Small and intimate- amazing food. Great place for date night. Sam, the owner, always make us feel welcome and at home.
Great and fast service. Seafood couscous is a must! Very convenient to AAC or other downtown locations.
The owner greeted us at the door with a warm welcome. Our waiter was very attentive. It's a smallish restaurant that is very comfortable. Great menu including cocktails, and everything we ordered was terrific and very authentic.
Food was great!
Cocktail list had too many sugary sweet drinks. When the owner/manager dropped off our drinks he reeked of cigarettes. Right before a concert there was only one server on. We had to flag him down for more drinks, dessert, and the check. Food was pricey for the portions. I think two lamb chops with no sides was $30. Also I had my first cold creme brulee in my life. That was a disappointment. Wine was a little vinegary.
Enjoyed an amazing dinner with a party of 12. The restaurant was very accommodating and the food is delicious. The restaurant is fairly small so I would recommend reservations. I will definitely be back.
Excellent food! We went to Medina before a Stars game. Service was equally excellent. Our server recommended some appetizers and entrees and everything was delicious! We will return!
Sam runs the best Morraccon restaurant in the US. You will not be disappointed.
Exceptional food, atmosphere and service... will frequent more often
Medina is my favorite new restaurant for many reasons, starting with the food! I’ve had the shrimp skewer, Medina salad, and the sea bass and all were delicious! It’s fun to split things with a friend, because you’ll want to try as many dishes as possible. The sea bass tagine was perfectly cooked and the recipe was so different from most restaurants, loved the tomato broth and potatoes it was cooked with! The shrimp brochette was also cooked perfectly, it tasted like wood grilled. The Medina salad is simple, but a delicious dressing brings out the taste of the lettuce. (I always love a restaurant that doesn’t use too much dressing.) I’ve also had the smoked eggplant appetizer, which is similar to an olive tapenade, and it was so tasty but the portion was pretty small. There was 3 times the pita with it than here was spread to cover it, but it was only $6. I wouldn’t mind paying a bit more for a larger serving. Like everything else, though, it was so good! Lastly, the cocktails are reasonably priced and I keep coming back for the Med-rim margarita which must have fresh squeezed grapefruit in it...delish!
Last but not least, the service is always kind and perfectly timed, never intrusive, and the low lighting and cozy atmosphere is wonderful.!This is just a great place all around.
Great food. Great service
Wonderful service! Our server Justin was the best! The special tonight was a Chilean sea bass over a bed of risotto. It was delicious!!!!
Love it!!! A must try!. The ambiance is wonderful. The culinary art is outstandingly amazing. This food is so fresh and the taste and presentation is off the charts. The owner Sam is so welcoming, making sure from beginning to end that we were satisfied. Erasmo our server, was super attentive. He gave great recommendations and presented the food with pride. We will definitely visit again. Whether it's a special occasion or just a night out, you will be glad you made the choice to visit.
Great service! They accommodated vegans in the group. The owner is very kind and the food outstanding. Love the Moroccan wine too.
This was our second visit to Medina Oven & Bar. This time, we had a group of eight to celebrate two birthdays before heading to the Stars game. Super fun decor. Friendly and helpful staff who patiently explain menu items and offer recommendations. Food...so good. Flavorful without over powering. We will be back.
Great service and food. Glad we had reservations, it gets busy.
Excellent service and the food was amazing.
Wonderful place, reliably good food and wonderful people.
Best Moroccan/Middle Eastern I've had in Dallas. Roasted eggplant with pitas was delicious. Salads were a generous size, fresh and creative. The sauteed calamari was perfectly cooked and had the tomato sauce had a nice bit of heat. Both the beef tenderloin and chicken & apricots served in tagines were superb, although I'd have liked a little more apricot sauce with the chicken. Nice atmosphere and background music. Attentive service.
We came here for my wife’s birthday. I never had the pleasure of eating Moroccan food. It is excellent food! We were a party of six. The decor, hospitality and ambience all top notch. The food was completely satisfying. Never experienced tea like at Medina. Reasonably priced. The music, service all super.
Love this place. Sam is great. Greets everyone and takes time to actually visit with you to see how your dining experience is going.
Wonderful, fresh, authentic Middle Eastern food, very tasty and wonderful service. Also a great location.
Service was attentive, but not overly so. Food was tasty and filling. I enjoy visiting this restaurant.
The new brunch menu is FABULOUS! Our waiter was excellent as well. Great food and great service! I will definitely be back!
This was our first time here. Great food service and drinks. Would highly recommend to everyone.
Had a great dinner at Medina - delicious cocktails, tasty meal, lots of options, fun atmosphere, and very importantly AWESOME staff. Sam and his employees truly make you feel welcomed.
Food and service are consistently good, and they have interesting specials every night. The staff are friendly and know all the regular customers and go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience. Their patio is dog friendly and a great place to sit on a nice evening.
Always love Medina Oven. We have been coming here for a few years and always have a great time with excellent food and service!
The restaurant is quaint in size with lovely decor. You really need a reservation if you want to dine there due to table limitations. My husband and I enjoyed our dining experience and look forward to going back! The Moroccan Syrah glass of wine that I ordered was delightful! My husband ordered the Calamari salad and it was delicious. They serve it warm, a nice surprise.
EXCELLENT food! First time. Nothing bad to say about this place at all. Food was amazing and very authentic. Wait staff was friendly very helpful with menu. Will definitely be back, HIGHLY recommend!!!
This is our first time. It was a very pleasant surprise. It was worth it to go all the way to downtown. Service was very friendly.
My wife and I were in Dallas for our 28th wedding anniversary. We were staying close to this restaurant and noticed the good reviews. Food was great and not too heavy. Service was also great. WE will definitely be back next time we are in Dallas.
We were attending a concert at AAC... very convenient to walk from the concert arena... great specialty drinks... fresh pita and to die for hummus!!! All our entrees were delicious ... waiter was friendly and efficient
Excellent Mediterranean food. The platter of appetizers was so delicious!
Very good Moroccan food! The service was top notch and the ambiance was great! Will definitely go back!
Just a great place for dinner. Check out the wine from Ethiopia. Seriously good wine.
Expect exceptional food and attentive experinced staff in a smaller personal setting
This is the second time I visited and it was outstanding. I had the shrimp and scallops and thought they were great and everyone in my group enjoyed their meal
As always the food was saberb. And Sam was so gresious and warm. We have been going there for years and truly feel it is a Dallas find.
We went for a jump start for our 1 year anniversary, before the One Republic concert and it was great. The food and drinks were delicious. We will be back.
