We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere this is the second time we have been there and it was great. I would recommend it to everyone. Especially for a special occasion.
This was my first time to the restaurant - it was very good. Waiter was very attentive and the food was delicious. The portions looked huge so my husband and I decided to split the 20 oz Rib eye and each order a salad. There was plenty of food because the wedge salads were huge also. Steak was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back.

The stroganoff is usually my go to but this time I reverted back to ANGEL HAIR PASTA
madeira cream sauce, fresh mushrooms, blackened chicken breast. It was delicious and my sister ate half of it off my plate. MC used to have a cool spot right up main street off of Sundance Square but they moved to a lesser location a few blocks away where the view is a parking garage. Mature waitstaff who understand how to provide service and know when you need to get out quick for a business lunch or just relax with a glass of wine and a leisurely lunch.
Food was great and we could actually have a conversation.
While nothing was terrible about the dinner experience, I had expected a bit more. Appetizers were average, entrée good and desert marginal. While the waitstaff was efficient they lacked personal touch.
Went for a post Valentine’s dinner and this was the first time at their new location. It appears they moved all the old furniture from the old location and it is old and dated looking. Ordered a bone in ribeye and it took a long time to arrive. When it did it was a bone in filet. I said I ordered the ribeye and they apologized and said they would correct it. When they brought my new steak it was a boneless ribeye and they said they didn’t have any bone in. I cut the steak which was supposed to be cooked medium and it was well done! I sent it back and said I no longer wanted a steak as my partner was almost finished with his meal. We will not return!
It took 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Another 10-15 minutes for our waiter to visit our table. Our waiter Jaffar, had the personality of a wet sock and was not attentive at all. One of our plates was delivered cold, grabbed the nearest waiter, Javier, who took care of the issue quickly and was nice. Kudos to Javier. Jaffar never noticed the plate was missing. Food was average, service was, for the most part, unacceptable. I will stick with Bob’s and not be visiting Mercury again.
I was there with a group of six for dinner to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The service was not great, it took a while to get drinks and the waiter didn’t take our order for at least 35-40 minutes. My husband never got the salad he ordered. The food was outstanding and they did comp our third bottle of wine and my husband’s final beer because it took so long and several times of asking to get them.
Excellent food, excellent service! My group ordered the salmon, filet and pasta dish ( I cannot remember which one) and we enjoyed it all. We also shared a side of the brussel sprouts, which were very delicious, but not for someone looking to eat natural, plain brussel sprouts. I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews, but we will most definitely be back!
A mistake for Valentines. Spacing of tables was awful. No one to greet you at the door. Felt chaotic and unprepared. Valet service brought the wrong car and felt unprofessional.
Valentines dinner , place was busy restaurant seemed unprepared , 3 bartenders bar was not full but restaurant was.. got there 1.5 hrs early to have a few drinks before dinner and it was a mistake ... extremely poor service at the bar in 1.5 hrs they managed to only serve 1 drink to us and the couple next to us left in disappointment
Overall I was disappointed. The waitstaff seemed hurried and untrained. There should be a level of service expected for a restaurant of this price level. Unfortunately the service on this encounter didn't match up. The food was OK, but not great. I had the NY Strip and there was a lot of gristle on my steak. Again, when you pay a premium you should expect to get a certain quality. There are other steakhouses that are in the range and they deliver a better experience. I wouldn't go back but I am sure that there are other people who would disagree.

I can’t comment because there was so many details that were off. We had three different tables next to us that too were experiencing some difficulties getting good service. To the point we all were talking about it.
I am sure it was not normal and it was our first time here. Hopefully, it was just a busy off day.
The food was amazing as always, the service was perfect, Mike is the best server and Zach the owner always greets us with a handshake and smile. Wonderful dining experience, never disappointed at Mercury Chophouse Downtown Fort Worth.

