Lovely staff always makes an evening more special for all!
Great lobster rolls and cod dinners.
We were entertaining out of state guests and we were not disappointed. Our hostess was wonderful and our server Kellie was helpful, friendly and efficient!
Would have been a much better experience but a very large and loud party monopolized our waitress and was very distracting. They ruined our family dinner and we just wanted to leave. The party should have been seated in a separate room. It also seemed that they should have not been served anymore alcohol as some had clearly already had too much!
Service was non existent. We had to keep asking for our waitress. Food was just ok and overpriced. Salads were missing key ingredients listed on menu and I asked three times for them and was ignored. Stay away. This is a beautiful town with a lot of nice restaurants. This one isn’t one of them.
We love this place. They never disappoint!. Food and service always great! We visit from Connecticut, so our next chance to dine there will be around the holidays. Plus they are always good at accommodating my 93 year old Mother. She is in great health, but a little slow these days. Can't wait to go back!
The food was often tasteless or loaded with salt. They seemed understaffed. Our server was handling several tables and doing the best she could. Best thing: the corn bread
Great restaurant that is hundreds of years old but kept up to date. Excellent service and food
I've been to the Colonial In a few times for dinner and the food and service have always been top notch.
The only problem was that I did not get credited with any points on Open Table.
Also how do I find out how many points I have currently.
I like Open Table and use it for a lot of resturants.
Went for Sunday brunch. Nice variety of foods - well displayed. Especially liked the omelet station and the chocolate fountain a big hit with grand kids.
The liberty Room is an historic place for lunch. Melissa is an excellent waitress who will guide you as to menu favorites!
Food was great, atmosphere great, service great!
The food was terrific, as always. Four people, four meals: lobster roll, prime rib (huge queen cut), pot roast and salmon with asparagus risotto. I had the salmon and I can only say... delicious!
Fantastic Sunday buffet brunch!!
Repeat customers who enjoy the lovely dining room, friendly and professional service, and the food.
Food very bland - lots of it but not very good. Would not go back.
Great server. Good food. Historic location. Enjoyed it. Would recommend and likely will go again
We usually stop here when visiting my mother-in-law. Since it was a hot day, we looked at some tables inside, but the AC was too cold, and there was a strong smell of fried fish/oil. As we looked for a good table on the porch, we were discouraged from sitting on one side as a solo eater was having a loud conversation on his mobile phone. Don't they have a policy that prevents that? I ordered a wedge salad expecting the traditional blue cheese, but it had a vinagraitte that wasn't tasty. My daughters hamburger had a good taste as did her sweet potato fries. I had a bite of my mother-in-law's salmon sandwich, which I didn't think was good. The iced tea was not any good, but I'm a Southerner and expect it to be freshly brewed and not made with syrup.
Great food and the gluten free dishes were really great.
Very nice meal in the historic inn. Drinks are good and service very attentive
The colonial inn is the most romantic place west of Boston. This was our anniversary. The restaurant is inside this inn dating from the 1700's but beautifully preserved. Quality of the food is outstanding as is the variety. Nothing but the best. Prices are quite reasonable. We experienced very attentive service. They ask if you want bread; say yes! It is homemade and delicious.
Extremely flexible on mix and matching the menu items. Out standing chef and Donna is one of the best servers in the industry!!!
For the past few yrs we’ve made it a July 4th tradition to attend the reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Old North Bridge and then have lunch at The Colonial Inn. It has always been enjoyable, but even more so this time. We had a lovely, attentive waitress, the dining room was moderately
full and our meals were delicious !!!
This was an expensive meal for us and our kids! Food was okay but felt we would have liked to have a la carte option which was not offered to us!
It was an 80 th birthday for my best friends sister all from NC so apologize for the initial confusion I reservations.. thanks for rectify the situation..wonderful time had by all!
Best friends birthday. Food was fabulous, our waiter was fantastic and the restaurant was so quaint. Will definitely go back.
Very good breakfast at a good price. We will be back. Did not try the buffet.
We had reservations in the merchant row but after being seated we were not approached by the wait staff for over 10 min so we left and requested a table on the balcony. It went fine from there.
This Concord mainstay is a reliable spot for traditional New England cuisine in an authentic atmosphere. Isabelle was our outstanding waitron, willing to customize any and all menu substitutions. A happy time was had by all.
My mom and I have come to this restaurant for years. I went here tonight to celebrate my birthday with my mom. We requested our favorite waiter, Bill. He makes your dining experience so fun. He’s a comical guy and is always so nice and polite.
The food is delicious! You can’t go wrong with any item on their menu! Their prime rib is the best.
Lovely setting and delicious, as always. Had the Cobb Salad for lunch. It was crisp and fresh.
I thought it was going to be more special
Thought We were put in corner near waiter stand
Food wasn’t bad, just bland. Very nice waitress and quick service.
It was s very enjoyable experience, the food was excellent, and the service quite good. There's always room for improvement and that's why I didn't give it five stsrts
Good food, very New England feel in the dining room. Great service!
Got seated on arrival at a table that was best for us. Wait staff came quickly. We liked our food selections- fish and chips, fruit salad turkey sandwich with dressing mushroom soup. Would return for lunch.
Very good! Haven’t been here in a while. Great menu, delicious food at reasonable prices, fantastic ambiance. Will definitely be going back.
We had a great time! And made it to the play on time.
Service was fine if amateurish. Roast beef ordered med-rare arrived well. Potatoes were room temp, beans were inedible due to over use of garlic.
It’s an historic place. I go every 18 years. Food doesn’t change.
This was a special dinner for my husband’s birthday!
Beautiful spot in Concord to take a walk around, have lunch and just take in the ambiance of an old Inn.
