Mesa Grill - Caesars Palace Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Once again amazing meal and experience. Our waitress went above and beyond. The food from the appetizer to the main course and sides do not disappoint. This restaurant is a must for any food palate. Caesar’s Palace is a one-stop destination for the unassuming Vegas guest.
I made our reservation through open table and I left note to please make our night special since it was our 10 yr Anniversary. The minute we walked in the staff knew of our anniversay and made every effort to make our night memorable!! Our waiter Chris was AMAZING! His knowledge and recommendations were spot on! We had a few appetizers since we enjoy the entire menu: the tiger prawn shrimp tamale was so tasty, the Black Kale salad was amazing, The Lobster bisque was mouth watering! I had the veal chop and my husband had the porter house chop. Both were the perfect Medium which just melted in our mouth!! We shared the jalapeño mashed potatoes (yummy) and the carrots (best I’ve ever had). I recommend taking your time when dining here for a special occasion, don’t rush dinner. Enjoy every single bite! We will see y’all again in Sept.
Thanks again for making our 10 yr Anniversary special.
Mesa Grill did not disappoint! The food was excellent. You have to try the porterhouse lamb chops and the pork tenderloin, delicious. The margaritas were wonderful. The only improvement that might need to be made is in the service. The service wasn’t bad, it just paled in comparison to other places we have been to.
We LOVE Bobby Flay! We have his cookbooks and love watching him on TV.....so we thought let's try Mesa while we were in Vegas. We had a 5:30 res, when we arrived there was large backup. When seated was given a table next to the kitchen entrance. There were tables for 2 away from the kitchen. I would recommend putting someone in charge up front who is experienced running a busy place. The food was average. Our server was on auto pilot offering all the high end items on the menu. Disappointing dinner. If we return, would try other items than what was recommended.
I loved it all. The food was delicious and very unique. i am a little bit of a snob when it comes to authentic mexican-ish cuisine and the food was different in the best way possible. The tamale with shrimp to die for and so were the breads and appetizers. I went for my birthday February 10th and I got a cute candle and churros, John our waiter was so sweet and polite. They made me a vanilla latte and it was the best after all that wonderful food. My 8 year old son was there as well and he had a blast, everyone was incredibly sweet and overall I would recommend MESA to anyone. Loved it!
My 2nd time to the Mesa Grill and it lived up to my memory from a few years back. We were right on time with our Saturday reservation at 6:45 and were seated about 30 seconds later. Ordered the lamb chops - perfectly medium rare with fantastic flavor. It was a little hard to understand everything the waiter was telling us about the menu (talked really fast), but his final recommendations were spot on.
You cannot miss eating here at Mesa Grill.....our 2nd time, my brother’s 5+ time! This restaurant has such wonderful food, great service
and enjoyable atmosphere! It’s very delicious food, we all loved everything that we chose to eat, but, everyone loved the Bone-in pork main dish! Half the group ordered that dish and they loved it! It is a restaurant you should have on your “must eat here” list! You will not be disappointed!
We went here for my son's 7th birthday. He's a HUGE Bobby Flay fan and wanted to eat at one of his restaurants for his birthday. The meal was excellent. The duck appetizer was amazing!! Service was also excellent. Our waiter went above and beyond. When we mentioned the reason for our visit he arranged to have my son get a tour of the kitchen and meet the chef!! It was very pricey but very very worth it.
Absolutely delicious! Waiters constantly refilled water, our glass was never half empty. Great service, yummy food. Waiter said Bobby Flay was there for a short period of time and that sometimes he comes out, but unfortunately we did not see him. Would have put the icing on the cake!
Service was impeccable. We started off with the goat cheese queso dip based on the recommendations posted here. It is amazing. I had the bone in ribeye with chipotle seasoning. May have been the best steak in my life. At the table we also had the mango seared tuna, and was equally impressed. Finished off with excellent coffee and the churro’s with star anice seasoning. Now I know why this guy wins all the time on Iron Chef. Do yourself a favor and eat here. I will be back!
My wife is a big Beat Bobby Flay fan and she’s wanted to eat here for awhile. We were seated immediately at a table for two. The tables are small and close together but surprisingly you don’t hear your neighbors conversation. Our server was polite but the server next us explained the menu to her guests, which we wish our server had done. The restaurant was accommodating as I am on a special diet. My spouse doesn’t eat a lot so she ordered a couple of appetizers that were filling. The breads served prior to dinner were a nice touch. My wife rarely eats bread w dinner but did sample the muffins and felt she needed to have butter (which she rarely eats). The staff could have taken away plates faster (because the tables are so small) but other than that it was a pleasant experience. If you are a TR member you also earn points on your visit!
Went to Mesa Grill on our first night in Vegas because it was in our hotel. We were surprised by the diversity of the menu, and quality of the food. To start I had the tiger prawns, excellent corn and garlic sauce. For entrees, I had the pork tenderloin with 17 spice rub, a signature dish, my wife had the chicken. Both were outstanding, beware the pork is spicy.
My wife said her margarita was one of the best she ever had.
Portions were very generous, which, unfortunately, left no room for dessert.
We are planning to return soon.
The staff was very helpful with our reservation. We arrived early and had two extra guests and we were accommodated easily and politely. The experience with the bartender and our server was less positive. They were dismissive and even rude. After a business meal with 5 people, our waiter said abruptly: we don’t do separate checks and we can take up to 4 credit cards. Period. I don’t know if they are under-staffed, but this is not the level of service I would expect with the prices they charge. The food was amazing - everyone enjoyed their seafood and chicken and the veal chop was the best I’ve ever had. True of the kale salad too. The ambiance is vibrant and fun and a bit loud. I would go back — I just left with a bit of a negative feeling about the experience.
