Delicious meal at Pomelia! The space is stylish, yet unpretentious in a way that makes you feel like you're in a cute Italian cafe. The food is straightforward and DELICIOUS. Plus, the staff was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was as it should be from drinks to dessert. We'll definitely come back!

Sedgley Place is a hidden gem I wish I’d discovered sooner! Tucked off the beaten path, this spot wows with its cozy, eclectic ambiance that feels like a warm hug. The flavors are bold and delightful, with generous portions that leave you satisfied and smiling. It’s a perfect blend of charm and quality—run, don’t walk, to this treasure! Highly recommend!

The wait was long. We waited 2 hours for a large table. Made reservations online not knowing they don't make reservations on Google.

LL Bean couldn't have wanted it better. The lodge is sequestered under huge white pines along the edge of the most beautiful lake on the East Coast. Cocktails are on the veranda and randomly outside wherever you wish and the cocktail hour is laid-back, as are the table times. Once you have your reservation, the table is yours for the evening, so you go in to eat when you're good and ready. Men must wear a jacket, But otherwise it's country casual. The food is straightforward American fair and is excellent. It will not compete for exotic with the Old Port in downtown Portland, but this is not why you come here. If you want an excellent straightforward meal in an atmosphere that is almost indescribable, but something out of "On Golden Pond", this is your place.!!!
