Everything that came to our table was out of this world. We'll be going back again and again!
Love the food it's amazing ..love the service ..My favorite waitress is la Colombiana she's the best.. I must say no one will regret eating here ...
The food is always amazing but this time around the service was a bit choppy. Would definitely return as it is one of my favorite places.
I'm from the Caribbean, so I know & grew up with good food. This restaurant is the truth. It DOES not disappoint. Service could have been better but the great food FAR outweighs this one factor.
I drive 45 min to come and eat here, love this place excellent food love the tres leche for desert.
Great food my only complain was the host, she was rude, they didnt ask us if we want something to drink. We got there around 9:40 pm and she told us that the restaurant its almost closing , but you guys have reservation for 9:45 that means that kitchen should be open past 10pm but other than that love this place
Gladys was extremely warm, sweet, patient and professional. Service was quick, but not too quick, so we were able to truly relax and enjoy. Live music was an unexpected treat. The singer sounded professional, my friend literally could not believe it was not a recording! A neighboring table was celebrating a BDay, and the staff & singer sung to her in English & Spanish. Nice homey touch. I paid with a Gilt voucher, and they were accommodating without any issue whatsoever. We felt we were treated like VIP.
Amazing Dominican authentic food. I would recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends.
Just delicious. Went here with my boyfriend on a recomendation from a friend, was worth it, I'd go again.
I am Dominican, and I have to say that Merengue is the best Dominican restaurant in the Boston area. We just celebrated my husband's birthday and the staff was very professional and service was great. The food was amazing....well presented, flavorful and plenty! You get the Latin flavor as soon as you walk into the restaurant. It is beautifully decorated with authentic Dominican decor. If you are looking for a great experience, you will not be disappointed.
I thought it would be tastier, but it was so dry.
What more can I possibly about this place. its amazing and I have never been disappointed.
First impressions are welcoming. The hostess made us wait with no explanation for our table even though many tables were open. The food was good, the service faire, though very slow. It was nearly impossible to get water.
The seafood paella was well seasoned but mostly rice and the bits of seafood way overcooked. Tre leche cake and yuca frieds delicious.
The big downer of the evening was the live music which was blasted from one corner of the room, two tables away from us, effectively making it impossible to converse with our table. A request to bring down the music was turned down. The music itself was nice, but we came to enjoy food and friends, not for a concert. That very much dampened the night.
3 things that I ordered were not available on a Friday night. Not sure if that is a common occurrence.
