My review would have been higher but the service was just so poor it over-shadows how good the food was. We had a reservation and were seated right away but our server came and asked us if we were ready to order and when we said yes, she said she was not ready and left for 15 minutes, delivering food, going to the kitchen, etc. When we ordered we waited another long time for the food and when we complained, the manager and another staff member, did get our food right away. I had the Beyond Beef burger and it and the sweet potato fries were excellent, my husband loved the chicken wings and everything else was good.
The food and service was really great!
Amazing food!! Great service. Kellie was the best. The chef came out to check on those dining. The food was great. It tasted amazing - something that will be remembered for a very long time. The scallops melted in my mouth. The braised short ribs were sensational. Both food and service were perfect. I highly recommend this for any occasion.
Chow fun noodles! Yep, add a protein with a side of good conversation makes for a great evening.
We went two nights in a row it was so good! The servers were outstanding and the food was superb.
Arranged a business meeting for my boss and his associates here. At first they were skeptical that they were in a hotel restaurant, but after they enjoyed their meals they had nothing but great things to say! They loved the ambiance, the food was outstanding and the service was better than they could've hoped for! #BetterThanExpected #WeWillReturn GREAT JOB MCKINLEY!
Excellent service. Very comfortable place to meet a group of friends for lunch. Great salads.
Very nice restaurant and great customer service. I arrived early and I was seated upon entry. They have a nice breakfast buffet but I decided to go with the Wet Breakfast Burrito. It was really good and worth it. This thing will keep you full all day and is a must if you love burritos and Mexican food!
Felt like I was enjoying a luxury high end meal. they have a delicious gluten free (vegan too) Asian bowl that I finished off the next day for lunch. I am putting this restaurant in my rotation of date night go-to’s.
Always a good place for a business meal with solid offerings for a hotel restaurant.
The food was good but over priced. Menu outdated. Drinks from bar took a king time and arrived part way though our dinner. Service was average and I would suggest they train the staff to not drop F bomb while explaining the dish
Great food, great service. The staff provided great service. They were friendly but not obtrusive. Excellent value. I love the early morning hours. It works great for my busy schedule.
The service, and location was excellent.
The food however was lacking in flavor, warmth and taste. I ordered Fish & chips, fish was soggy and tasteless and the fries were cold, coleslaw was like eating a mouth full of mayonnaise. Not a good eating experience!!
As always, the food and service was great. They didn’t try to hurry us out after eating.
This place is a gem! The food and service are exceptional. The comfortable friendly atmosphere makes me want to come back and bring friends.
Loved the ambiance. Employees were wonderful. Food was good.
Barbara took excellent care of us. We really enjoyed the ambiance on the patio. There was supposed to be a dress code but, apparently, not enforced.
Service was good. Prices were high for the quality of food but again, the staff was good.
The staff was amazing . The problem was the manager David. This man should not be working with the public. He was so nasty towards my party we almost left. We had the audacity to show up at 4:50pm for a 5pm reservation. He did not like that. We were the only customers in the restaurant so you would think he would have rolled out the red carpet. We also witnessed him berate and point his finger in the face of the young hostess. It was sad to watch how her demeanor changed after being disrespected by the manager. The restaurant was totally empty and I now understand why . It’s really unfortunate because the food was amazing , and our server Kellie was wonderful. The manager is definitely the problem .
Providing the highest level of hospitality is our number one priority and we sincerely apologize for falling short of meeting your expectations. As a teachable moment, we have shared your feedback with the appropriate associates to ensure the necessary guidelines are in place to prevent these issues from occurring in the future.
We came for a Saturday brunch at 10am. Patricia was our server and she was fantastic, pleasant, attentive but not intrusive.
The selection was excellent. Lots of choices for all types of diet restrictions (not so sure about vegan).
It would have been nice to have GF bread or pastry for the buffets but that was all that was missing.
Our group of 8 were split between buffet orders and individual meals and everyone enjoyed their selections.
Also the buffet price was an excellent deal, drinks were included. And, it was the same cost as an individual meal with a drink.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I would not recommend this restaurant. The pictures looks nice on open table for this restaurant but the food is poor quality. There are many nice restaurants in and around this place. Not worth even trying it!
The lamb chops were great.
Excellent Cheeseburger and Sweet Potato Fries! Excellent Service.
Lovely setting. Good service. Easy parking. Excellent burger. Always enjoy eating at this quiet location.
Expensive hotel restaurant. However, the food is good and our server was very nice. You just expect to pay a bit more in a hotel. Pretty good place.
Celebrated my mother's birthday with family. Food was fresh and tasted very "clean". Service was outstanding, server was quite the host, helpful with selections for the entire party, all were very pleased with their meal.
The food was very good—farm to table as advertised. Wait staff young and inexperienced. Definitely not up to casual fine dining standards.
Our group came to enjoy dinner together and we all can't stop raving about it! Perfect hidden spot!!!Service was incredible, dinner was absolutely delicious and our cocktails were spot on. We love the fact that it wasn't crowded. We will definitely be back and recommend Mckinley's Grill to others!
Brought a group of nine here for a graduation lunch
Chose a table by a shaded window inside
The outside is also very nice
It was a nice quiet gem after a noisy crowded graduation
Manager was kind enough to flex the menu and allow some dinner items to be served at lunch so my guests would be more comfortable.
The food was more expensive but the quality did match the price.
The organic food was excellent.
A bit pricey, but the food was good and the service excellent. They use locally grown, seasonal ingredients, so menu changes. Only thing missing was bread with dinner -- "we don't have it right now" ....
We went for an early Mother’s Day celebration. My mother and father were both extremely happy with their meals. The service was excellent and attentive. We were lucky, it was a slow night.
Wonderful, friendly server. The food was good and the place was quiet enough that our nearly deaf 97-year-old grandmother could have a conversation with us.
Had a very nice lunch on the outdoor patio with an old friend. We chose it as a half-way point from where we live and it was good choice. Though on the edge of the parking lot of the Sheraton, there are so many trees and bushes, you aren't aware, and there's no traffic noise. Especially noteworthy is the large specimen tree, a Moreton Bay Fig, at the edge of the patio that is just beautiful. It's hard to judge the entire menu off of one salad, but it stands as good and tasty as most nicer restaurants I've been to and at a similar price point. Service was very friendly and attentive.
Our server Naomi or Ruth don't remember her name was outstanding. She was attentive to our needs and had an upbeat personality. I celebrated my 20 years as a two time cancer survivor with friends. We had a grand time.
The menu was to small this was Fathers day there was more help then customer.
Bad service, verry expensive, raw food, not alot of choices in other words lousy place to eat.
My family and I went to Easter Brunch and we arrived at the beginning of the brunch. THe decorations and food looked very well displayed and it was also very well layed out for everyone to get to with ease. Our seating was very lovely in the atrium area . It was a beautiful setting with a nice view of the outside area. It was a pleasant ambiance and the food was enjoyed by my entire family. Very nice relaxing day!
Adequate and awful. The server seemed to have little ability to describe menu items and was extremely slow.
Service was very slow even though there was very few patrons in the restaurant. Splitting the bill was a nightmare. Also the prices were quite high.
The menu was not as it was advertised on their website. The service was good and the prices were affordable, but the atmosphere was more coffee shop than expected.
