The food is delicious and the cultural ambience is very cool. The waitstaff is friendly though too laid back and seem to only focus on the larger tables. We were there an hour before we even got our wine. We understand that restaurants are understaffed these days but they were unapologetic for long waits and never picked up a single dish from our table. We didn't have a bad time...it was just a 3 hour experience that should have been half of that. Waitstaff were not wearing masks. I highly recommend the restaurant but be prepared for longer than usual wait times.
Great food drink and ambiance. Everything I’ve had was excellent.
I do wish they had a chicken, beef or lamb pastilla. I’ve only seen seafood pastilla on the menu.
Medina is always a wonderful place to have an enjoyable dinner whether you are eating light before a performance or having a leisurely meal. The menu is varied--appetizers, salads, pizzas, tagines. The service is quietly unobtrusive, and the decor and music make for a pleasant dining experience. You can actually talk to the people you are with.
We loved it! This was our first time to dine at Medina and the waitstaff was so welcoming and hospitable. The waiter went over the menu and made great recommendations. The food was delicious. My husband had the lamb and it was tender and so flavorful. My chicken tangine was also wonderful. We were almost 30 minutes late for our reservation but they were very gracious. Needless to say we were a little frazzled trying to find parking, but we were so glad we made it. We are looking forward to returning and trying more of the menu.
Delicious food. Smaller than I thought, but great service.
Love the atmosphere ! Food is amazing !
Authentic, fresh food. Highly recommend. We can’t wait to return.
Beautiful restaurant with incredible food and service. Cocktails were very creative and tasted amazing. Definitely needs to be on everyone's list when dining downtown Dallas.
I had a wonderful meal with 2 friends. We shared the Cheese Cigars for our appetizer. One of my friends and I split the Seafood Pastilla and the the Lamb couscous. They were both delicious.
We sat on the patio which was very comfortable and shaded, although a little warm.
The service was excellent.
We always have a great experience and enjoy the food
Hidden gem here. Made a special trip here for our anniversary, and this restaurant never disappoints. Great food, relaxing atmosphere. Well worth the drive into Dallas.
Great food and setting.
Food is absolutely incredible. Service was so kind and the atmosphere was very cool.. I just wish the dining area was air conditioned. It was uncomfortably warm in the Dallas heat. For this reason, I’d come back but only in the winter.
Fabulous. Always sublime at Medina. Chicken kabob and Marrakesh delish. ❤️
Great spot in Victory Park. Food was very good. Very tender chicken kababs and the goat cheese cigars were delish. Make a reservation. Spots fill up quick.
Really great food at a great price with some unique dishes not found anywhere else in the area. Will go back regularly!
Outstanding experience and food, every dish was a unique experience of flavors and freshness. Authentic Moroccan with a nice creative twist. We met Suzanna from Medina, she was super cultured and pleasant. Definitely our favorite in Dallas.
Our dinner was amazing. Four of us went for a birthday dinner. Every plate was delicious, and they brought a birthday treat. Service was impeccable.
The owners smoked on the patio the whole time which completely ruined the experience and the food and wine was way over priced.
Very good food, service was excelente, drinks were acceptable definitely will be back…
We have been eating at Medina for years for special occasions. It's been about a year or 15 months or so since the last time we went. Things have changed there. For one thing, now they have some sort of ethnic music playing constantly. It kind of felt like we were in Beirut or somewhere like that. The food is still good. The service was okay. It just has a bit of a different feel to it. Maybe it's brighter? I cannot really put my finger on it, but we may or may not try it again.
Amazing experience! Love this place, will certainly be back. Atmosphere is amazing and staff is very friendly. Food was fantastic and so authentic! They’ve been here for 20 years and I can tell why!
Excellent restaurant! The food is exceptional, one of the best meals in Dallas. My only regret is not discovering this place sooner.
Wonderful food and great service. The restaurant made our special occasion more special.
Even here dozens of times l. It’s always good.
Food is outstanding and wait staff is very friendly.
Great service and great food!
Food and drinks were great. Service was lacking. It is a small restaurant, however one server for the entire place is not good.
Food was delicious!
Really good and I was impressed. First experience with Moroccan cuisine and it was fantastic
Great food and character.
We have been to this restaurant every year on our girls weekend. It’s always been great.
Unfortunately, this time it wasn’t. The service was terrible… very slow considering there were only a few people in the restaurant. We waited 20 minutes just for our drinks. We won’t be returning next year.
Mixed experience. Nice people, inviting little restaurant in Victory Park. Food was very good, but the salad my wife and I shared was warm in temperature, and the glasses of red wine we had were warm as well. Seemed as if both had been sitting in a hot kitchen before being served. Service was inconsistent as well. Labneh with harissa was delicious, as were our entrees (shrimp skewers and tenderloin and prune tagine). Indoor dining and a limited outdoor dining area as well.
We live in the neighborhood and it was our first time back since the pandemic. This is a beloved restaurant that has been unique in surviving the crash of the original Victory Park. It has changed ownership for the first time since it was originally founded. The new owner Suzanna is welcoming amd attentive. Her mother is the chef. The homey feel remains. The food is even better! We plan to return often! Check it out if you do not know it already.
This place was so good! Probably the best Mediterranean food in uptown.
Most items on the menu were not available. We ordered a beef tagine, which was tough and inedible (and $30), as well as a dry seafood dish that had exactly one shrimp in it. My cocktail was great, though, once I found one they actually had available. My partner's wine never arrived, and they wouldn't let us get olive oil with our pita because "it doesn't come with oil" even though I was willing to pay for it and they had oil? The atmosphere was great and cozy, but the food was very bad, unfortunately. We spent $85 on two dishes and one drink, and then went somewhere else to eat.
Another excellent pre-game meal before heading to AAC for a Stars game. The beef pizza is amazing! Enjoy having a healthy meal instead of eating fried, high calorie meal at the stadium. Will continue to come here regularly before events at AAC.
We ordered marrakesh chicken breast, Andalusian shrimp, hummus and the moroccan coffee. Food was delivered on time, the service was great. We sat indoors as we noticed they also provided hookah services. The ambience is coupled with music which is apt for the theme of the restaurant.
The waiter was the best, the food delicious, the ambiance great. Love having Medina in the neighborhood.
