    We enjoyed the food immensely at Meritage. The stuffed mushrooms, wedge salad, Thai Salmon, Twice baked potatoes, Mediterranean pita...all great. Be aware that not all the servers automatically share the specials of the day. We learned of the specials too late from a nearby server. Not all servers offer bread for the table nor state that some substitutions are allowed. Some servers state the price on the specials while others do not. Just ask questions and you won't be disappointed.

    After Matt found out we were one of his tables everything was great. Super seafood specials and excellent service from Matt. And it was 1/2 bottle of wine night.

    We had a great time with our friends while enjoying a very good meal. Our server was very friendly and did a great job of explaining the days specials and menu items. The salads were excellent. Our prime rib was seasoned very well and at the perfect medium rare temperature. Desert was also amazing. I commented when the check came that I thought the price was quite reasonable for a meal of that quality along with a few adult beverages. The trains that passed outside of the window actually added a unique experience. We are already planning another night out with family at this fine restaurant.

    We had a nice evening with friends and great food. The noise level was lower than usual, which is great. We chose to be seated downstairs rather than in the area with the live music, which is sometimes too loud for anyone to talk at dinner. The prime rib special was especially good.

    Meritage in Glendale, Ohio is one of our most favorite restaurants. There are many reasons that we love and frequent this restaurant. It is located close to our home, has both outdoor and indoor dining, offers an awesome variety of food and drinks on their menu, including Tuesday and Sunday 3-course meal specials, has classic decor and ambiance, very friendly and courteous staff who provide exceptional service, and also live music on certain days of the week.

    Excellent food and one of the best serviers ever. Rilen (spelling) was awesome and so very accommodating. We were celebrating a major family milestone and all of the staff made sure it was a special day, they special attention was paid to the honored couple, and every detail was a priority. Thank you to the staff for making it a wonderful evening. Highly recommend for a casual dinner, or a special celebration.

    This visit was veery disappointing. We arrived and were told our table was upstairs in the very noisy bar with the live band playing. We declined the table and were told there was no alternative. We were not offered a wait time for another table, nor were we offered a table on the patio. I was not aware of the need to specify a table in the dining room. The choices were "standard" or "bar." I chose Standard, not Bar. If we choose to go there again I will make it clear we want to be in the dining room.
