Bartender was particularly great
Great place to have lunch in between wine tasting. Also, this is a nice place to stay for a weekend or get married.
Great service and view! Introduced my friends to the grill and they LIVED IT!
Food not great. Service ho hum. Experience did no meet expectations.
We enjoy fine dining and a nice atmosphere Meadowood has it.
Excellent service overall a very enjoyable time.
We were VERY disappointment yesterday when we took my sister for lunch to celebrate her birthday. All three of us ordered burgers. Two med rare that came out med well. My husband ordered med and his came out well. We were on time constraint so no time to send back. The burgers were also on the smaller side which could have contribute to how they were cooked. For $21 dollars you expect a decent size burger. Fries were good. Won’t come back for brunch. Much better quality down the road. Such a shame since the setting is so pretty.
Awesome food and Serivce. Really top notch
We were able to sit outside overlooking a few holes on the golf course. The weather was perfect, along with the food and service.
Very nice location, especially for a light lunch.
very good food and service. very quiet with beautiful golf course mountain vews
Enjoyable place for breakfast on Sunday morning with our three year old grandson. Mickey Mouse pancakes are a hit.
We have always enjoyed our lunch or dinner at The Grill. The ambiance is is welcoming and staff is always excellent.
The service was excellent but the food was not particularly exceptional. I had a salmon dish that didn’t have much flavor. As is frequently the case, the desserts were the highlight with a chocolate mousse that was light and delicious.
We came to celebrate an anniversary and were not disappointed. Food and service were excellent. We even received a dessert and glass of Shrambsberg Blanc de Blanc.
Exceptional service. Creative menu with a great use of color, texture and aromas that will awaken your senses.
We enjoyed the 4-course menu with wine pairings and let our server select the wines. She did not disappoint us! Each wine paired beautifully with each menu item we selected.
As this is a golf resort, there is a mix of people enjoying fine dining and those just coming off the course for drinks. Can be a little loud depending on the groups near you.
expected lots more from the Michelin rated kitchen - wow factor was missing
Staff was efficient
Food tasty but not finger- licking good. gazpacho was fairly acidy; pasta dish had more mouth appeal; did not think hummus on salmon dish combined well
Wonderful! Awesome view, friendly polite staff. Incredible dessert. A special treat, but worth it.
It’s always a perfect dining experience at meadowood . The service is exceptional. The ingredients and preparation were as good as it gets . I wish I lived close so I could enjoy this gem more often
We loved our experience. So quiet and peaceful with excellent service and outstanding food and wine. The view is so beautiful and we watched a croquet game which was fun!
It's a very secluded location. Good for romantic getaway. Not convenient for exploring Napa Valley, in my opinion. Grill has a very country club feel.
I have to say it’s been for as it is but this was very bland. Food was under-seasoned, uninspired. service a bit chaotic. 6 different servers. wine we ordered arrived after main course. for the level they aspire, falls far short
Went for brunch and enjoyed an outstanding ambiance with good food and service. I would recommend.
Took a while to get there was very nice place service was great limited menu and a bit pricey
Wonderful setting and good service. However, the food was good but not great. Better meals at a lower cost can be had at many local restaurants. If you are more interested in ambiance than the meal itself, you might have a different opinion .
The Grill is perfectly fine, but the inside decor is absolutely terrible. Especially the lighting and the very depressing carpets. Sitting outside is nice.
Beautiful views from the terrace. The food was delicious. Imaginative playing of dishes. Excellent wine menu. Friendly and expedient service.
Ordered Eggs Benedict for brunch and yes they were poached, but there was no runniness in the egg whatsoever. I had the server replace one of the eggs, and it came the same way. I decided to have the avocado and spinach with it instead of the traditional Canadian Bacon, which would have been fine, but the spinach was cooked and I was expecting raw. The wonderful Model muffin was ruined with soggy cooked spinach. The fruit was not up to par either, it looked beautiful, but the cantaloupe melon was hard and the blackberries were very sour. It's summer and we have wonderful ripe fruits now!
My friend ordered a cobb salad with a mustard dressing (a bit strong for her) and asked for the dressing on the side and it was delivered already tossed.
She and I were both too hungry to either have our meals re-cooked as ordered or replace them with something else. Our spouses meals were served correctly and they both enjoyed them.
Everyone was very courteous, and the ambiance was nice, but I would not return for the food!
Will not go back. Service was poor, Food was average and drinks were not up to speed.
Thay must have new people running the show. For the price the food and drinks must be very good all the time. Good Bye Meadowwood.
It's very casual and the setting is nice. At 6pm it was dead but earlier that day when I tried on Open Table to move the reservation back, there were no options.
My drink was delicious, the warm olives were very good and the service was friendly and great. I thought the food was fine.
This is one of my favorite lunch spots in Napa for small and larger groups. Beautiful serene ambiance with lovely teak seating. Fresh healthy gourmet food. Excellent service. See the attached photos of the lunch items.
Beautiful setting, service and food! The wait staff were extremely accommodating for a member of our party with Celiac disease, and also made a birthday celebration extra special with a decadent dessert and some balloons. Highly recommend!
Great place! Had a nice quiet breakfast to top off our Anniversary weekend. Food and service was fantastic!
Lovely interesting food
Great views over the golf course
Watch out for biting insects if you sit outside in the evening. Bring mosquito spray
My wife is vegan, and this can be a challenge finding a restaurant even in Napa Valley.
What an exceptional experience we had by choosing to dine at the Meadowood Grill.
It was her birthday, and my research led us to the Grill as it was noted as having vegetarian and vegan options.
The menu is not expansive, but has great choices, and from the moment we started to discuss our preferences we were assured that our choices could be adapted to a vegan course.
My wife selected the pasta dish which was perfectly adjusted to vegan and I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken dish I am not a vegan but enjoy vegan as well as vegetarian options - we shared the green bean appetizer, and the dessert was a delicious raspberry sorbet, with fresh blackberry - delivered with a candle!!
We would highly recommend the entire dining experience regardless of your individual food preference.
Our server, Audrey, was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable and all the food was exceptional including the bread course!
We live in Napa but it is an easy Silverado Trail commute to its location just North of St Helena.
Thank you Meadowood
Excellent food and the quality of the food was fresh and outstanding. The service was also exceptional.
Guests from the east coast.
This place is beautiful and has wonderful service. This restaurant was perfect for a relaxing late morning lunch. I can’t wait to come back!
A beautiful place to celebrate a Birthday with our family! Wonderful food and artistically presented. A bit expensive, but we knew that going in. All in all, a great memory!
Service was exemplary. Food was good but some of the deep fried zucchini squash was a little over cooked and oily. Pleasant ambiance for sure.
But the I did think it was on the pricy side. 4 apps. 1 main course. 2 glasses of wine and 2 cocktails came out to $290 after tip.
With that said, we very much enjoyed our time there.
Food was good, Salmon was like butter; but could have used a glaze. Tabouleh -- really? Cheese plate was good, but over-priced. Salad was tomatoes; again overpriced. Dessert was Chocolate Mousse -- good, but again overpriced. There are other restaurants in Napa with a much better value.
Everything was wonderful; food; service; view etc. We were lucky to get in on short notice.
