This is our go to place. Food always good, atmosphere welcoming and consistent service Can’t go wrong and Luna’s is awesome this time of year!!
Savoy is my favorite place. The food is great, the service is great, and they have a lot of options. It's the perfect place to go when you are with people who have different tastes. They also have gluten free options which is great because my husband has celiac disease. It can be very difficult to find options when eating out, but Savoy has several delicious options.
Awesome as always!!
Food was good. Under-seasoned but done well. It was a bit loud. The prices are high. I don't think the value to quality ratio is right. The prices were that of a high-end restaurant with average restaurant meals. We were there as a party of 4. Two adults and two teens. We had 2 appetizers, 4 entrees, 2 adult beverages, 2 soft drinks, 4 desserts, a coffee, and a tea. The total bill was $195. Drink selection was lacking. No local breweries or craft beers. Just the standard beers. I ordered a mojito but it was also lacking flavor. Rum was the only flavor that stood out. Should have been mint and lime at the fore-front but instead it was just boozy tasting. The server was very good and very attentive.
The Savoy is a local favorite especially outside at Luna's. We ate at the Bistro as the weather was not suitable for outside dining. I had reserved a table and nothing was done. However, it was not busy so no problem.
The other diners in my party were very disappointed as the homemade raviolis that are on the menu were not available. This should be told before choosing your food to avoid unnecessary disappointment.
Sat outside at Luna deck and had a perfect evening. Annie our server was excellent, the food spot on and the ambience perfectly casual. Will be back again!
Great people n food
Everything was very good. Food was a little slow coming out but the restaurant was extremely busy.
My friend and I dined at Savoy Inn last night. My meal, chicken franchise with penne, was absolutely delicious. Our waitress, Susie was excellent and the owner visited each table to check on his guests.
It was a very pleasant night.
Please keep the oyster appetizer just as is and on the menu!
As always, wonderful dinner, wonderful service, great food, great drinks !
The noise was a little louder than usual as it was two nights before Christmas, they were very busy and everyone was in a festive mood but the service was excellent. They had a singer to add to the festive occasion and also a special holiday menu in addition to their normal one. We enjoyed very much the short rib and polenta dish which was served in a small black iron skillet. It was excellent!
I loved how nice and polite the staff was. Food was awesome as well , can’t wait to come back . Thank you guys !
PHENOMENAL experience. Food and drinks were delicious. Staff was very attending.
Has a relaxed feel . I definitely would return to try more dishes. The oysters rockerfeller is my favorite. Service was friendly, could come around more and wines were affordable.
We were in town as a vendor at the Wheaton Arts Crafts show and found the Savoy Inn quite by accident through OpenTable. Our experience was exemplary. We decided to sit at the bar and were served by Melissa who was very engaging and attentive.
We had drinks and a number of small plates which were all well executed.
People at the restaurant were very friendly and we felt quite at home despite being many miles from our actual home.
We talked about how much we liked the Savoy Inn on the way home and decided we'd make a special trip next time we head to the shore, despite it being a little detour, so we could enjoy it again.
Decent restaurant in Vineland. Plenty to choose from on menu.
Attentive staff. Good food and good options. I took my grandson and his girlfriend out for his birthday. Tha appetisers were familiar but with a unique flavor. Means were a good size.
We were very pleased with our meals. Presentation was beautiful. I appreciated the half portion option. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. All around good experience.
The atmosphere was great! The service was excellent and the food was very good! Definitely would come back again.
We found this restaurant late one night after running an errand in the area. They greeted us warmly and were attentive even though it was after 10 pm and we were among the last customers. Great crab cakes and onion soup. Would definitely eat there again if in the area.
The food was great the service not so much! The young lady was very pre occupied with the couple behind us leaving my wife and I waiting for long periods of time while she showed pictures of her kids! After our meal we waited another 15 minutes just for the bill! Not a good anniversary experience! I didnt feel like i was at the savoy i remember from when I was younger but at a high price diner!
