   The restaurant has very slow service which is a result of the kitchen. Dinner service was slightly faster but the breakfast is incredibly slow. Do not dine here if you are in a hurry. The actual food itself is good and the staff is nice. I just wish they would hire either more kitchen staff or better trained.

   We highly recommend this place for the food alone. The service was slow at first and picked up as we progressed. Beer selection is very, very poor. Ambiance was perfect except setup took place after we arrived.

   Food was great, service was mediocre, especially for the 20% automatic tip for a party of 6. Outdoor patio seating was really nice until another customer decided to turn on music on his phone while seated by himself. Wait staff made no attempt to ask him to turn it off.

   We came in on a Friday morning for breakfast, only a limited menu and breakfast (half empty) buffet with omelet station was available. It gave a very early post COVID opening vibe. Our waitress Patricia was very kind and as attentive as she could be being the only waitress on the floor. There were two managers lingering around watching everyone with very bad attitudes, the male manager stepped in to help at a table a couple of times and he was very rude and made it clear he didn’t want to be there. The omelet from the station wasn’t cooked all the way and just looked like a blob, the breakfast buffet was just like a continental breakfast; toast, cereal, packaged yogurt, old sausage, hard potatoes bacon, burnt oatmeal, cheese and meat board and French toast. This restaurant has so much potential I hope there are some changes coming soon.

   We never got greeted by a server. Finally when I stopped a server (Ryan) he asked if we wanted a check, I told him we never even got our drinks. Later he walked up and I asked, “Are you our server?” he said, “Yes.” However, he never introduced himself and we had to flag him down for drinks. Shortly after we got drinks he handed us our check. We said “We actually wanted mimosas.” He never explained or offered them to us. Even though we heard him telling the table behind us all about them as soon as they sat down. For the price we paid, we had absolutely horrible service. Would not go back or recommend it to anyone.

   Was not told we’d have to be seated in a conference room because they were setting up a separate event in the actual restaurant. We were only given drinks when we were first seated but told us to hold off on ordering even though we were ready. Then after an hour no one had come to our table and the staff only became more attentive once we complained. Another table even got up to leave because they were not served at all. They were so short staffed that I’m assuming the hotel staff started bringing our food in an attempt to help but they were struggling with holding the plates of food. I understand the issues that came about, however I was disappointed there was no warning about switching venues and the poor service.

   Arrived at 5 o’clock for 5:00 PM reservation. Requested outdoor seating and was told that that was not available due to Mother’s Day being the next day! I explained that I had specifically requested an outdoor table, but everyone just shrugged. Food was completely unremarkable. Service was mediocre. Wish I would have found some place else to dine. Will never go back.

   Reservation for 10:15am outside. Arrived at 10:20am due to having to pay $20 deposit for parking and waiting on security. Arrived and was told I have 10 minutes to order food because the kitchen closes at 10:30am. Told no seating outside because they already assigned the table to other parties. Food was small portions, and did not get drinks because the waiter forgot. They also ran out of potatoes and said all sides are a bowl of fruit which they also forgot to bring. Would not recommend.

    First off the link to the menu on Open Table is very outdated. The prices have increased substantially as we found out when we sat down. The menu is very limited and the prices are way out of line compared to the amount and quality of food given. $60 for a small thinly cut steak? $22 for a very small bowl of fried calamari? You get a bit of mashed potatoes and a vegetable with it but nothing else not even bread or soup/salad unless you pay extra. Maybe this is how restaurants tied in with hotels are since out of town quests may just eat there for convenience but definitely not worth the money.

    I would avoid eating this place, it’s definitely not worth the time, and most definitely not worth paying $30 to reserve. I’m not saying this because I had a bad experience, I’m saying that because this restaurant is extremely poor venue including the food. Don’t waste your time.

    Two things, the smell they pump Into the hot overflowed in the restaurant, and the smell was so strong and then we had to sit on a small to top, which was literally connected to a party for not exactly what we wanted. We like the atmosphere. We like the restaurant, but sitting literally almost at the same table with another party was not cool they should put a larger partition and then they should give a couple more options on their menu.

    The food and service are exelent. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. We were dining in a party of four and all ordered different dishes and all were vey satisfied. One small thing was unfortunate. We are all average build heights 5.7 to 5.9. Three people out of four found the dining chairs uncomfortable and it was really hard to eat while sitting in them. Either had to slide all the way back in these extremely deep and quite high chairs and the feet were dangling in the air. If moved forward to touch the ground and slip furter out of the chair, it felt like the cair will run away from you and you had to use the table to hold on to. It was quite uncomfortable and hard to enjoy the excellent food and service.

    3 of the 5 of us had the Shredded Cobb Salad with chicken. Salad was really fresh and crisp; chicken served on the side in a separate dish but sliced. I am not a big fan of chicken, but it was the best, moistest chicken breast I have ever eaten. Was disappointed that when we ordered the Black Cherry ice cream they told us they were out of it and it was only 7:30 p.m., and the restaurant was not overly crowded. We think the waitress may have been overwhelmed with the amount of tables she was attending to, so service was not great, just OK. I would go back and try it again.

    My son took me on Saturday to Mc Kinnelys and everything was great! The service, the food, the atmosphere all excellent! I didn’t know it was there! I feel like I discovered a gem, and I definitely will be back! I would recommend this steak house to everyone!
