Excellent food! Well flavored with interesting preparation/accompaniments. Will definitely return and perhaps eat at the bar next time. Server was pleasant but there was short/impatient attitude detected across every employee encountered. No offer of coffee/tea etc with dessert. Hence he low service rating. Hospitality is important.

It was a great experience, specially having the same name as the Chef, his wife was heaven to talk to.
The only observation is the cork fee, we didn’t know it was per bottle :/ thought it was a flat rate.
Thanks for everything and see you soon.

We were seated 25 minutes late for a 9:00 PM reservation. That wasn't a huge problem, but the two couples seated next to us who were accommodated equally poorly were offered complementary champagne and were generally treated a lot more respectfully than we were; I don't know if its because I look young like a college kid, but there was a noticeable and unsatisfactory disparity in how were were treated. Take this trendy spot off of the Michelin list, please. Hands down the worst Michelin associated restaurant I have ever been to - food, vibe and service was not Michelin level. If you're rich and trying to blow your money on a hot spot, go here. If you want amazing food, look elsewhere.

The tasting menu was uniformly good, with a few dishes excellent. The wine pairings were appropriate, given the spectrum of food servings. In all, a very nice meal at a good price.

The food was absolutely delicious. I am a real foodie and I thought this was top notch. The drawback was the service. When we sat down no one came over to get our drink order, give us bread- nothing - we were ignored for at least 15-20 minutes no one came over. We had to flag our waitress down . I also was insulted when someone from the restaurant came over to the couple next to is to get their feedback on their dining experience asking what could have been done better and didn't ask us . Is that bc they knew the service slacked at the beginning ? It took 45 minutes fir us to get our appetizer.
That said, once the waitress came over it was smooth sailing but we shouldn't have experienced that at all.

Food was good, but service was terrible. Our waitress was rude and service was slow.
Left much to be desired for what we were hoping would be a great experience.

I’ve been coming to Meadowsweet for a few years and something was just way off with this visit. Food came before drinks.. first two courses felt rushed and food quality did not seem as good as it was in the past. Oh well!

Went for brunch. The food was very good but with a fairly standard brunch menu, nothing really stood out. I got the duck pastrami hash and there was barely enough duck to rate it. The food was executed very well though. The service was slow and uneven, but I might give it another chance since it seemed like they might have just been having a bad day.

We had an amazing experience this past weekend celebrating my husband's birthday. The staff was so warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to make our time there feel special. They even brought over complimentary champagne, which was such a sweet touch. Usually when you got to a nice restaurant that is dependable for dinner, their brunch can be a bit spotty. Let's face it, nobody wants to work a brunch shift and the menu can border on generic, even at the finest of restaurtants. Not this place! My husband ordered the duck hash and I got the mushroom polenta with eggs. Both were knock out gorgeous and tasted even better than they looked. We were incredibly impressed and don't know why we didn't come here sooner. Looking forward to making this a mainstay as one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants.

We had exceptional service. The server gave us a lot of information on the different pasta options and gave us free champagne to celebrate my friend's moving there. It's definitely a good place for vegetarians and the veggie appetizers were our favorites. Delicious cocktails and beautiful lighting.

I will start this by saying the food was FANTASTIC. We hit a TON of traffic on the way, so I called to let the restaurant know we would be late and ask if it would pose a problem. The reservation was for 11am. They said they had wiggle room and if we showed up at 11:30 am there would be no problem. We arrived at 11:12 am. Our waiter barely said two words to us. We ordered the doughnuts. He took the plate away, which had a dipping sauce on it, while I still had a dougnut on my plate. I was putting my last bite in my mouth and he stood over the table and took the plate while I still had food in my hand. We were TWELVE minutes late AND I had asked if it would be a problem prior to our arrival. The server was nothing short of rude.

We arrived on the early side (6:00) when the place was quiet - very nice for us mature adults. The duck was, simply, by far the best we'd ever had. Large portion, as well -- we took some home. Bread was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

Exceptional from start to finish! We went for our anniversary and opted for the tasting menu which was catered to our preferences. The presentation of each course felt like as if we were receiving a gift. Service was attentive and gracious and the food was divine. The atmosphere is lovely with a hip (and not loud) playlist so conversation was easy. Meadowsweet made our special occasion a special event.

Excellent service, everyone from the host to the waiters made us feel so welcome. We were celebrating my friends's birthday and they did not disappoint. We both had the tasting menu adjusted for my nuts allergy and my friend's shellfish allergy. Each was excellently prepared and presented. Soooo flavorful!!! Excellent cocktails as well!! Would absolutely return, totally worth it!!
