Slow service and server completely forgot to enter my order. My husband finished half his meal before I even got mine. Place was practically empty, even on a Saturday night. Used a gift certificate, and learned it wasn’t useable for their specials. Overall, terrible experience for a date night!
The service was outstanding and the food was good. We had wings, onion rings, and salads. The Reisling was ok but the Dirty Martini and Vodka Cran were awesome. On arrival, the hostess informs us there is open seating outside. The hostess does not tell you that there is no service outside, so we are there waiting. Finally, we ask back at the podium and then she tells us. The furniture outside is well worn and is obviously for smokers. Perhaps a cleaning and paint would help. Overall we had a good time once inside and we left a good tip for the waiter.
Bad service. We told them we were celebrating a birthday and they did nothing for us. Music wasn't anything special, but extremely loud. Prices are way too high. The atmosphere was like being inside a dimly lit garage. Not a nice experience at all. Would go to other pubs than this one.
Sat down .. waited 20 min waiter came over introduced himself never saw him again. Place is a dump .. after 20 min just walked out
Absolutely horrible, hostess appeared as we were bugging and stated no reservation was done even when I showed her the email she stated she doesn’t have it. This was after we waited 15 mins to be attended too as the sign said to wait to be seated and then after waiting and being told no reservations she stated that they didn’t have a table to accommodate us. Mind you we were a party of 7 to celebrate husband bday and drove across town. We will not be back and we have passed on our bad experience to co workers and Yelp. This place needs training on how to treat just ppl and how to be customer friendly. While walking out there was a woman so drunk she was falling down stairs and police were walking in. We had a great time at PT instead and spent $400. I guess McFadden’s lose and PT gain.
quiet , good food, decent service
Server was nice and quick to respond to our requests.
seemed like there was insufficient staff. Food took a long time and one meal was delayed because of their mistake. Always had to ask, waiter never checked if we needed anything. Wasn't sure who our waiter was because other staff kept helping. Was told they had an order for 40 pizzas!!
I really enjoy coming here because the drink specials are amazing! BUT the DJ that plays on Friday and Saturday nights sucks. He doesn't pay attention to the crowd and what songs they like. Only playing 30 seconds of a song is very irritating and disappointing. It was hard to dance to. Plus the waitress never came back to our table to take our order for more drinks like she said she was going to.
We met for a birthday gathering, speaking was blasting over the table, we asked them to turn it down, they said they did, but noise was still ridiculous, Waiter could barely be heard. Also, you are nickeled and dimed for everything, mayo, pickles,, and grilled onions all had a charge, we were never informed til we got the bill! Who charges for mayonnaise??!! Also, the Waiter did not speak loud enough for us to even know he was there, seemed a bit timid! This is maybe better for night life, not a great dinner spot!
It's so dark inside because they have most of the place blocked off due to lack of business. The food is horrible. While the original recipes seem to be fine, the quality of ingredients and execution are flawed. Every dish we ordered was terrible. It's a shame because the place is really decked out in the Irish theme and has potential. It looks like they ran out of money and are riding out the lease praying for a miracle.
We were greeted by the waitress telling us we couldn't order any specials because we used a groupon. Ordered Fish and chips, came with ranch instead of tarter sauce. Waitress never filled our drinks. Irish Pub? more like a dark loud teenage rave. Fish was good but not worth the $40.
Service was great but the cod in the fish and chips was chewy and the corned beef and cabbage was not the best. We were expecting superior Irish food but that was not the case.
Food was delicious as always. The Reuben was very good and a large size. The tomato bisque soup was outstanding.
My friends and I stopped here before our movie, and wow was I impressed! The happy hour food and drink specials hit the spot! The ambience when walking in is a true American Irish Pub. This restaurant is huge! The decor and hand painting on the walls adds a great feeling to their Irish name. Service was quick and efficient, especially since he knew we were headed to the movies.
We got a few appetizers to share; buffalo chicken tenders, sweet chili Hawaiian wings, Irish nachos and my favorite, brussel spouts. The tenders were bomb, good size pieces of tenders and I could tell it wasn't a frozen product. The wings were tossed in homemade sauce, but it was very juicy, and it wasn't breaded, which is a huge plus. The Irish nachos was composed of tater tots, cheese sauce, bacon bits and some green onions! It was so yummy, we almost placed another order. My personal favorite was the brussel sprouts! They prepare it with bacon, blue cheese crumbles and balsamic glaze, it didn't seem like it was healthy at all!
Something that wowed me here was there menu, I thought it would just be all fried bar food, but it is far from that! They have your traditional Irish food items, such as fish & chips, corned beef & cabbage, shepherds pie, etc. I was also impressed with their "American food" selection, I saw pizza, chicken pot pie and lemon chicken, to name a few.
Had it not been for our movie time restraint, we would have had entrees here too. I saw a server walk by us with an order of fish & chips, and I've never seen such a huge slab of fish on a plate! I will definitely be back for a full meal at a later time. It seems they have a DJ and lots of dancing here too.
Loud, terrible service and food.
went in on a Monday night to meet with friends....great atmosphere for a Monday, MLB playoffs were on, with sound!! bartender was quick....GREAT food(Fish-n-chips,ckn pot pie & MacBurger), which was a solid bonus for what i thought was a "bar first" establishment. Heard about a nice weekend pizza deal, so ill most definitely be back with the family for that & SOOOOON!!!!!!!
My sandwich was very good but my husband's corned beef was a tad fatty - potatoes and cabbage were good and beer was ice cold, which was a plus
Fantastic food and great wait staff! We will be back!
So loud our server couldn't hear our questions and orders. She really tried but the sound system is on a timer (WTF). We couldn't use our Groupon on happy hour items (money is money).
The food is really good, though the cook must have a rosemary herb ranch as there was so much in the stew, the food did come out in a timely manner and was nice and hot. Beer selection was limited as two of my choices were unavailable.
My burger was undercooked and cold. Ordered well done. The person that ordered corned beef couldn't eat it, the meat was very fatty:
Another ordered the pie and asked specially if the gravy was a stout gravy and the waitress said no and it was.
Wont be back!
It was so hot. We asked for the air conditioning to be turned down, however it remained incredibly hot. We all were sweating while dinning. 😡 Otherwise, food and drinks were wonderful.
Our food came out quick and tasted delicious! Our server was really sweet and prompt. McFadden's really was a great find for our group.
