Relish the taste of American cuisine, craft beer and other beverages at Meridian Pint. Its menu features nachos and macaroni and cheese, as well as burgers and sandwiches. Some of its main entrées range between eggplant and zucchini moussaka, as well as pan-seared salmon and grilled rig-eyed steak. Chefs can prepare vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options on request. Visitors can also enjoy American draft and bottled beers, such as Devils Backbone Vienna Lager and Brooklyn Black Ops, from Meridian Pint's extensive selection.
With two floors, smaller and larger tables, a bar and outdoor seating, the restaurant can accommodate different types of events. It also has a pool table and several TV screens, where games can be broadcast.
Meridian Pint emphasizes environmental sustainability and serves its customers American beer in order to reduce its carbon footprint and support local producers. The restaurant also uses energy from local wind farms.
I researched a lot of restaurants before choosing Meridian Pint for our New Year's Eve dinner. I chose this restaurant because their menu showed vegan entrees for me along with meat dishes for my husband. I had the lentil/butternut squash stew which was wonderful. And this wasn't the only vegan option - there were a few others that looked equally good! My husband had fish and chips and said it was delicious. It's a young, fun atmosphere...we're not young, but we did not feel out of place. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return.
Do yourself a favor and order the pulled pork nachos. Seriously. Just do it.
Meridian Pint is a group favorite.
One our favorite places!
A great place for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. A mixed-foodie couple could be very happy here. We came for brunch and would return in a heartbeat. The Lentil burger was delicious, the choices, especially for my vegetarian wife, were expansive and well-thought out. Will return again (and again), especially for brunch.
Place was nice, service was good, and food was alright. Chicken and waffles were tasty but a bit hard to maneuver. . .other places I've frequented use boneless or make it a bit easier to consume gracefully. Side fruit was sad. My date loved his breakfast burrito though, so all in all a positive experience!
Hands down best French Toast I have ever experienced. I also tried the breakfast burrito and signature Bloody Mary and both were relish!
I went to dinner there on what happened to be a trivia night. I love trivia night! I've been there a few times before and loved it. It's a neighborhood staple. Omg especially in Sunday downstairs where the one area looks like someones living room!
I went to Merdian Pint for the first time for brunch with my toddler and some friends. Although they didn't set us up to have a high chair as requested they provided a booster seat and the service from then on was amazing. So friendly and accomondating.
Great brunch menu that includes parts of their normal menu. The lunch special included a fried egg/BLT with a side salad or fries for $10 and was delicious.
When in doubt on where to go, Meridian Pint is always a good bet.
We found Meridian Pint because my daughter was looking for someplace with good vegetarian options. This fit the bill wonderfully. With a varied menu fit for meat and non meat eaters, the entire family of 6 was very happy! The atmosphere was fun and friendly and while unfamiliar with the neighborhood until then, we will definitely be coming back!
Nice spot for brunch, more than just the usual suspects on the brunch menu. Turkey hash was very good. Very nice kids menu as well, nice nutritious selections. Nice to have steel cut oats for the little ones. Waffles were great as well.
Got my former boss off Capitol Hill to eat here with a bunch of former colleagues. They set up a large table toward the back of the restaurant, and spent some time reviewing the beer selections with my company. My boss is a beer aficionado, he was in heaven. And the burgers were great! So proud this spot is in my neighborhood!
Meridian Pint is known for its great ale and beer offerings. But, I also appreciate its vegetarian dishes, as well as other creative dishes. On this visit, they happened to have oysters on the half shell, which went well with the porter I drank. I also like the fact that you won't find any iceberg lettuce here. All of the salads are delicious, even the simplest ones. There's something for everyone here.
Outstanding selection of local and national micro-brews. Service was a little slow, but the food and drink worth the often long wait.
This restaurant in the hood is a good standard and one can expect tasty food here. However, the music inside and the flat ceilings always makes this place noisy even when there are few people. We sat outside for lunch and that was pleasant.
This is one of the restaurants in my neighborhood that I enjoy walking too.
We really looked forward to going to this restaurant but it didn't live up to our expectations. My husband ordered the rib eye sandwich. When it arrived, one-half of the sandwich was all fat. The other half was good steak. When we showed this to the waitress, she said, "Well, rib eye is a fatty steak." But there should not have been half the sandwich full of fat and inedible. So my husband ate half of a sandwich. The waitress did give him a free beer. But her attitude was less than interested, not only then, but the whole evening. We had to flag her down for the bill. The other meals were fine, not anything to write home about. Would I go back? No.
Meridian Pint is absolutely one of my favorite places to dine in DC... the food is fantastic, the beer list is stellar, and the service is nothing but friendly. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone!
