The food was not as good as in past visits. Will not return since there are so many other great restaurants in Vegas. This used to be a standout.
We returned to Mesa grill with a large group because our first experience was so over the top a couple years ago. So sad that it didn’t meet our hopes for a spectacular dinner with the group we brought. Service was over the top wonderful but the food was just okay. A filet mignon that isn’t tender and a bit dry is just not okay at a place like this. Maybe it was an off night. Wonderful drinks.
Pumpkin soup delicious as were all entrees.Service was excellent, attentive as always. One if the best restaurants in Vegas.
Absolutely wonderful place to dine
We loved our lunch visit to Mesa Grill !! We watch Mr. Flay all the time and wanted to taste his food. We were not disappointed. Simply awesome. We loved the peanut barbecue sauce and chicken skewers. Amazing flavors. All of us were totally satisfied and will be visiting again hopefully soon. Best burger I’ve ever had too! My mom and wife loved the shrimp tacos.
Great food and service we had a combination of steak and fish, delicious
The food was just incredible. One of the best meals I’ve ever had.
Excellent service. We ordered salmon and the tamale for dinner and the queso for appetizer and all was amazing. Our drinks didn't even get half empty before they filled up - great service!
Maybe we just didn't order the "best" items on the menu, but the entire thing was pretty ordinary. It was OK. We've had much better food at restaurants half the cost and without a celebrity chef reputation. Oh, and if you specify "50th birthday" as the special occasion, you will get a "Happy birthday" from the hostess. ;)
It is unfortunate when you dine at a highly regarded restaurant, and get sub par service. First off, our waiter repeatedly only addressed myself at the table, as if my friend was not present. When our meals arrived, mine was perfect, hers quite under cooked. Her plate was taken back to be recooked, but took 20 minutes to be redone. Meanwhile, I either ate alone, or had a cold meal by the time hers arrived. Very poorly managed. Not once did our waiter return to apologize, or see if there was anything he could do to better the situation.
I did speak to the manager, and he was very apologetic. I appreciated his effort to rectify the situation by comping one of our meals.
Though our food was excellent in the end, I doubt we will be returning. ☹️
All four of us loved our dinner choices. None were overly spicy. My filet was so tasty and tender. The sticky toffee pudding cake was scrumptious! We all would come back again.
Bad service. Uncooked food. Very bad experience all around. I do not recommend wasting your hard earned money there. They didn’t offer to take the burger off the bill. I wasn’t going to waste my time. We paid and left.
Always the best!
Great food and drinks with competitive prices for the location. Some very unique options across the menu that were all very delicious. We were even lucky enough to see Bobby himself in the kitchen briefly!
It’s really really really really really REALLY good
The food was incredible and the service was great!! I actually saw Bobby Flay, so that was an extra treat to add to the experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Vegas!!
Food and service were great.
This wa the fourth time we have dined at this restaurant and most likely the last. We ordered the same appetizers and entrees as our last visit because the food was great then but this time the food was not acceptable. The Sophie’s salad was bland and poorly chopped. The tamale was smaller and only about two bites. The pork had no flavor other than some red pepper flakes. Very disappointed, especially for the cost of the meal.
Our waiter seemed preoccupied. Literally threw our check in the table like we were at a gastropub and not at a fine dining restaurant. Placed us next to a table with a drunk sports fan cheering loudly while eyeing a football game in the sports book nearby. I would suggest the management staff discreetly speak to guests like him. Once that table left, we had a wonderful time!
Amazing food and worth coming back to over and over again. If you haven't ate here... GO!
Wonderful as always
Seated quickly with our reservation and enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff. The lobster taco appetizer was excellent and tasty, but a little smaller than I would have liked. My husband's duck appetizer had good flavor and was appropriately-sized for an appetizer. The salmon entree was excellently seasoned and went well with the sauces. The sauces made it so that it wasn't overly salmon flavored which was very appealing for me. Very tender and easy to eat. My husband had the crusted chile rellano and enjoyed the crispy outside and tasty goodness inside. The margaritas that we had were exceptional and I would definitely recommend trying one. I wasn't as excited about the seating and ambiance as with other establishments. Seated close to other tables, a little loud and the view through the windows was to the casino. Not really that exciting considering how much we were paying to eat there. I would recommend for the food as it was excellent.
