Bobby Flay lived up to his reputation, the scene, service and food was epic!
It had been a number of years since my husband and I were here. Still does not disappoint. We had excellent service. We shared Sophie’s salad. Wonderful salad with a light dressing that included chickpeas and kidney beans. Fresh and fabulous. My husband had the lamb chops and I had the halibut. Both had Flay’s signature additions of either chimichurri, cilantro or other flavors that grab your attention. To end our delicious dinner we shared the apple cider cheesecake. Creamy and swirled in a caramel sauce. Love this place.
Great. We ate at Mesa Grill in NYC and Las Vegas location is far more superior! Loved our meal and service.
Food and service were great. Seating is not intimate and it felt like we were having dinner together with several other diners. The lamb chops were amazing.
First the good. The taste of the food was phenomenal as was the presentation. The decor and general atmosphere was somewhat informal so it made for a very comfortable dining experience.
Now the bad. I wasn't happy with the waiter who spoke too fast and despite having asked if it was my first time at Mesa (which it was), spoke too fast to the point that he seemed to be in a hurry to get to another appointment for which he was already late. Since I could barely understand him, I found it easier to just tune him out and read the menu.
Overall, the food was the star and it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Mesa for the food and it's lively atmosphere. First timers, do yourself a favor and review the menu before you go and you'll have a great time.
We made reservations there for our vacation. The service was great. The waiter was great. The food was excellent. Next time I’m in Las Vegas I’m going there again.
If you like lamb, make sure to try the lamb chops. They are delicious!
Was very good
I loved this place. The service was excellent and the food was wonderful. I will return whenever I have the chance.
The food was superb, and the service was indifferent, at best. One person from our group asked for the beverages menu, as he wanted to order a scotch. He was told that someone would bring it. No one did, despite our asking our own server, and flagging down another passing server.
The busser was in such a hurry to clear the table that he whisked away three people’s plates, even though the other two were still eating.
We had to keep asking for our water to be replenished.
No one was interested in taking a drinks order, so let’s not even think that they’d ask whether anyone would like to order more drinks.
I had mentioned in my reservation that it was one person’s milestone birthday. Yet, no one bothered to ask whose birthday it was, let alone make a fuss of that person.
The three hostesses at the front desk were more interested in giggling and talking among themselves than to actually meet and greet guests walking in.
Overall, disastrous service. Even McDonald does better.
Awesome wine and appetizers - but our entries were unexpectedly middle of the road. Mahi Mahi was tough and the corn muffins tasted fishy.
One of my all time favorites in Vegas.
Wonderful as always!
One of the best meals I’ve ever had.
I wanted to experience Bobby Flay's signature restaurant at Cesar's Palace in Las Vegas. The experience did not disappoint. I was a solo diner, but when I arrived (with my reservation), I was offered 3 choices: sit at a table in the dining room, at a table in the lounge, or at the bar. I chose the bar because it actually seemed pretty quiet, and sometimes it is nice to engage with the bartender or other diners when you are by yourself.
Great margarita (had to have one there)! The duck 'johnny cake' appetizer was flavorful and superb. I relished every bite. The bartender recommended the Halibut which came floating in a posole broth. The halibut was cooked perfectly --flaky and moist -- but the broth was overpowering. To his credit, he asked if I liked spicy, and I said yes. Normally I do - in this case, the broth was too spicy and overpowered the flavor of the fish. Next time I will order 2 appetizers as my dinner.
The restaurant was expensive - so plan on $50-100 pp with one drink.
Food is way over spiced and over priced for the food quality.
Fabulous food, exceptional service provided great directions for ordering. Excellent dining experience!
This is my favorite Las Vegas restaurant - tremendous service and outstanding food!
Birthday celebration with wife. Service and food was exceptional. Can’t miss with this fantastic restaurant.
Wine list is shrinking and Mesa was sold out of Malbec...
Traveled from Washington State to dine there for my wife’s birthday. It was nothing short of fabulous. My wife had the signature pork dish with pecan butter on a corn tamale and I the grilled tuna. Cooked to perfection. For dessert we shared the bourbon pecan tart with sour cream ice cream. We will definitely return!
