First class. I wish we had Meat Market in Bocaq Raton. We'ed be regulars.
Food was amazing. Wait staff provided lots of help in choosing things off of the menu. We'd go back next time we visit Palm Beach!
Great food and service, one of my favorites
Always love the food and service st Meat Market Palm Beach but for some reason service was off that Wednesday night. Had to wait for a drink order to come because a large table of big drinkers came in the bread did not come till we ask 3x’s then came with our salad . Steak was not cooked right had to send back by the time we got it back 25minutes later everyone at table was done eating so took it home. The restaurant only had about 10 tables full that night very unusual for them. This is our first time that this has happened so don’t hold it against them we love Meat Market!
A waiter dropped someone’s dirty fork on my back. He apologized as I moved forward in my chair I figured he took the dirty fork. Moments later as I sat back the fork stabbed me in the butt as it was still there!! The food was really good, but for a fine dining establishment that kind of ruined my experience.
Awesome food and staff. The food was served hot and the staff was extremely nice even though we arrived at 9:30 pm and the kitchen closes at 10 pm
The food was delicious, and our waiter was great. My only complaint is that we had a 7:15 reservation but were not seated until 8. Also, we ordered drinks at the bar but our bartender forgot about us and made a bunch of other drinks, so we waited 20+ minutes to even get a drink. That said, when she realized, she comped us. The dinner helped us forget our annoyance with the wait.
Great menu and amazing food and service! Try the steak tartar for an appetizer or the lobster and crab cake!
Just good not perfect
Service and food was excellent perfect birthday celebration
Phenomenal experience! Service, food and overall atmosphere fantastic. Felt like an LA restaurant in Beverly Hills. Dress up for dinner!
My husband and I came here on Saturday night. Our drinks were good and so were our appetizers (stone crab claws and a salad)....The Brussels sprouts were also good! Unfortunately our steak was super dry and we didn’t end up finishing it. Was really disappointed. Restaurant was very crowded (tables were super close together) and really loud. We would definitely pick a different steak house over this one next time.
Food and service was exceptional .
My Rsvp was for 8pm. After few times approached the hostess station. Our table wasn’t ready until after 9pm. They told us waiting on people to get up and leave.
We started eating at 9.30pm
I had been many times in this restaurant for many different occasions including couple of my birthdays for past few years. I never had complain about service and the way the hostess talked to us.
If i wasn’t hungry I would leave.
Food and service was amazing. Perfect place to celebrate our anniversary.
Highly anticipated anniversary reservation, easily made and confirmed through Open Table! Joyful, enthusiastic hostess greeting. Hopeful. Nice table. Plastic mats, no tablecloths? Water spillage never wiped up. Wine choice by the glass ($15), was then mis-quoted by server @ $115/bottle! Service is just average. Peruvian fried corn amuse-bouche is pretty remarkable. Lots of interesting items on the menu, if pricey, and all a la carte. Filet was ordered medium-rare, delivered medium-almost well done. When management checked, and was so-informed that we were still in process of cutting into the selection, he never returned to see if the item met our satisfaction. Other diners seemed to be spending a lot of time posing or being preoccupied on their phones, rather than enjoying dinner or each other’s company. One diner annoyingly used his phone’s spotlight feature, which hit our table more than his menu. Oh, and don’t bother to answer the Open Table “special event?” question. No one pays attention to that. Food: B, Service: B, Ambiance: Noisy, even with the light crowd. Mirrored wood panel, barn hall with clear glass balloon chandeliers and Edison lightbulbs. Next.
Always enjoy the food. I have filled out a birthday card twice but was notified of any “gift” last December, my birthday month.
It is very rare that I take the time to compliment a restaurant for what they are suppose to do right in the first place. Having said that, this place was out of control good! Starting with their cocktail named “Some like it Hot” which was an incredibly well balanced spicy margarita. Great job! Every dish we ordered from the shrimp and the home made cocktail sauce to the bone marrow appetizer with a cherry reduced chutney to the sea bass and the bone in filet showered in truffles...we were impressed! There is no doubt that we will be back for another great experience. I highly recommend this place to experience something unique and tasty.
Meat Market is a hot spot on Palm Beach, so if you’re looking for a relaxing dining experience, don’t go on a Saturday. Steaks are what to order here, especially the filet mignon. Wine list is exceptional.
Despite an OpenTable reservation, we waited more than a half hour for our table. But when we were finally seated, there were apologies and a free round of drinks. Our server was attentive and went out of his way to please us.
