Medina Oven & Bar
We went before the symphony. It’s a small place, so I’d advise reservations. I always enjoy this place because it’s quiet and relaxed, with a nice casual ambiance. We also took a ride share because parking is not great here, but everything about the restaurant itself is terrific. Try the Moroccan wine with your tagine.
Very flavorful food
We will go back👍
Wonderful food, awesome experience, great service. Will be back again.
Great little place. Seats about 50. Near AA Arena. Not the easiest to find but definitely worth the search. Food was both unique and excellent. Service was great. Definitely worth a try.
We had a large party come in for dinner and they were very accommodating! They have limited seating inside, so it made it easy to converse. Also, the food was delicious!
Have been 3 other times and this was just as good. The entrees and specials are subtly exotic. Will come back again. Ismael provides great service. Thanks
We had an excellent Valentines Day dinner. The three course meal was delicious!
Medina continues to be one of Dallas top restaurants. Everything was perfect.
I've been a Medina customer for 10+ years and have always found it a wonderful meal and experience no matter who I'm with - friend, family or date.
We were met instantly and seated right away by very friendly wait staff. Our server was Ismael who was funny, knowledgeable, and gave us some great suggestions. The tagine Sea Bass was beyond amazing and the filet tagine with couscous was amazing. The bartender made the most wonderful Moroccan Manhatten. It was a really fun evening! I recommend it to anyone who loves great food!
The space was small but very well decorated and still comfortable. The staff were efficient but very attentive; our waiter even spent time after the meal validating our parking ticket - smiling the whole time. The food was excellent and was brought out in a timely manner. All around it was an excellent experience, and we plan to return when we visit Dallas again!
The food and service was awesome!
My team had dinner here the other night. It was lovely, good food, variety (even for those with food restrictions), and great atmosphere.
Decided to go to Medina oven and Bar due to the ratings and feedback from friends that have been there in the past. I was told this is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in Dallas. Overall we had a pretty good experience, the location in downtown Dallas is easily accessible, however the restaurant is a little hard to find due to the sign not being very well lit. The food was pretty good. We had the beef cigars which were good, however they were a little greasy but still really really good. We also had one of the seafood dishes and lamb dish, although the food was really good you do not get alot of food for what you pay for. The lamb chops were great, but the potato and goat cheese that is served with it was cold. I am sure if I would brought it to the servers attention they would’ve fixed it, but the night we went there was only one server working. She was extremely busy but she did give us good service. I was also very hungry, that was another reason why I did not bring the cold potatoes and goat cheese to the servers attention. I did love the mint tea!!! Although I do think Medina oven and bar is worthy of another visit I do not think it is one of the best Mediterranean places in Dallas.
We love Medina. Best Mediterranean food in town.
Food is always great! How about them “Sexy Drinks!” They have the best staff Never been disappointed.
Great food, our first time at a Moroccan restaurant. We had great service and really enjoyed our food and drink selections.
Worth the trip down from Frisco. We loved it.
This is a gem in the city! Deliciousness! The place is small, and you're somewhat crammed in, but I loved it.
Service was great, food with many choices (all good) and you can be seated inside or outside if you wish...
We were here on a game night. It was bustling and the server was running, but still did a good job of waiting on us. We like to eat healthy food and they are great at altering dishes as requested. We love the atmosphere. It feels cozy and warm.
Excellent pregame meal before heading to aac.
It’s our go to place before a stars game hang
Excellent service and the food was phenomenal. Great variety on the menu. Hidden jem near AA Center. We will be back!
Great birthday dinner before the Mavs game! Whole family loved the food and service!
Great food and drinks. Ambience was alright inside the restaurant but I’m sure it will be beautiful during the summer with all the patio seating. The spreads were great. Felt that the quantity was less. Super flavorful though. Ordered Marrakesh Chicken breast and skewers and they were amazing. Especially the chicken was flavor with perfect mix of spices and herbs. A fulfilling meal to finish off the night. Don’t miss the Morracan mint tea!
Service from Ismail was great as well..
Quick and friendly service / delicious food
Live Medina! Service & food!
Get the beef cigars... Wonderful!!
The service and food was over-the-top outstanding! Highly recommended!
Love the food there. Everything I tried tastes amazing. Plus their cocktails are great.
Have eaten here twice. Excellent both times. Really interesting menu. Good drinks and just a great place. Maybe my favorite.
Lovely evening with friends before a concert at the house of blues!
Absolutely wonderful! We had been a few years ago and liked it but because of our distance away had not been back. It will be our go to place. The owner was so accommodating and food and service incredible. The owner walked my wife out to meet me in our awaiting car!
The food was great! Will definitely come back next time I'm in Dallas!
Love this place!
This is such a cozy spot, and the owner Sam greets everyone and makes them feel welcome. Our service was great and the food was wonderful. We had the beef “cigars” , chicken skewers and an assortment of all their dips. It was a great spot to be catching up with old friends!
I thought the food was outstanding. Chicken Tangine was memorable. Service attentive and decor was warm and authentic. Only complaint was the loud Fez music became annoying during a business lunch.
Second time here in a month. Great food and service! Elegant food with personal involvement by the owner.
Great food + great service = amazing dinner with friends!
Had a great time as usual. Traffic was very messed up due to a storm, but they held our table...
I love the food--baklava was not the best. The hummus is great. The owner greeted us and offered wine tastings to help us select the best wine to go with our food. The waitress was a bit overwhelmed, but kept up with a little help from another waiter and the owner. Very gracious owner and staff.
