Medusa's food is outstanding!

Our service was okay. But found the table presentation to be very poor need to improve!!! Let's start with salt and pepper mills for those who may wish to add a little extra after that 1st bite. Also a larger candle would be appreciated.

We had a great time with wonderful food. The Chef's Choice was the way to go and our server, Fransisco brought it out on a platter - family style. Our server was excellent. He knew answers to our questions, made great recommendations and was a very personable guy.

The only thing I need to bring up - especially for those who require a wheelchair. Know that you will need to get up one stair to get in the back dining room. My buddy was able to lift me up the relatively small step. But, the restrooms are not wheelchair accessible. I was unable to get into a stall because everything in the bathroom was so tight. This was the only downside of the evening. Otherwise, we had a great night!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals here. I had the lamb chops and my husband had the trout/lobster combination. We started with the grilled octopus and it was fabulous. The sides were plentiful and we shared a peanut butter cheesecake dessert. Service was great and the waiter was attentive without being intrusive. Would definitely recommend making a reservation as there is not a lot of seating in the restaurant.

The customer service was great! I had the pleasure of being the first reservation that evening, so it was still quiet and I was able to really appreciate the decor and atmosphere. The dining area is nice and classy, then it abruptly jumps to the view inside the kitchen. It's cool if you like to watch the chef and his crew get down, but it kinda changes the romantic vibe. I ordered the chef's special which is kinda hit and miss. The scallop was divine, the salmon was delish, then things took a turn. The greek chicken with tzatziki was great, but it seemed to overpower everything else. The kabob tasted like steak with tzatziki (not bad, but I think can see where I am going). The Italian sausage with Pomodoro tasted out of place (it probably is great on its own. The lobster. That's where the record scratched. It was just char-flavored texture by the time my taste buds got to it. I was sooooo disappointed. I absolutely LOVE lobster, and thought I was saving the best for last. I went to the fish market the next day and bought 4 tails to steam. But nothing against the chef. He actually checked in for a quick review. One thumb up, and one down. The scallop, I swear I would just eat a plate of those and be in heaven. I think the flavors just compete rather than compliment each other. I would go there, but order something else.

Friendly, helpful staff. Vibrant, local feel. A couple of "loud" folks, but it was a Saturday night, and mostly just comfy and fun. LOVE the camera over the chef's stove broadcasting live to the TV! Varied menu, wonderful & unique specials. Well done, Chef!

We have gone several times and always have had great food and service! My husband loved his food. Our service was great! Unfortunately I should have said something that night but didn't. There was a finger nail clipping in the appetizer and I ordered surf and turf. Lobster was awesome my filet was rare and cold inside which I had ordered medium. When I sent it back it came back deeply char broiled and that's all I could taste. When you are paying over $50.00 you don't expect this.

Medusa is a rare gem in the bistro style of Mediterranean cuisines. Chef Greg runs the place with an expertise uncommonly found. He cooks everything from scratch and mans the kitchen as the executive chef. His front of the house manager Jay McNulty is exceptional with service and his wine knowledge is excellent. The servers are experienced professionals and all of these components come together to create one of the best dining experiences in the country. One of the absolute best restaurants in the USA.

I didn't give 5 stars, because 3 of us ordered filet and two of the steaks were not prepared correctly. The restaurant fixed the mistake and went above and beyond. Lobster was amazing. Service was top notch. I expected some sort of potato with the surf and turf. Mushy greens underneath gave the filet an earthy taste which I was not a fan of.

Service was great from the start, as it was our first time Scot walked us through the menu and the specials and made sure we knew what was available and how everything was prepared. The food was great as well. Sea Bass and Scallops were cooked to perfection!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Geneva Lake area. However, my last experience had just a few glitches. Our very pricey lamb chops were tough and chewy with very few bites without grizzle. My sister ordered them also and she had the same problem. Also, I made my reservation a week or more in advance and we were seated right next to the front door on a cold night. So everytime someone came in or out, which was every few minutes, we were hit with a blast of arctic air! So not to pleasant But still my favorite place to go. I just won't order lamb and ask not to be put next to front door.

Had a friend and business partner in from out of town. There are few creative and upscale cuisine offering locations in Walworth County, let alone Lake Geneva. Ambiance fits well for both a romantic evening out or showing a friend a good time. Prices for the entrees are still a little steep, but barely. Worth a visit.

My husband and I were looking to try something new to celebrate our first year anniversary and found Medusa online. It looked cozy and romantic and the menu was appealing so we made our reservation. When we arrived we were not disappointed. The food was delightful and the service was fantastic! We will definitely go back. We've already spread the word to others.

I made a reservation but they placed us in the back room. The lightning was terrible, our table was in the corner and no one else was in our section. Both fish entrees we ordered were very dry.

Anyting Chef Gregory prepares is magnificent! It doesn't matter what you order, it will be perfect. The food is always seasoned beautifully, his soups are to die for. Be sure to order the Chef's Choice and let him choose for you. It's the best! The drinks are fantastic. It's easily the best food in Lake Geneva.

This place is obviously popular. We had a 5:15 reservation and by 6:00 the place was packed, with the noise level escalating accordingly. Would have expected more Mediterranean style entrees, so although disappointed in that area what we did have ( risotto, rainbow trout, lobster) was excellent. Table for four where we were seated stuck out in the way of the entrance, with the cold air blowing in every few minutes as the place filled up. Somewhat pricey. Service kind of slow.

We love Medusa and have celebrated our last 4 Valentine dinners here. We feel the portions are right and everything is always so tasty. We always have exceptional service too. This is one of our very favorite places. We drive 50 minutes to enjoy an evening at Medusa.

We have been to Medusa's many times and each and every time our meals have been excellently prepared and served. Meat, seafood, sides, soups, appetizers, everything is superb. This is one of our most favorite restaurants. Whether you are visiting or live near the Lake Geneva area you should put this on your list of 'go to' restaurants.
