Good brunch, great service. Duck gumbo was really nice.
Our server, Selena, was excellent! Very attentive and always smiling and friendly. The food was good but the duck did have more fat than normal.
Dinner party of five / food was good
Great atmosphere! Excellent service! Amazing food!
The food, atmosphere, and service were outstanding! Definitely will be back
Wonderful in every way!
First time at this restaurant but will not be the last. Really enjoyed the vist
Great meal! Food and service were excellent- an underrated Oxford staple...
Lamb app was perfect.
Oxford has several beyond wonderful restaurants but McEwens is my all time favorite - and that is saying a lot!
Great spot for working lunch. The staff allowed us to discuss business effectively without interruptions and the food was prompt and excellent! Definitely a win.
We had a great time celebrating our Anniversary. The food was excellent.
The service was slow to began. Way too long for the drinks. Food was good, but way overpriced.
3 people, bill was over 150dollars. No desserts.
McEwans is the top spot in Oxford Ms for me! Very good food, Nice Atmosphere, Great drinks specials, excellent service.... if you are looking for fine dining in Oxford this is your place!!
McEwens’s is one of our Oxford favorites! We love Sunday brunch here.
McEwens is consistently good and is our favorite restaurant in Oxford.
Came here for an early Valentine’s Day dinner. Started with the lobster roll appetizer, super tasty and they did not skimp on the amount of lobster at all. We both ordered the pork chop special which was different, but also very delicious. I would highly recommend the brownie and creme brûlée for dessert!
One of my favorite restaurants in Oxford, I love the grits and filet.
Unfortunately, they had a kitchen fire so the restaraunte was VERY smokey. It ruined our experience.
McEwen's is my favorite restaurant in Oxford, but I had the Cobb salad with chicken tenders yesterday, and the tenders were just small pieces of crust with little or no meat. It was as though they had these bits left over and ran them in the microwave. The rest of the salad was nice, but that aspect -- the chicken tenders -- was definitely bad.
Had not heard of it before, but we found it through Open Table when arriving in Oxford to visit our Ole Miss son. Very nice menu with good variety, but I had the lamb special. My family members ordered off the menu (pasta, fish, shrimp). It was all excellent. The portions were large, leaving no room for dessert. Pleasant wait staff. It looked like a well stocked bar, although we did not partake. Big screen TV playing the NBA game (volume in silent, thankfully). Parking is always in short supply in downtown, but the walk was not far. Overall, an excellent find. We’ll be back.
Delicious food! Loved the sea bass dish.
Great place to go for a birthday dinner.
Outstanding food for all 6 guests. Very enjoyable atmosphere and attentive service.
Lovely restaurant with great service. The Chilean Sea Bass was amazing!
As usual, we were seated promptly and served attentively. The duck gumbo was delicious although it was definitely a different recipe than I have had in the past. We always enjoy our meal!
Recall the food being better. I heard the there is a new chef here. Service was chaotic. Waiters confused our orders twice with that of other patrons.
The fried oysters and gumbo were exceptional. The shrimp and crawfish etouffee over grits was delicious. Friendly service and a nice hand crafted cocktail menu topped off the evening.
It was our first time to eat dinner at McEwens. The food and service were excellent. We even left something on the table and by the time we got home our phone was ringing tell us the item would be waiting in the restaurant office. We'll definitely be back.
Always a great meal!
Always enjoy the service and the food at McEwans Oxford!
Never disappointed dining here whether for a formal dinner or an informal lunch. My favorite restaurant in Oxford.
The food was very good and our service was excellent!! We will definitely be back!!
We were welcomed, served and pampered with great food, drink and stellar service! A wonderful dining experience!
We had a really nice dining experience. Delicious food and great service.
Ran out of buns for the two burgers we ordered.
Ran out of beignets.
Burger was too rare to eat (ordered medium).
Very poor day for a usually excellent restaurant.
