday and other restaurants had completely booked reservations other then here.
It is no wonder why and it’s also a no wonder why Bobby Flay wants to close Mesa Grill, his flagship restaurant, to turn it into his next venture.
Brunch was incredible! The chilaquiles were amazing!!!!
