An excellent value for the quality and flavor of food. Great steak place that included everything in the cost of the meal!
Walked in at opening time. Didn’t need our reservation. Sat right down. Greeted immediately. Our server was great! Brought us water, ordered some wine. Arrived quickly.
We ordered steak, lobster, etc. food was great! Cooked perfectly.
Pricey for downtown Renton but tasty. We’ll be back.
AMAZING service! Food was pretty good, the dessert was phenomenal! Was seated at this awkward table, but otherwise it was nice!
The food was great, the staff all seemed to work together very well - they were actually happy far beyond just acting for a tip. It was a little loud for an anniversary, but would be perfect for a birthday or other celebration.
Had a great dinner. Ribeye is aways a perfect choice... medium rare, slightly Chicago style.. yum!
Our waitress was outstanding, she really made the night perfect....thank you!
Awesome food as usual wish it was not so hard to drop in and have a meal here or I would be back sooner
We can’t get over our dinner (again-the BEST)! Compliments to the Chef; we are still smiling and shaking our heads how amazing our dinners were! We will be back - soon!
I never would have thought that the best steak I've ever had would be at a little place in Renton, Washington. Excellent food, wonderful service. Interesting menu specials. Worth the trip to Renton.
Amazing food. Very noisy with all the tables crammed into such a small area. I deal with the noise only because the food is so good.
Melrose Grill never disappoints! Love the food, service and atmosphere! We recommend this restaurant to friends all the time. Just remember to make reservations as you will wait awhile just walking in.
We celebrated our anniversary by having dinner here. The steaks were done to our liking. They were very tender and flavorful. The king crab legs were fresh and decadent served simply steamed with butter and lemon. The drinks were large pours and quite well-made and refreshing. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will likely be back again when in town.
This place has amazing food. Worth the price. I have been there a few times and have always had a good experience. I would recommend booking a reservation far in advanced.
Best steak I have ever had! I never knew a steak could be so mouthwateringly tender.
Always amazing experience with superb execution and service. Why go into downtown Seattle ? I come from Mill Creek.
Always a great meal. Never had a bad time. Thanks Melrose Team. We will always be back.
Best steaks in Seattle. We frequent this place over Metropolitand and Capital Grill. When in season the Buffalo steak is the best.
We were given a "gift certificate" for the Melrose Grill for our 50th Wedding Anniversary and we were highly impressed. We've lived in Seattle for 70 + years and have never been here before. Delicious food and great service.
Hands down best steak we have ever eaten. Can not recommend them enough!
My girlfriend and I enjoy going to Melrose Grill. Their service is Fantastic. Their steaks are out of this world. Once you're had the best there's no where else to go
The atmosphere is cozy and unique
We are never disappointed
We have eaten there for years and never been disappointed. Never.
Great food at a great price
We showed up at our time for our table and was directly sat down! Great steaks!
Hubby and I love this place because their steaks are amazing, the price is reasonable, and the vegetables, salad, bread, and potatoes are included. I almost always go for the filet mignon, which tender and tasty as can be. I'm also always too full for desert so I order a cheesecake to go, because it too is amazing. Love this place and you will too!
Eaten here many times and by far best food and best value for the money. hands down beats all the big name steak houses in Seattle or Bellevue. NY was tender and cooked to perfection and dont miss out on the parmeson potatoes! All deserts are great too.
Staff was great and our server, I believe her name was Lisa, was very knowledgeable with specials, wine selection and history of Melrose.
Melrose has the best steak in the northwest - it’s a destination for when you want a flawless filet
We had a great time. We ordered two porterhouse steaks. It was our first time there. It was smaller than we thought it would be. We were seated between two big groups. But overall the experience was great. The service was knowledgeable and prompt. We had a great time
It was our Anniversary and had a good time, However, our server was not attentive and people around us got their food before us. We had ordered before them. My husband's meat was a little tuff. Thank you
It was delicious! I had grilled duck breast - something I had never had. I decided to order that based on our server’s recommendation. And it was exactly what she said it would be. She was knowledgeable about what she was serving. We had excellent service from her as well as all the other staff. The only small drawback - it is very small & crowded so getting a table is difficult (make a reservation!) & walking around must be done carefully. But our table was comfortable for the 2 of us (some 2-tops we’ve been at are really too small for 2 people ordering several items. But this wasn’t.)
The food is incredible! The menu is very small but definitely worth it. Plan on spending at least $150 for 2. We were so full that we could not even get desert.
The staff was kind but they seems to be bumping into each other all the time and they were almost running around us. It was a busy night with all the tables full.
They don't open until 4pm for dinner only.
We absolutely loved this restaurant! Fresh food, great wine and friendly service!
We went to Melrose for a late Valentine dinner. Our server was awesome...kind, positive, attentive and very pleasant. Our steaks were amazing and the accompaniments were okay. I prefer my veggies just a little more tender and my skewered prawns were actually charred on one side. But all in all it was a great meal.
Excellent food and staff! Only been there twice and each time had a wonderful time...
Best steak I've ever had. Service is amazing. Friendly environment.
Very tasty, good service
Great food, great service, alright price. I've ate at steakhouses that are comparable for less.
I made reservations, but ended up waiting 15 mins to be seated. Was not happy with the wait.
Went to the Melrose for our anniversary and enjoyed one of the best steaks I've ever had! My wife had the salmon and she said it was perfect. I would highly recommend the Melrose but make a reservation as it is small and seating is limited.
Steak was great. Rack of Lamb tasted great, but was tough. Even the steak knife had a hard time cutting the meat. /Service was spot-on.
Our experience this time was not very nice. The first complaint I had was the noise level. Insane. A large group (from comcast) next to us was treating the place like they were the only ones the. Basically yelling at eachother. Their server was encouraging it. I couldn't hear my wife speaking. I couldn't hear our server. I cost even hear my own voice at times. It was ridiculous.
The second complaint I have is that I ordered king crab legs with my steak. 18 dollars for two legs...seems pricey but whatever. But what isn't okay is that when I got them and I creaked open the biggest piece, I found the meat inside just wrecked. They cut the shell for me...but I'm guessing that when they did that, the blade of the saw or whatever went inside and ruined it. There was almost none left. I told the waitress. Her response "let me go see if I can do something" I'm thinking you better be able to get me a new one. She eventually got me a new plate, but it was all chopped up. I saw 4 different tips. They clearly had the same problem with the new crab legs they were bringing me and "solved" the pproblem by giving me the ends of four separate legs. Obviously that is not ideal. They should have said, sorry all our legs are like this, we will take that off your bill.
All in all, it was not what I was hoping for at all. I would have enjoyed myself at outback or something way more.
The steak was good though.
