Medina Oven & Bar
This is such a cozy spot, and the owner Sam greets everyone and makes them feel welcome. Our service was great and the food was wonderful. We had the beef “cigars” , chicken skewers and an assortment of all their dips. It was a great spot to be catching up with old friends!
I thought the food was outstanding. Chicken Tangine was memorable. Service attentive and decor was warm and authentic. Only complaint was the loud Fez music became annoying during a business lunch.
Second time here in a month. Great food and service! Elegant food with personal involvement by the owner.
Great food + great service = amazing dinner with friends!
Had a great time as usual. Traffic was very messed up due to a storm, but they held our table...
I love the food--baklava was not the best. The hummus is great. The owner greeted us and offered wine tastings to help us select the best wine to go with our food. The waitress was a bit overwhelmed, but kept up with a little help from another waiter and the owner. Very gracious owner and staff.
We were warmly greeted by the waitress upon our arrival. She made some excellent food suggestions that were enjoyed by all of us. The cigar beef and shrimp were our appetizers that was accompanied with a sauce for each. The lamb was seasoned to perfection and was delicious. The scallops and shrimp served over pasta was another excellent choice. We look forward to returning in the future. The owner personally welcomed us. We highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed.
Small charming restaurant with nice decor. Interesting menu and food was great
Perfect pre-game meal before heading to AAC for a Stars game. food and drinks are excellent. Kebab plates are a perfect meal, much healthier than anything at the stadium. Carpet ride is my favorite cocktail and my daughter loves the mint ice cream. Will go there again in the future for a pre-game meal.
Great food and service. Wife and I could not have been more pleased. My wife had the special, sea bass, and I had the Pastilla. Nice atmosphere. Very close to the AAC for a pre-game or post-game meal or drink.
Incredible experience. I can’t wait to come back. Everything was perfect and the food was amazingly well done.
It is a small place so making reservations is recommended. The food was wonderful - fresh and tasty. We ordered the skewers since it was our first time and they were perfect. It was a very nice place and we will definitely come back.
Service was good. Food was great. Will visit again.
The food was very good. Liked the martinis on the "sexy drink" list. It is a nice, comfortable place. Very convenient before an event at the AAC.
As always Medina does not disappoint! Great food, cocktails, music and ambiance. Two thumbs up!
Loved the environment, a little small but great food! Would definitely eat here again.
Cool decor and good food, but they missed the mark. The restaurant is decorated nicely of Moorish influence but that ends where the dining experience begins. The tables and seating are just plain, unlike a true Moroccan dining experience. The food is good, but not great which makes the value average given the location. There is better Moroccan food in Dallas.
Incredible food - excellent service. This is really one of the best hidden gems in Dallas. It also has one of the worst locations in Dallas - it is in between Buzzbrews and the pizza place in Victory Park. The owner, Sam, came by to say hi and made sure our night was special. Charlie, who was assisting our server, was incredibly gracious and helpful. Such a great place and not too expensive. I wish I could eat here 5 nights a week!
Best food service. Sea bass was awesome and love the salads and veggies
I have been here many times. The food is fantastic. The place is small and intimate and parking is easy in the area.
We went for my wife's birthday and we both LOVED it. The food was delicious, the wine was amazing, the service was fantastic and the ambiance is very intimate and personal. It's perfect for a date night or special occasion.
The only real downside was our group of 6 was charged mandatory 20% gratuity. Not written on the menu to inform guests. 6 is too small a group for a mandatory charge and 20% should be saved for the best service not the base standard and I say that as someone who has spent much of his life in the restaurant business.
Food was very good. Delicious salads. Both the chicken with lemon and olives and chicken with apricots were great. I appreciated the portion size... not too big, not too small... just right.
The parking for this restaurant was an unwelcome challenge. For single women meeting for dinner, walking blocks to parking was not cool and not safe.
If we go again, I would try UBER.
Outstanding atmosphere, food and service! We were pleasantly surprised to find Moroccan food in Dallas so close to the hotel. Everything we ate was delicious.
When I travel to Dallas, Medina is always on the list of places to eat. The food is amazing and the wait staff truly competent.
What an intimate ambiance, perfect for date night!
The food is average, to below average. The tangine chicken, isn’t tangine chicken and not very good at all. The cous cous was dry, So overall I wouldn’t suggest this place. There are much better Mediterranean restaurants in Dallas.
The food is always amazing and the service is great
My favorite! Tried beef cigars and they were delicious! Goat cheese and harissa appetizer, and spinach and preserved lemon were great as well.
Very nice choice within easy walking distance of the American Airlines Center. Very artistic atmosphere with mild music. The food was very flavorful. The staff were very knowledgeable and passionate about the menu. Thoroughly enjoyed the "sexy" drinks, and the lamb chops were amazing! Marinated olives and roasted eggplant dip were spot on with flavor. Thanks Jordan for a pleasant and delectable experience!
Fabulous food and service
Wonderful food, very savory.
The food was delicious! Medina has become my favorite place to eat. The service is great and the atmosphere is pleasant.
Charming spot with amazing food and even better service. We had the mixed platter and sea bass. Both were excellent and plenty of food for two people. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area.
Awesome food, great service, great atmosphere. We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return. We shared the sampler appetizer and it was plenty for four ladies. The dinners are large enough to share - for ladies. Excellent value. We had an early dinner before a Sunday Dallas Musical. Nice and close to the theater.
Great place for dinner before a show at House of Blues.
3rd trip here, 3rd stellar experience. The food and teas are a great regional mix, service is on point, and the atmosphere and location are perfect for most occasions. The beef cigars and appetizer platter are standouts not to be missed. Even the creme brulee had a Moroccan flair to it!
The food was excellent! The Sexy Cocktails were great. The server herself greeted us with a smile and was able to make recommendations since it was our first time at Medina. Definitely going back for more.
Superb service, great vibe, perfect music for the setting. Food had beautiful presentation and was off the charts delicious. We will be back!