The escargot was kind of mushy. Flavor wasn’t strong enough with garlic for my taste. It was ok. That was my only complaint. The waiter and bartender were very accommodating
Mercury is amazing, our food, service and experience was perfect.
We went on a Saturday evening and were pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere. There was a man playing piano and singing. Once we were seated and we placed our order, things went south pretty quickly. For the price of the food, it should have been considerably better. Beyond the food not matching the price, the service was the worst I've ever had at that price point.
7am reservation on a Saturday evening. Perfect getting in and seated.
The initial welcome from the server was pretty slow. I’m unsure of the reason, not busy or if it was the fact I came in with my 6 year old grandson and 2 teenagers. We weren’t the “typical” guests that evening.
We finally ordered drinks, Dr Pepper, sprite, coke and 2 bar drinks. But no Dr Pepper so we got water.
We ordered one 20 oz bone in ribeye, three 8 oz filets, and chicken strips for my grandson. Also a side of Mac and cheese and parm. fries.
The 20oz ribeye was probably the smallest I’ve ever seen. I highly doubt it was 15oz even with the bone. I did t have a scale so I can’t say for sure but I was very disappointed in the size as it barely looked bigger than the filets. those steaks were great. Family loves them.
As for the Mac and cheese. 3 people at the table tried it. It was horrible. They didn’t eat it after 1 bite each. The fries, not good either. Those weren’t eaten. As for the chicken strips and fries for my grandson. He ate the fries cause he was hungry. The chicken, tasted like it was fried with other things.
Did I mention it to my server, we were 3/4 done before he came to check on us. I did the norm, everything is fine.
We did have a birthday and our waiter did bring a delicious cake and had the piano player sing happy birthday. That was awesome.
After a while without any contact from the server after the cake, I just wanted my check to head out. I called the waiter over and just handed him my credit card.
When he returned, I looked at my bill. Remember the Dr Pepper. Well y’all didn’t have any 8oz bottles in stock. I was still charged 3.50 for the DP I didn’t get. I thought the ribeye was $48 but was charged 54.95. I could be wrong on the price. I told my wife let’s just go. I’m tired of waiting. I over paid and left a $40 tip on a $240 bill. To generous but servers never know who’s sitting at their tables. Treat everyone the same
Had dinner reservations for NYE (made a few weeks ahead of time). Dinner res for 0830pm. I felt sorry for the staff that evening. Long and short......we checked in at the desk 30mins prior to our res. Intention grab a cocktail at the bar before dinner.....I'm not one to be in a rush anyway when dining out....things happen. I get it. Around 9PM I started to inquire when we would be sitting...…not a lot of progress, but we finally got seated about 1015PM. We sat and waited......started up a conversation next to us with a couple from the bar. Their reservation was for 900PM and during our conversation their food showed up. We ordered drinks and dinner...….drinks came. Dinner never made it. Decided at 11PM to leave.....went to Uno's and had pizza. I was concerned trying something new and less established than Del Frisco's, Capital Grille or Bob's......I should have stayed with my gut and made my res with one of them. To all who are considering Mercury Chophouse.....Uno's pizza is only a few blocks away.
They had clearly overbooked for New Year's Eve and were running more than an hour behind in attempting to honor reservations. It was chaotic. The poor hostess was doing all she could but it was beyond her control.
We went for NYE on an 8:15 reservation. They were super busy but seated us by 8:30. The food was excellent. I had a USDA Prime fillet that was melt in my mouth superb. My GF had the escargot which she wants to have again soon it was so good. Drinks were great but a bit on expensive side. Service was great considering the customer load of the house.
We plan to make this our regular go-to for dining and drinks.
We had new year’s eve reservations at 8 pm and didn’t get seated until close to 9 pm. Food was good, but seems like they were understaffed on one of the most popular dining out nights of the year.
Really disappointed. We have been before and loved it, shared with others to go and after our rude waiter tonight will not be able to do so going forward. We were in tonight for our 30 year wedding anniversary and it was awful. He served me a drink in a dirty glass when I pointed it out he acted annoyed. He didn't come back and check on us throughout our meal, the service was super slow.
30 min to be seated. 10 min for a waiter to come by. 45 min to get food without waiter coming to check on us. When waiter brought food took our food to 3 different tables with customers touching our plates. When the food did get there seafood and chicken was cold. Not a very good dining at a restaurant that is supposed to be fine dining!!
We had a fantastic Christmas dinner, and we LOVE how this restaurant treats the Fort Worth Police Department. Mike was our waiter, and he was phenomenal!
This our fifth year and we always get impeccable service and food.
We will not go back. We didn’t have a dedicated server. We had to find someone to ask them to order. Our order came out wrong not once, but twice. No one checked on us. No apology for terrible service or the wrong food. For a $200 meal, go elsewhere. Very disappointing.
