Amazing rich food
The food and ambience were amazing!!! Hands down one of my favorite restaurants.
Very under staffed which caused a delay in placing order.
Fantastic food… solid service.. can’t wait to go again..
Love the food and service.
Such a fun place. Food is great and it's almost like a local neighborhood handout. Very authentic Moroccan vibe.
I love this place since forever!!! I have referred many people over the years. The food is delicious and the staff is always the best. The things that were lacking on my last visit (a few weeks ago) was….no music, no temperature control, and fruit flies were everywhere. Hopefully, these small issues will be addressed and temporary 🙏.
One of the BEST experiences we have ever had in all of our travels. The food was absolutely amazing, and Suzanna, the owner was one of the nicest people we have every met!
Have been going there for 10 years, the menu is the same, as the dishes stand the test of time, love the phyllo cigar's, Pizza's are all wonderful, can;s say I have had a dish I have not liked. RIP, Sam your family is carrying on your dream.
I went to Medina for date night and had an amazing time. It's a quiet and intimate space and the food is amazing! The service was great as well.
Not what we expected, but a very pleasant surprise! Food was great. Would love to go back.
Inviting staff, great ambiance, and good food adds up to great dining experience.
Food is amazing and setting is very nice. Loved everything I have tried on the menu.
Walked in, greeted & seated quickly. Got waters fast. Then the wheels came off.
Waited 15 mins, tried to flag down folks, no one stopped or came by…patience expired so we left…no one noticed.
Looked like a cool spot. Unfortunately poor experience means basically no chance of going back.
Incredible meal. Can’t wait to go back. Highly suggest getting the sea bass.
We always enjoy Medina — the food is very good, and the service is friendly. However, service was just a bit off the night we dined. Asked for salt and pepper three times - never received it. Asked for a bourbon and soda - received a tequila and soda. Asked for another glass of wine - never received it. Will it stop us from dining there again? Absolutely not! The food and friendliness outweigh these minor issues.
Wonderful food and good service and nice patio to enjoy a meal,
Amazing food, fantastic service 👍
We made a reservation to sit outside, but the host didn't recognize the reservation. He placed us outside, which was nice, although the only table he offered us was at the entrance even though most was open (he claimed a big party was coming, so I understood and had no problem). But then, not much else happened. The host gave us our menus and a busser ( waiter?) our waters. We tried to ask the busser if he could take our order but he said he'll get someone for us. The waitress then ignored us. She talked to all of the other diners (only three other parties, all in pairs) but we weren't even acknowledged. She kept her back to us and never once approached our table. Perhaps it wasn't her area, but maybe just let us know because she was the only one there? Every other worker was inside. We wore our masks and we were friendly and kind to everyone we interacted with, we made no demands, and the place wasn't 'slammed' with business, so I am at a loss what we did to deserve being ignored like that. All that was needed is her to say, I see you. We felt rejected, so we walked away about ten minutes after getting the waters without having ordered anything. I looked forward to eating here and am really disappointed in the weird vibe - it felt as if we didn't belong. And we've been downtowners since the 1990s.
Fantastic food experience. The food was prepared quickly and was perfectly flavored and cooked.
Great food but a poor service performance for multiple tables around us. We did not see our waiter again after placing our order. Service seemed to be chaotic and they brought our entrees out twice while other tables had to ask to check on their food. We had to ask the food runners and hostess multiple times for our check. They seemed overwhelmed by their proximity to AAC and not prepared to handle their capacity. That being said, the food was fantastic and it was so nice to enjoy the patio. I would consider them again on an evening where there were no large events.
The food is delicious and the cultural ambience is very cool. The waitstaff is friendly though too laid back and seem to only focus on the larger tables. We were there an hour before we even got our wine. We understand that restaurants are understaffed these days but they were unapologetic for long waits and never picked up a single dish from our table. We didn't have a bad time...it was just a 3 hour experience that should have been half of that. Waitstaff were not wearing masks. I highly recommend the restaurant but be prepared for longer than usual wait times.
First of all let me say that we love this place. The food is first class and the service is (usually) great.
On our latest visit however, a very noisy group of 20-25 people came in about halfway through our meal. The service we were getting was suddenly nonexistent as the wait staff concentrated on the large party. I had to ask 3 times for our drinks to be refilled and our dessert order never materialized, so we paid our tab and left.
I am sure this was a one off incident and we will definitely return, but maybe they need to rethink seating such large parties if it means neglecting their other customers.
Great food drink and ambiance. Everything I’ve had was excellent.
I do wish they had a chicken, beef or lamb pastilla. I’ve only seen seafood pastilla on the menu.
Medina is always a wonderful place to have an enjoyable dinner whether you are eating light before a performance or having a leisurely meal. The menu is varied--appetizers, salads, pizzas, tagines. The service is quietly unobtrusive, and the decor and music make for a pleasant dining experience. You can actually talk to the people you are with.
Slow service. Ignored for about 20 minutes before taking order.
Waited another 30 minutes to ask for water and the drinks we ordered. Food arrived 10 minutes later and was cold.
The people in the adjacent table got up and left the service was so poorly.
Will not be returning.
We loved it! This was our first time to dine at Medina and the waitstaff was so welcoming and hospitable. The waiter went over the menu and made great recommendations. The food was delicious. My husband had the lamb and it was tender and so flavorful. My chicken tangine was also wonderful. We were almost 30 minutes late for our reservation but they were very gracious. Needless to say we were a little frazzled trying to find parking, but we were so glad we made it. We are looking forward to returning and trying more of the menu.
Delicious food. Smaller than I thought, but great service.
Love the atmosphere ! Food is amazing !
Authentic, fresh food. Highly recommend. We can’t wait to return.
Beautiful restaurant with incredible food and service. Cocktails were very creative and tasted amazing. Definitely needs to be on everyone's list when dining downtown Dallas.
I had a wonderful meal with 2 friends. We shared the Cheese Cigars for our appetizer. One of my friends and I split the Seafood Pastilla and the the Lamb couscous. They were both delicious.
We sat on the patio which was very comfortable and shaded, although a little warm.
The service was excellent.
We always have a great experience and enjoy the food
Hidden gem here. Made a special trip here for our anniversary, and this restaurant never disappoints. Great food, relaxing atmosphere. Well worth the drive into Dallas.
Great food and setting.
Food is absolutely incredible. Service was so kind and the atmosphere was very cool.. I just wish the dining area was air conditioned. It was uncomfortably warm in the Dallas heat. For this reason, I’d come back but only in the winter.
Fabulous. Always sublime at Medina. Chicken kabob and Marrakesh delish. ❤️
Great spot in Victory Park. Food was very good. Very tender chicken kababs and the goat cheese cigars were delish. Make a reservation. Spots fill up quick.
Really great food at a great price with some unique dishes not found anywhere else in the area. Will go back regularly!
