Loved this place.. Food was excellent and the drinks were great.
GooD brunch, although it didnt seem to me as place with a Michelin Star. The noise was so loud it was impossible to chat with the people that were having brunch with me. The food was good, not amazing.
Prices are OK.
It’s was very nice
Terrible food - technically flawed and tasted awful - Kitchen seems to like adding a load of strongly flavored discordant flavors like the over abundance of lemon zest on the already awfully prepared chicken main course - the Michelin star seems misplaced - not recommended other than for the initial small bread course
For New Year’s Eve, a more festive music selection would have set the mood better.
But definitely not for vegetarians. My family had a great dinner, but mine was mediocre
outstanding cocktails food and service
perfect new years eve dinner
we will come back
thanks for the wonderful evening
Fantastic brunch! The cocktails are outstanding, and the food is delicious!
Amazing! Everything was great
the food was ok but too much expensive, the place was too noisy.
Everything about our dinner on 12/23 was exceptional. We could not have been more charmed and well looked after by the wait staff, especially our waiter. We had the tasting menu and it was truly outstanding.
When I say Meadowsweet was incredible...every dish was full of flavor, EVERY BITE. Their staff was fantastic, very welcoming, and as a 21 year old that is new to this level of cuisine I felt right at home as our server explained each dish we ordered. Truly incredible, I’d come back 1,000 times over. Thank you Chef Polo Dobkin and your incredible staff!
Impeccable food. Michelin quality on a budget. You die and go to heaven for a bit. Don’t forget the cocktails!
Very underrated food and service. I love this place!
Went to brunch with three friends, and not a single scrap was left on a plate. Everything was beyond delicious.
Third time visiting Meadowsweet. I really enjoy eating here, the food is delicious, restaurant is modern and has a great variety on the menu and in the bar. Reasonable price considering the quality! It will continue to be my go-to place!
I’ve been to Meadowsweet several times and it has generally been a very pleasant dining experience. I wish I could say the same about this latest visit. I hope they were having an off night. Major oopsies included a server who could not figure out which wine was being requested, oysters served liberally coated with broken shells, duck breast served with so much sinew left attached that it could barely be cut, much less chewed. It was not a great evening and I am not sure I would return after this. Too bad...the place used to be first rate.
Fantastic atmosphere for a wonderful dinner out. We had the tasting menu which was absolutely delicious. So much care put into both service and food made it a lovely experience.
Thus was one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend!
The service was amazing! The food was delicious. Definitely going back for seconds!
Very nice brunch. Good variety from eggs to sandwiches. Very accommodating
Best restaurant for the money in Brooklyn, hands down.
It was great but didn’t really live up to my expectations, maybe because it was a special Thanksgiving menu.
Went for thanksgiving dinner - great food and wine.
Thanksgiving pre fixe meal. Everything was perfect. The food was amazing and the service was attentive without being invasive.
Service was welcoming and pleasant
Food was excellent and unique
We had the best afternoon
Wonderful way to share Thanksgiving with adult children!
Nothing special, we were surprised that it has one Michelin star.
Service is superb from beginning to end. We found free parking in the neighborhood, a real thrill. All the food was well- and imaginatively prepared. Nobody was haughty. Not too expensive, and all four of us left sated and happy.
It was a fabulous dining experience. Food was delicious and the service was very accommodating. A special shot out to the hostesses. Can’t wait to dine there again
Going to Brooklyn -just an excuse to create a special occasion. Every bite of everything was delicious! The crispy artichokes were my favorite. I had never had wagyu beef before. And parsnip cake I had never heard of, let alone had and with the honey ice cream...mmm wonderful. Yummy creative cocktails as well!
Food was great. Wagyu was stellar but the duck was magnificent. Service was on point. Perfect special dinner.
Delicious food. Enjoyed the pork cheeks & squash. Bread and steak were amazing. Will definitely be back!
Took my hubby here for his bday brunch.. the food was amazing! Our server was beyond helpful and very very nice! I would highly recommend! We will deffff be back
Our server didn’t the happiest or friendliest person. The general atmosphere of the people and it’s restaurant was like that. It was odd. The diners seemed perfectly normal and usual to the area but the restaurant and servers seemed removed is the best way I can put it.
The service was not what I have had at a 1 star restaurant. The food was as good as I was hoping for but the service made the overall experience much less. I have been to many 1 and 2 and also 3 star Michelin restaurants and I would not recommend it and that is a shame because the food was with a just average service would have changed my judgement.
Meadowsweet was great for our anniversary dinner; I noted that it was our anniversary on OpenTable and they gave us a champagne toast at the start of our meal. The food, wine, and cocktails were all fantastic. It’s a little loud but overall great service, we’ll definitely be returning.
If you're in the area and looking for quality food at a reasonable price in a nice setting I would recommend Meadowsweet. I'm not sure if it was a fluke or our servers first day, but the service was actively pretty bad, as in she didn't know the menu at all and was rude to us in addition to bringing the wrong drinks and food. That was the only downside.
One of the better meals we have had in a long time. From the appetizers (actually, starting with the bread), to the mains to dessert, everything was magnificent.
