We’ve been several times to this restaurant. Would recommend it but not on too busy nights like Valentine.... The restaurant was not up to standard on this occasion.

Delicious, clean food and good sized portions. Cocktails were great as well...and the bread & butter they give you before the meal is absolutely incredible!
Great little neighbourhood spot.

The food and service were beyond all expectations. We did the 5 course tasting menu which is highly recommended! We were blown away and can't wait to go back!

Great Michelin starred restaurant. Had the roasted oysters and ribs for appetizers, both were excellent although I felt a need for some fire on the oysters. As a main we had the oysters and the steak, both terrific. As a bonus their house made rolls and salt butter were a great treat to start.

Excellent service and overall, food was good but oversalted. Salted bread, pasta with crab appetizer, wagyu beef, and scallops. Food would have been even better with less salt.

We attempted to order a mixed drink and were told that their drinks are not sweet. We ordered an SOS which was overly sweet. Drinks are $12 and are very small.

Overall, enjoyable and could be made better with several changes.

We had an outstanding meal served by a hospitable capable staff. We had the tasting menu (a great value) with wine pairings. The menu itself is based on your preferences and what is available that day. Each course was perfectly executed. Got full only toward the very end so the amount of food was perfect. A great alternative to the much more expensive tasting menus in Manhattan.

I love the food at Meadowsweet, but both times I've been there the service has been horrendous. The first time was just with two people for brunch, and recently was with 5 people for brunch. Perhaps because gratuity is already included for 5+ people so the servers don't feel the need to do well, but thats my only complaint with this place. The food and ambiance is great and I would recommend with that caveat.

I was impressed by the main dishes at this restaurant. The portion sizes are pretty small, almost like tapas. We got the steak and the duck. I was mostly impressed by the flavors of the duck, and I'd definitely recommend it to a friend. The restaurant also has an affordable wine list, with decent wines ranging from $40 to $60, which in New York City, is a good deal. One thing that I wasn't happy about was the cost of the raw oysters. The price was way more than I expected, and I wish the restaurant would be more upfront with the pricing in the future. It may have been our server who didn't communicate the cost to us when we inquired about the dish. Otherwise, it's a good date spot, and I saw a lot of groups eating together, so you can also bring friends.

Food was great, but service was terrible. Took 45 minutes to be asked for order. They brought out some sauce that was key to dish after friend finished eating 3/4 because they were so slow and no one said it was coming. Don’t know how they have a Michelin star.

Delicious brunch date. We had the tamales to start, he had the duck hash & I had the burrata & Brussels sprout omelette. Coffee could be a tad better but everything else was spot on, creative, and pretty perfect! Service was great, too.

Still my favorite restaurant in Williamsburg. Consistently great product and inventive preparation. We’re their on New Years so things were expectantly busy and the staff seemed harried, but the food was exceptional.

We were there for a Saturday brunch. Delicious food. The duck hash and the truffle oil toast were notable. Service was good, the restaurant was beautiful and clean. Prices for brunch were reasonable.

We were super excited to go to Meadowsweet but were sorely disappointed. The service staff was notably slow with only one server at lunch who was also the line bartender. Though the bread was spectacular, our chicken was terribly undercooked and not edible. What a disappointment!

Our waiter was really off. Took great care of the table next to us but left us sitting for over ten mins without water/taking drink orders. Listed specials to his other tables but simply asked us “what do you want?” When finally coming over. Kept trying to figure out if we accidentally did something to offend him the whole dinner- I don’t think so. Everything else was absolutely incredible. Definitely deserves its accolades. Will absolutely come back but just avoid that server

The most amazing meal we’ve had during our 6 years in NYC. Everything was cooked perfectly. The flavors were exciting yet familiar and right on point. The service was outstanding (well-timed, excellent help with wine, friendly and accommodating- thanks, Jacob!). This was (a lot of) money we did not regret spending. Thank you so much. We’ll be back!

Restaurant is cute and sophisticated without being fancy or stuffy. And while the restaurant was full of people it was not noisy. All the staff were friendly, knowledgable and helpful. The food was AMAZING. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Can't wait to come back!

We went to Meadowsweet for our anniversary and enjoyed every minute of it. The food was phenomenal. We had the burrata on top of crispy squash, a handmade pasta with mushrooms & truffles, roasted beets with honey thyme ricotta & pistachios, the bay scallops with roasted cauliflower and the wagyu sirloin. Every single dish was amazing.

The service was also wonderful. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately, and then treated to a complimentary glass of champagne as we'd selected "Anniversary" when making the reservation on Open Table.

The ambiance was warm and inviting, not intimidating or stuffy in any way. Just an overall great experience for a special occasion that made us glad we treated ourselves.

Overall was really disappointed with our experience - for a Michelin star restaurant, I was expecting a lot more. We went for brunch and not only was the food just OK two meals were sent out wrong, the coffee was cold and our server was slow and totally disengaged -- we had to ask multiple times for basic things (like filling our water glasses and getting us the bill). Will not waste my time going there again!

Our server was super patient and pleasant but our hostess was VERY overbearing and quite frankly, rude. She reminded us twice of the fact that they needed the table at a certain time, hovering over us and counting down. We made a reservation well ahead of time and showed up on time so there was no need for that. We made sure not to order dessert so we’d be out of her way, but I’d recommend against her being guest-facing in general because her tone truly left a bad feeling about the meal overall (we are locals and loved Meadowsweet before).