We weren't from the area and just happened upon this spot. We were pleased with the extensive menu, bar area and friendly staff. The food was delicious, portions were plenty and the drinks hit the spot. I would definitely recommend this as an option for groups, families or just to get out for the night.
We were a party of 10 with reservations. We were seated promptly even though 1 couple was late. Drinks etc were offered Once everyone was there and orders taken things took a big slowdown It wa 90 minutes from ordering to serving. The server did apologize; but we only survived because we're good friends and had a lot to talk about.
Great place to eat and Service is wonderful!
We loved everything about this restaurant - the ambiance, food and service were excellent. It was our first visit and we will definitely go again.
Excellent as always!
Great scallops, perfectly cooked. Always love the salads. And the waitstaff is so friendly!
Solid offerings, but very average.
Excellent service always, reasonably priced, great selection of specialty drinks and a diverse menu that accommodates all palettes
Through the years, I came to associate Merighi's Savoy with family gatherings (esp for after funeral luncheons). Normally we have an impromptu dinner out at Maplewood; last Saturday Maplewood had over an hour wait, and my hubby suggested that we go to Merighi's instead of standing three deep at their small bar.
Your service gave me the info I needed to make a reservation. My son and I have celiac disease, and we need to eat gluten free. I easily made a reservation, and across town we went.
The bistro (room you enter when you walk in) was empty, save for a few tables. The waitress promptly greeted me, and seated us. Within minutes, we had water, and a huge basket of assorted breads.
Within about 10 minutes, drinks were served, and orders taken. Salad was served in a huge bowl, very tasty and fresh- more than enough for the three of us. The clams casino were without breadcrumbs, and very flavorful. The shrimp in the cocktail were very large, and tasty. The menu is pared down to classics, including local produce and dishes enjoyed by their clientele, many of which have been diners here for decades. There is something for everyone, the choices all were well described, so you can check and be sure you can eat it.
The entrees were very good, esp the Cape May chicken. My order was lump crab, in a red pasta sauce on GF pasta and arugula, cheese on top. It was terrible; the pasta was overcooked to the point that it was inedible. To please my husband, I ate what I could.
When the bus boy came and offered me a box, I refused it. Within minutes, the manager arrived, and was very concerned that my dinner was not up to snuff. (he did not charge us for the dinner). We had a talk about the proper way to cook GF pasta . Mr Merighi told me he welcomed assistance in improving his menu, including developing vegan dishes for customers.
Merighi's is a comfortable local bistro that cares very much about their diners. We will surely go and eat there again.
Amazing, fresh oysters! Best veal parmigiano anywhere....great flavor and so tender. Even the salad is delicious. The service is aways outstanding.
Had a great meal, thank you!
Very good food, and the attention by staff was great.
Excellent as always! Thank you for a great night, we were seated immediately and had a great meal!
I had passed this restaurant many times, but never stopped for dinner. I live about 40 Miles away, and usually on the way home when passing by. This past week was my wife's birthday, so we shared dinner with our best friends. Not only did they love it, we did too. Great food, reasonably priced, and wonderful service.
I'd like to thank the management of Merighi's for putting it all together to create a wonderful dining experience. Great job to management and staff.
Salmon special was excellent. The salad was crisp and chilled and as always delicious. Great service and great food.
What a find. We were at NJ Motorsports Park for an event and wanted to find a decent restaurant for dinner. There weren't many options withing 15 miles, so we decided to try Merighi's based on the Open Table reviews. It was exactly what we were looking for. Delicious, Italian comfort food in an extremely friendly environment. It's a family owned joint, and it totally shows. There is also an outside bar area that is pretty hoppin' so plan to stay for some after dinner fun! See you next year!!!!
The atmosphere was great. The restaurant itself was beautiful. Waiter checked on us frequently and I liked that. I had veal and date had rigatoni. Both great dishes. Would not mind going back there again.
Definitely will return. everyone was so accommodating. food was excellent as the service was also..real nice place..
