Good but forgettable food. Could not understand why they have a Michelin Star
Food was creative and delicious. The appetizers were amazing
Food was good, but not worth the price. Also, outdoor dining with the nearby elevated subway line rumbling by every five minutes takes away a bit of the ambiance of the meal. Waitstaff was excellent!
Staff was delightful and super friendly! Gmfood was delicious. Must get the burrata /pea appetizer.
Have been wanting to come here for a while. Came here for brunch - Food was just Ok, nothing special which was disappointing.
Took 45+ min to get our food and when we did it was just average. Other tables were served before us who got there after us.
Great spot. Try the artichokes. Service was excellent, bar staff friendly. A+
Charge a Covid recovery charge which is excessive
Attentive and knowledgeable staff and fantastic dishes from start to finish. Crispy artichoke starter was amazing as was the flourless chocolate cake! Great value for such outstanding food.
I said it was my dad’s birthday, and they brought out dessert with a candle and free Prosecco for the table! Our waitress was so kind and helpful, and she was very attentive.
The food took a very long time to come out, and the restaurant was extremely warm inside.
Was a good experience
Incredible food and even better service! Drinks were amazing too. Can’t wait to come back!
Excellent food! The dining room was a bit hot. Not sure why
Pros: good food and reasonable price
Cons: lackluster service and no AC
Was sat in the back next to a floor fan. Had to sit at an angle because the fan wouldn’t let me pull my chair out. Ordered the chicken sandwich, the egg sandwich, and donuts as an appetizer. All were very underwhelming for the price and reputation of the restaurant. The donuts lacked flavor and tasted ready-made. The fries that came with the entrees consisted mostly of burnt ends. The breakfast sandwiches were okay but for $20 a sandwich they weren’t anything special. I won’t return for brunch but I would try dinner.
Service was good. Attentive and friendly staff. Great music.
Everything was absolutely outstanding!
This was our first time at Meadowsweet and we can’t wait to go back! Narrowing down what to order was the hard part. We ended up with the rolls, crispy artichokes, beet ravioli, chicken, and duck, as well as some cocktails. Everything was delicious but those beet ravioli were beyond. SO good. Ambiance was relaxed and service was kind. We’re looking forward to our next visit!
good food - decent spot, very friendly staff. Bar aesthetic was solid.
Very overpriced very short drinks boring menu
It was amazing and our waiter recommended only the best dishes, can’t wait to return!
Great meal. Our waiter was very friendly and they gave us a complimentary dessert for my wife's bday, which was very considerate.
Brunch at Meadowsweet was absolutely amazing! From the food and service to the ambiance, really loved it and can’t wait to go back! Our server Zach was so lovely and we can’t wait to come back and visit him when he is bartending!! 10/10 for sure ☺️
The staff were lovely and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be returning!
I have a lengthy list of food intolerances and it can be very hard to find places that accommodate me. Meadowsweet made it so easy and I’m so grateful. They had my list of food allergies ahead of time and were able to make changes to the exact items on the menu that I wanted to order.
Lovely outdoor seating, attentive staff, and incredible food!
The crispy artichoke dish was out of this world ;)
The staff is so kind - the food is really good and tasty! I highly recommend this place, a really great Michelin star restaurant with wonderful customer service.
Great experience, great food, highly recommend
Good but certainly not a Michelin star.
We've been to countless Michelin restaurants throughout the world, but unfortunately this really does not match up to any of them. The star is a bit of a mystery to us.
Everything was "very good", but nothing particularly special.
It's the typical nice and trendy restaurant that you can find in any city, so I wouldn't suggest going out of my way if visiting. There are so many other more unique options in NYC.
And definitely the loudest 1 star we've ever visited (and no, we are not elderly people).
Absolutely creative, amazing, and delicious food. Service superb as well. Highly recommend!
It wasn’t my first time there. They delivered exactly as I expected. Amazing meal - exciting dining experience. Perfect for our date night.
Great! Delicious, fun!
We arrived at 6:45pm for our reservation and was seated in an outdoor “pod” booth which was great. The hostess/manager was lovely. Our waiter, however, was a bit aloof and disappeared for large blocks of time. Our apps arrived in what seemed like a reasonable amount of time. Our dinner did not. After waiting an hour for our entrees, we asked the waiter who said it would be just a few more minutes. Another 15-20 minutes passed when we flagged down the hostess/manager who checked with the kitchen and told us our meal was being plated at that moment. Another 10-15 minutes passed and finally our meals arrived. It was now 8:45 - 2 hours after we were seated. Instead of the lies of the kitchen being backed up (even though tables who ordered after us got their meals first) we wish they had been honest that our waiter forgot to place our meal with the kitchen. What a disappointment! Food was good, but we were so tired and ready to leave that we really didn’t enjoy the meal. They did comp us $36 for the appetizers, but honestly, they should have comp’d the entrees. Won’t be going back anytime soon. $200+ for a dinner that was “meh.”
Excellent food and staff!
This place is fantastic. The drinks were delicious. The food, I can’t even express in words how mouth watering each meal was. The staff is attentive and friendly. Always with a smile. My husband and I left there very pleased and look forward to having dinner there again. 5 stars for sure!!
Amazing food and attentive service. Definitely will go back again and often!
Food excellent Inside. Very loud !
Still a lovely, lively space but sadly I feel the food itself is not nearly as good as it was the first time I visited (granted, many years ago). Not an exceptional meal, unfortunately.
