A little drafty up by the front door, but when the first app arrived, my wife and I were wowed by the flavor, and every dish to follow just built on that! Our server was friendly and helpful and we will definitely be returning for another meal soon.
wonderful brunch spot! So glad to be back out and about;)
Meadowsweet offered exceptional service and great food options. We ordered Salmon and the Pork Loin. The portions are plentiful but not intense so that our 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and dessert rounded up a great amount of food. Nothing I ordered was underwhelming. I don’t think you can go wrong with dining at meadowsweet. Service was amazing.
Excellent omelettes. Very nice service. Home made hot sauce
Loved it. Great food! Great service! An overall fantastic brunch experience.
I loved the choice of appetizers and the creativity.
The best food I’ve had in quite awhile. Perfect service. Not to be missed!
With so many choices in New York and Brooklyn, you can get dizzy making dinner plans. We picked Meadowsweet because of the Michelin star rating a few years back and were not disappointed. The limited menu has something for everyone, the service is good, and the surroundings calm but interesting.
Had a very delicious meal and cocktail, and the service was great.
Meadowsweet is one of my favorite restaurants for its combination of excellent food, and service, as well as a quiet outdoor seating area.
They were very accommodating with dietary restrictions and the food was amazing
Excellent meal. Inventive cuisine.
Friendly and knowledgeable servers.
Great for foodies.
Wonderful restaurant and incredible food!!
Crispy baby artichokes we’re crispy and tender, wonderfully bathed in a red pepper glaze. Salmon was perfectly seared/herbed on the outside snd true medium grilled. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Such an enjoyable evening meal!
Service was great, food was underwhelming to say the least. Overcooked eggs, burnt coffee, egg shell pieces in our eggs. They ultimately comped the coffee and other items, so like I said great service, but we were expecting so much more from the food.
Disappointed, had great expectations! The food was just ok.
Great service! They took great care of us when we were celebrating a special occasion.
Overpriced mediocre food.
I’ve now been here twice in a week and a half it’s delicious + the service exemplary. Michelin star well deserved it’s become a neighborhood favorite + gem. Such a big fan!
There is a lovely outdoor seating area where it doesn't feel like you're right on the street, service was great, and food was delicious!
Service was excellent although host seemed to be confused about our reservation when we showed up. Food was exquisite! Ceviche was refreshing and very refined. Octopus was very tasty and spiced to our tastes. I had the wagyu bavette and the vegetables (roasted sunchokes, maitake mushroom, and potato puree) were out of this world! Cocktails were great too!
It was extremely noisy in the back room due to a large party (24+). That said, Stephanie - the owner - had called me before to offer to switch our table in the back to another one outside. We declined, but regretted in the end. Her gesture showed how much they care for their customers! They truly deserve the 1 star Michelin for the quality of the food and the overall customer experience!
waited for 50 minutes to get our food; it's not worth the wait...
A great place for brunch that doesn't get the insane crowds like other places around here do on a weekend, and I actually enjoyed it much more than those places! I think dinner is more popular here and I haven't tried that yet, but brunch was solid and I'd come here again.
Cant believe this place have a Michelin star, I ordered an American Wagyu Babette and it came with and instant microwave mashed potatoes!
The food was excellent. Our party of three ordered several different dishes and everyone thought their dish was very good. Service was good too, and we were not rushed out. (Left a very good tip as a thank you too.) Noise level was very high, so conversation was conducted leaning forward and speaking very loudly. That was really the main downside to an otherwise outstanding experience. This restaurant might be best experienced on a non-Friday night!
The waiter we had was fantastic the food was great but that waiter (she) made the night
Thank you !
Shared about 7 or 8 different things off the menu and everything was delicious. The Duck Ragu and Cheeseburger are probably at the top of my favorites list. Cocktails were crafty and all really good
The food was exceptional, and we had a fantastic time. Great for a special occasion. Literally everything we ordered was so good.
So happy we went! This was by far one of the best meals we've had in BK yet!
Great food, great hosts!
Meadowsweet serves delectable food in a relaxed, elegant space. The service is excellent, the cocktails delicious, and the vibe is convivial. Although I live in Harlem, I will be making a point of returning to Meadowsweet as soon as I can. It's well worth the trip, wherever you live.
service was a little slow but the food was great and it was a good vibe !
I took my best friend here for her birthday and it was a lovely experience! The food was amazing, we ended up splitting a few of the starters and one entree and that was plenty of food. Very fresh ingredients and interesting combinations. For her birthday, they gave us each a glass of champagne and a dessert to split. Lovely staff!
Food was amazing, staff was friendly and accommodating, and outdoor seating was really nice too!
The food was delicious and the ambinece of the place was wonderful for a quick meet up branch with a friend. Thank you. :)
Absolutely phenomenal experience! The food was nothing short of amazing and the service was up to par as well. My friends and I did not particularly like one drink and our server handled it immediately. We will be back!
Excellent food, good service, nice atmosphere, good prices, great menu; what else is there?
Oxtail Ragu was delicious. Very nice and attentive waitress
Meadowsweet never disappoints. My only "issue" was in only being able to secure a reservation very early (6:00 pm) and arriving at an empty restaurant. Even when we left a bit over an hour later, restaurant was only 1/4 full. Food, and service, were fabulous.
The food there was excellent. Some of the best food I have had!