I would return —on a different night. My husband? Not so sure.
There is no meat available other than beef.
FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. SERVICE WAS GREAT. SEATING IS TIGHT AND TOO CLOSE TO OTHER PARTIES. NEED A LITTLE MORE ELBOW ROOM BETWEEN TABLES. WE REQUEST A CORNER BOOTH WHEN WE ARRIVED. GREETER SAID THEY WERE RESERVED. THEIR WAS NO ONE ELSE SEATED IN DINING ROOM AS IT WAS EARLY WHEN WE ARRIVED. WE FINISHED ALMOST 90 MINS LATER AND THE BOOTHS WERE STILL EMPTY.
Outrageously noisy and crowded. Food delicious but not worth the crunch and volume of bodies shoved in there. Could not hear dining partner. Perhaps best for the younger meat market crowd !
Great atmosphere. Great wait staff. Unfortunately my husband had to send his steak back three times in order to get it well done. They had cut into it so many times it looked like chop steak. My foie gras was excellent. Kale carder was delicious. The noisy bar was not our scene but it’s OK for others. I don’t mind paying the price if we didn’t have have a poor Steak experience.
First time customers! The short ribs were the best I’ve ever had. Slices of tender meat with real flavor. The cherries were a perfect addition to this dish. Loyal customers from now on!
The entire staff was delightful! Worth the prices for the quality!
The service was exceptional and the steaks were superb. The entire dining experience was memorable.
The ambiance, food and service were all outstanding - I will likely go there again. However, I did learn my lesson about not asking what Market Price is for a particular item. I'm not one who is typically very concerned about the price of a meal... dining at an upscale restaurant is a pleasure that I am willing to pay for. But I was a bit surprised when my check came and the appetizer that included three stone crab claws, three prawns, and a dozen oysters was just under $300.00. Again, I really enjoyed food, service and the overall experience, and will return.
My oyster appetizer was very late. Everyone else at out party of 5 was served and finished by the time my oysters came out. Several of us had strip steaks and the special bone in and they were all awful and tuff
Simply the best upscale dining around. Not cheap but, oh so worth it.
I've been here several times and they always get the steaks perfect. The seating can be a bit tight so it's important to arrive early or request a booth. Prices are competitive but considering the food is much better than a typical chain, I'd say they are very fair. Service is great and I'll definitely be back soon.
It was over an hour from the time we sat down to the time our entrée was served. Had to repeatedly wave down the waiter for bread, refills on our water and status updates on our dinner. And the place was only half full! Not motivated to return here again since Flagler steakhouse offers an overall better service and expensive menu
We drive almost 40 miles from Fort Lauderdale, and it is always well worth the drive!
Great food with excellent service. Love the ambiance! Always enjoy the dining experience there.
Too loud. Acoustics were terrible. Didn’t like the “club” vibe.
We heard great things about this restaurant but were slightly disappointed. Our oysters weren’t cleaned very well (several pieces of the shell were in the oysters). My husband asked for his steak done medium and it came out well done. The tuna tartare appetizer was delicious!
Delicious food. Insanely high price
First time to the Meat Market. We came early for a cocktail ahead of our 8:00 PM reservations. I needed a little more dirty in my dirty martini and our bartender was quick to care of my drink. Our waiter, James, did a nice job with the specials. We chose to split the 30 ounce Wagyu beef as recommended. It was perfectly cooked, just the right amount of char. We had the Truffle Cream corn, great taste. We enjoyed our visit and can’t wait till their new location opens in Tampa(Hyde Park).
Meat Market really lived up to its billing as a premier steakhouse — both for a guest who chose to eat its main offering and one who went with lighter fare. Achiote Shrimp was the highlight of the appetizers and the meaty Lobster Mac and Cheese the same for the sides. Marrow Butter and Cabernet Reduction were decadent enhancements for a 6-oz. filet that was perfectly cooked at “medium-plus” with a crispy, blackened crust.
The food was good, the space was very energetic, the service was GREAT! It saved the night. We would go back!
Our server was fantastic (M-E). The entrees were good quality at reasonable prices. I would skip the raw oysters, definitely farm raised. The wine list is ok but for the price you are better by the glass. The Insignia was the most aggressive markup I have seen and I live in New York City. It was very crowded and energetic, tables are small and tight. It was more of a Jersey crowd than a Palm Beach preppy crowd.
