Great quality, great service, great food
I love going to the Melange! If only the parking in downtown Ann Arbor could be a bit better....
The meal was amazing. Eve and her team has done a wonderful job bringing their style and cuisine to this venue. The ginger lime martinis are perfect and the food was delicious.
The new menu (Eve) is a significant improvement. I had been several times, but was not overly impressed with the menu. I came back to see how Eve changed things, and now, I will be back much more often.

Fantastic service and really enjoyed the menu updates. If you haven't tried Melange in a few mos it's worth another try with the new menu updates from the Chef at Eve. Ambiance is good, but I feel it lacks something really special. It's now a bit updated but feels more. I used to enjoy how dark and romantic it was and now it seems the lights are on a bit too bright. Overall enjoyed it though.
We were drawn in by the redesigned menu, but the food did not live up to the descriptions.
The simple fish, described as seared with lime and green chilies, was delivered, significantly overcooked and coated in chili powder.
The vegetables had the opposite problem. I was reminded, as I bit into an undercooked brussels sprout, that I am overdue for a dental appointment.
The server was friendly and helpful when she arrived, but we had to wait for a surprisingly long time for our first point of contact. Our water had already been filled up to or three times before we saw her.
Too bad. I really wanted this to be part of our regular A2 dining experience.
The new menu by Eve is excellent! I had many good choices to pick from, and all the dishes were tasty and satisfying. I loved the Duck Confit Nachos!

We were disappointed by the over seasoned carrot soup. The color was an unappealing brown and it did not taste at all like fresh carrots, it tasted more like mole sauce. The duck confit nachos were stop sweet and not have any heat to them. The Spanish eggs were all one texture- smooth and soft. It needed some crunch or different texture. Again the spices were strange. The best dish was the mushroom spaccetelli. This seems like an amateur chef trying to mix unusual tastes and failing. Sorry. The tres leches was also good. The place has a nice ambiance and was quiet enough to talk, probably because there were only 6-8 other diners. Bring back the old menu, or something more like Pacific Rim. This menu is not very fulfilling from a gourmand’s perspective.
Lovely experience. Excellent food. The best Sushi in Ann Arbor, candle light dining and quiet enough to hear for a good conversation.
Our only concern was that one appetizer and two entrees were not served warm enough. It was Restaurant Week, so we let it go considering how busy everyone was. The food was excellent overall except for that. Eve's touch is clearly in evidence.
Went with my wife during restaurant week. Wonderful food and experience. The wait staff was very polite and considerate.

The food was excellent, interesting, spicy, not fatty or greasy, very tasty and innovative. Turns out that Eve Aronoff has influence over the menu and I love her cuisine. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good food. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
Went for Restaurant Week. We have been to many area restaurants over the years for Restaurant Week and this was the BEST meal we have had during this occasion. Sea bass was excellent as was the carrot purée. Well worth the money. Will definitely be returning soon.

The food for the restaurant week is terrible, and the portion of each dish is so small. My friends and I left the restaurant hungry. I won't visit this restaurant again.