I went to Las Vegas for my 30th birthday and our dinner at Mesa Grill was my birthday dinner. The staff was extremely efficient and seated us very quickly. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and had several recommendations for us as we were first-time visitors. One person in our party has celiac disease and our server took that in stride and gave her recommendations about what was gluten free. The signature margarita was stunning. Crisp, clean flavors and delicious. I had the tuna with green peppercorns and mango sauce over couscous with the carrots as my side dish. Everything was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.
Nice place. The tiger shrimp tamales were fabulous!
It was ok. We love Bobby Flay but I was a little disappointed with the menu options. I just feel like it could have more choices. The dishes we ordered were good.
The margarita he got was not as good as we expected. Can't remember which one.
Overall, it was fine but I really expexcted it to be better.
Amazing! The food never disappoints. I had the grilled tuna done to perfection and my husband had the bone-in veal chop. Our server, Brenda, was on top of things. She was knowledgeable, attentive and informative. Love this place!
Absolutely excellent service, food was outstanding! Will definitely come back
We dined here for my daughter’s 23rd Birthday, and we were so glad we did. The food was the best that we have had in Vegas. I ordered the double cut porter house pork chop served on polenta with a side of asparagus and it was delicious. It was the special and I hope they put this on the menu. My daughter ordered the 16 spice chicken with pesto mashed potatoes. The seasoning was perfect and it was juicy and extremely tender. Make sure to try their margaritas the house with a smoker floater was fantastic as well as the pear margarita. Our waitress Tina M was so helpful, friendly and on the ball, she kept our drinks full. We started our meal with the dipping sauces with fried tortillas, really good. Our whole experience here was the best!! Definitely will go again!
Great service, food was good but make sure to order a side. Our Salmon and Mahi-Mahi came bare. Kind of pricey but worth it. The Grilled Lamb tacos were amazing. Make sure to have a reservation or you will have to sit at bar to eat.
Queso Fundido was amazing - fun atmosphere, great flavors and ambiance. Everyone working was kind and really welcomed us. We've always wanted to try a Bobby Flay reatuarant and it lived up to all expectations. Really delicious!
When I told my server that I had celiac disease and needed help to find gluten-free friendly options, he responded by going off about someone suing the restaurant about not being a gluten-free facility. I hate having to discuss my medical dietary restrictions every time that I eat out because of negative interactions like this with servers who perceive my wanting to not get sick as an assault on their restaurant. There are only a handful of restaurants that are certified gluten-free so I do not expect a Vegas restaurant in the middle of a casino to be gluten-free. The less than friendly service continued when I asked about which salad had the most vegetables rather than meat in it and the server responded that none of them were good options which was not true because my salad was essentially all vegetables and some chick peas and other beans. The hostesses were very friendly and accommodating but that was it. I would not try to maneuver through Cesars Palace again to eat at this restaurant.
We went for the Bobby Flay experience. We were not disappointed in the food. All was excellent. We passed on wine because it was greatly overpriced. We had a signature margarita instead that was quite good. The noise level was far above what I am used to. I suppose it is to be exported next to a casino
I especially enjoyed the take away bag. It was a nice presentation
Food was GREAT! I loved the menu and services. The meal for two was a bit pricey ($150 for two with tip). Aside from this, completely loved the venue. I will come back from sure.
Great wait staff. Good variety and great food
Food was good by somewhat spicy. portions were small for the money.
Food was very good but there are so many options for this type of price point that there isn't enough value to recommend it. Service was okay. She asked about the desserts three times at the end. I think this is a great food spot trying to pass as fine dining. They need to work on the service if that's the case.
Hostess was a bit cold and not super warm but the service staff and food was absolutely outstanding. Highly recommend!
Hands down the best food I've had and excellent service
This is our third time back to Mesa Grill. It's not cheap but it's worth the money. It's really good food. We've tried several of their main courses and sides. All of them are good. The spiced pork tenderloin is my favorite dish but there's nothing bad on the menu. And even though it's pricey you don't walk out feeling cheated. You'll remember the food, not the bill.
