I made a reservation here for my moms birthday. The food and service were very good. They give you bruschetta which is very tasty and a lovely bread basket with yummy focaccia, grissini and regular bread. We split a Greek salad. Mom and I both had the frutti di mare. Husband asked them to make chicken parm. They gave my mom free tirimasu and lemoncelo for her birthday. We also got profiteroles and another beverage. Oh and a bottle of wine. The whole meal was under $200 which I found very reasonable. Service was excellent. My only complaint is it’s loud. I would definitely recommend this place.

We enjoyed another nice meal at Mediterraneo on an unusually quiet Wednesday night. It rained heavy so many customers I’m sure were likely no shows for their reservations, which if true, is very unfortunate for the business. Our meal was generally spot on, seafood mixed grill special was good but not exceptional. Thanks for an enjoyable experience as we introduced our visiting niece to Sarasota.

The food was delicious, one of the most authentic Italian restaurant in Sarasota continues to prove itself over and over as the best in class. The service was efficient but our server was grumpy and never smiled. He may have been having a bad day but he seemed put off to be working. Other servers that we have had are amazing and we unfortunately got a bad apple.

We love this restaurant! Food was spectacular, as usual, as was the service. It was my husband’s birthday, and they brought out a delicious, complimentary tiramisu with a candle in it…how thoughtful. And I love the newly covered outdoor patio! It was great in blocking the wind on a blustery evening.

This is one of our all time favorites in Sarasota. The service is top notch, they have a nice wine selection at reasonable prices, and they really know Italian food. And Bruno is a master pizza maker, so somehow fit in one of his artisan pizzas.

Just found out. We spent 700 on dinner and we were there for 2 nights in a row and dinner was 900 the night before! We went again 2nd night cause our guests guests and us enjoyed it so much the night before: we specifically changed all our plans that evening to accommodate having dinner really early and then going to our home to watch the game thats how Invested we are , in our team… we are season ticket holders years now and love it…… feels really bad to be treated so poorly 🫤. Doesn’t say anywhere on the menu that your not allowed to enjoy yourself and have a good time…

I was asked to leave by a server. My husband and I had dinner with friends here as we have many many times, on the way out we all stopped in the bar area to watch the NHL playoffs that were being broadcast on the TV, well, I woo hooed my team scoring and apparently that upset some uptight person and the server working that section literally walked up to me and said “you have to leave, your bothering my section”. Meanwhile I just spent $600 on dinner and was extremely upset and embarrassed that this guy had the nerve to say this to me. Very upsetting, So, we hopped in our Bentley and waved goodbye. I will never dine here again, I only support businesses that appreciate my patronage 👎

We had a super nice experience at this Sarasota jewel. It's a casually elegant spot, with beautifully prepared food, a convivial bar area, and good service. We also appreciated its location at the east end of downtown Sarasota, which is accessible. There was a fee associated with the bread offerings, something we experience in Europe, though not often in the States. While not a disappointment (it was delicious), it would be helpful to know that customers have to pay for it unless they decline it. The semifreddo dessert was a real treat, and our kind server even made fresh decaf for us. We will return!
