Loved the restaurant, but the food was disappointing. Cocktails and Appetizers were great, we ordered the squash blossoms and the Crispy artichokes. But our entries were just not great, Service was top notch! Waitperson was knowledgeable and attentive. We were seated in the bar, which has a lively atmosphere. I guess we expected so much more from Bobby Flay.

Overall, I would consider this a early disappointing meal. The artichoke appetizer was burnt to the point that it tasted like toasted marshmallows. The service overall was slow and in attentive. Entrées were decent, but, nowhere near what you would expect for the price we paid. This restaurant was wildly overpriced, and generally a disappointment in the quality of the food.

With well in advance reservations and our 35th wedding anniversary, we were seated in a lovely aide booth. The service team was fully attentive and friendly. We chose the three course prix fixe menu. There were three choices in each course. Since the menu is seasonal; I won’t list everything. Each course was perfectly timed and presented. There is an energetic atmosphere. The noise level was not conducive to private conversation; which is not uncommon to many restaurants these days. Pricing was expected for a high caliber dining experience.

We ordered Dorade filet with Potatos and Brazino filet with Polenta. The fish was fresh, but non of the sides where to our liking. The potatoes were over fried and the polenta like “just polenta”. The noice level was so high I couldn’t carry a good conversation with my boyfriend (seated across each other), but the tables were so close sideways, that I know the life story of the guy seated next to me. Service was polite, fast, professional, but impersonal. Which is expected when a restaurant is so packed. Communication and coordination between staff is very good. The manager walked around, took the menus from the table to make room for the appetizers, then informed our waiter. Our waiter came back to take the order and brought new menus. Nothing came out of order or late. The person at the fish stand was very polite, answered all my questions and gave good details that made easier my choice. It was a good dinner, but I may not repeat my visit.

The waiter suggested the prix fixe menu with his top picks. The branzino and filet mignon were both excellent choices. Stick to the drinks on the menu and you can’t go wrong.

Eating at the bar is great. Tasting menu is perfect. Id go old fashioned with the olive oil cake for dessert