White peach margarita and pork tenderloin were delicious. Service was great too. Would definitely come back.
THE BEST food I have had at a restaurant in many years!
Food was phenomenal & great service! We had the pork tenderloin & the swordfish 😀😀
We had a reservation and arrived early. They seated us with no problem. My wife and I shared the goat cheese caso and it was delicious. I had Pork tenderloin and she had lobster tacos. Great food. Margaritas were very good but a tad expensive, but so is all liquor in Vegas.
This was the 3rd time we've eaten here. Always delicious and a special treat.
The food and service were excellent as they have been in the past. The only complaint we have is the tables are very close to each other. It is nearly impossible to not hear other people's conversations.
Food was very spicy (hot spicy) Not my favorite My son, who likes spicy food love it. I had the pork and it was very tender and cooked to perfection. The sweet potato tamale was wonderful. The best part of the meal was the dessert. I had the chocolate toffee pudding cake. I would go back just for the dessert. I am a pastry chef and usually send back dessert. This was so good. Very rich, so I would suggest you share.
Delicious foods + outstanding service and friendly Staff! Amazing!
Excellent food and service. We are never disappointed with Mesa Grill. It is a bit noisy but we were there on Saturday night during football.
Outstanding food and service! We love this place!
This was, by far, the WORST experience we had in Las Vegas. They waited 30+ minutes to inform me that nothing I ordered was anything I could eat. This is not a good restaurant for anyone who is Gluten Free. They deep fry all of the chips in soybean oil that is recycled every night by all of the restaurants in Caesar's Palace collectively-YUCK! Everything there is contaminated, no matter what they claim. When the food came after 1 hour and 30 minutes, my chicken hash with eggs and my friend's quesadilla were congealed from sitting too long under the warmer. She is not allergic to anything. The food was NOT edible. I could go on and on with all of the mistakes that were made, but the biggest one was the manager coming over to explain everything to us without taking anything off of the bill. I was super hungry at this point and ordered a side of Avacado-you don't have to cook that! However, it was browning on the ends and in the middle. They actually charged us for that too. We were excited to eat at Bobby Flay's restaurant, but we will never go back again. The quality was horrible. Iron Chef? Yes, but not in Vegas. How embarrassing it must be to put your name on a restaurant and make as much money as you can from a captive audience, while serving slop. Obviously he does not care. Sell out. People must go there for the extensive tequila menu. Once they drink enough, they can't taste the food. Run as fast and as far away as you can! BTW, I never write reviews. I usually deal with the restaurant directly. Mesa deserves the worst review I can think of. The people next to us said the same thing and were going to write a letter directly to Flay, and the people behind us did not eat their food. The restaurant was not busy at all for Sunday brunch at 12:15. When we left at 2:30, it still was not busy. Maybe the word is out! It is truly horrible. My Smashburger afterwards was 100x better! We were hungry after paying over $100 for Flay slop. Do not waste your time or $$$$$
We have been to Mesa Grill almost every time we are in Las Vegas. We return because the food is great and the service is outstanding. Every aspect says this is a highly trained, well run operation. I recommend it to anyone who wants an outstanding evening out.
This was a bucket list item for us as we ate the biggest Bobby Flay fans!! Our evening was spectacular. Our server was the BEST!! The food was absolutely delicious!! My husband & I shared an appetizer, main dish, & 2 sides & were plenty full!! The cactus pear margarita was on point & we each enjoyed multiple!! Thank you Mesa Grill!!
Dinner was as good as could be expected
The tuna steak was perfect as were the Brussels sprouts!
Very good restaurant
Very good southwestern cuisine. The shrimp appetizer and halibut were cooked to perfection. Margaritas were just ok. Fun dinner out in Vegas.