We discovered your restaurant thanks to the Washington Post Beer Madness brackets! We love the 4 oz sampler options -- so many beers, so many choices! We came back this past Friday for the Old Beer weekend, and brought a sizable group. Thanks for understanding our late arrival (we called to say we were stuck in traffic and you were great) and not giving our table away! We love the ceviche, the bacon cheddar deviled eggs, the Mediterranean burger, and all the entrees.
You'd think that a brew pub would have a mediocre menu. But it is the food as much as the bar menu that keeps calling us back. I recently had the salmon with bok choy and quinoa. Yum. Oh. The spring risotto is also delish. So are the burgers. Etc. just go and start dabbling with the extensive beer menu and anything on the food menu. we haven't been anything but delighted so far.
Excellent food and a comprehensive beer list makes this a great place for folks who appreciate great food and an upbeat atmosphere.
Needless to say, their beer list is pretty illustrious: local, regional, international. Feels a little more like a gastropub than a typical bar, which I like, and the ambience is terrific - sat near the front of the restaurant with the large doors open. Decent veggie burger too, and lots of customizable options for it. Wish dessert menu was a little more developed.
We absolutely love Meridian Pint -- each meal is carefully prepared and delicious. The ambience is friendly and warm.
First time to Meridian Pint and really glad we went. Really good food - loved the bacon/cheddar deviled eggs. Great selection of beers - including a cask conditioned selection. Highly recommend to foodies and beer lovers!
1200pm on 12 April, party of two.
No question, if you're going here to eat and drink you'll find some nice variety and top notch beer list. The food was cooked to order and we left satisfied. Ribeye Sandwich for me and Pulled Pork for her and we both had sweet potatoes--all of it was very tasty.
When it takes 20 minutes to get water on the table and an additional 7 minutes to get alcohol--something is wrong. They were busy but it didn't appear there was a long wait if any. It was hard to tell if they were generally understaffed or our guy was given too many tables.
We might try it again in the future, but a similar experience with the service would seal the chances of a 3rd trip closed.
We ordered for our baby the crispy fish and it wasn't good at all. The rest of the dinner was ok.
had hoped for so much more from this place - service was so slow! and they ran out of four different beers - we went for the DC Beer Bracket challenge - and were very disappointed. Upstairs could be a cool place, but it needs some help with their service issues, downstairs is a nice sports bar area - very loud.
Nice place. Great food and great beer. Will definitely go back.
A must restaurant in DC. Delicious food, great beer, great place.
Good bar for beer. Extensive tap list plus lots of bottles. The food is solid and complements the beer list.
Meridian Pint was one of the first restaurants I tried when I moved to Columbia Heights 2 years ago, and it's still one of my favorite spots. Their burgers and wings never disappoint, and the beer selection is fantastic. I actually like their downstairs better than the main floor, but their outdoor patio is the best during the warm months. They have a great weekend brunch menu, and while it's not my personal favorite in the neighborhood it's a great spot for those who prefer a classic style brunch. It gets very crowded though, so you may want to make a reservation if you don't want to wait 45 min for a table.
love the veggie burger and the sweet potato wedges!
The place to get away and eat real food and the service is allways grand. Thank you all for a great time.
One of the best beer lists in DC. Great spot and I wish there were more places in DC like this. Staff is always super friendly, reserving the back table for groups works well, and the beer, oh the beer, delicious and diverse.
I enjoy coming here with mu husband and son for regular dinners/brunches. When our child care fell through on Valentine's day, the restaurant accommodated our son and got us in early and made our evening very special!
Meridian Pint is known for its excellent craft beer selection and it welcoming atmosphere. It did not disappoint.
Wait staff was knowledgeable about the beers but not pushy. The food was a pleasant surprise. It was way more than
bar food and each dish had some interesting feature. Rachael was particularly gracious. It was my wife's birthday and we had a great time.
Place has a great vibe and atmosphere. Food and service were both excellent. Extensive craft beer list with some nice recommendations from our server. The burgers and long list of toppings were a big hit with our group. Busy Saturday night but never felt rushed to give up our table. Will definitely be added to my favorite list.
The food was really good...the hostesses were great and let us sit before the last person in our group arrived...the service was lovely and the vibe was perfect for the night we were going for...
We came to the restaurant for the beer and were not disappointed. They had an amazing selection of beers on tap and then even more in bottles. The pleasant surprise was how good the food was. We stuck to the burgers, appetizers and fish and chips, but they were very good. The crust on the pasty was really pie crust but it was excellent. The marmalade as a side to it was an interesting and delicious choice. The desserts were also very good. Our waiter was a little hard to find when we needed another beer, but the food was brought out in a timely fashion.
