We had a great time at McEwans. Our server, Byrum, took such good care of us. Cocktails and wine were tasty. One of is vegan and had the Trust Me platter, she loved it. The Redfish was very flavorful and moist. We all had a good time.

Fantastic as always. This is one our favorites for everyday dining, special occasions, etc. You just can't go wrong. From our sever Chris to the Manager John and the bartender Amber, we had the best experience for our 25th Anniversary celebration! They have the best grilled salmon and butternut squash risotto and I get it every time. My husband has the featured item which was a perfectly cooked red snapper. We tried the duck enchiladas this time as an appetizer and they were absolutely fantastic. The bourbon, wine and beer selection is top notch as well.

I’ve been here several times. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the chicken, it was a little cool in temp and a bit too salty for my taste. Nice setting but was very loud last night. Service was attentive. Decent wine list, a bit proud on some but value if you look. Worth a stop! We will be back! Memphis seems to have a high turnover of “good” restaurants this is a staple on our rounds when visiting.

Short rib pasta is maybe the best dish available in downtown Memphis. Service is always great. If you’re into bourbon they’ve got a page long menu, as the owner is always hunting for bottles. Key lime for dessert was tangy & delicious.

Completely delicious with great service. Lindsey was our waitress and paid great attention to each of her tables and specifically advised us on the menu and more. We usually come here for lunch but were even more impressed with the dinner we had. We will be coming back and asking for fabulous Lindsey!!

I found McEwen on Yelp as I was searching for a fine dining experience in Memphis during our stay. McEwen’s did not disappoint. My husband and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary and thanks to the staff at McEwen’s they made it a memorable evening for us. Our waiter, John Michael, was gracious from beginning to end and made great recommendations. Unfortunately we did not get the name of the owner/manager, but we enjoyed conversing with him throughout our dining experience. We enjoyed speaking with him more at the end of our meal. It felt like being amongst friends. Another thing we enjoyed was the music and quiet ambience. The food was amazing. We began with delicious cocktails. I had the Planters Punch your Lights Out (refreshing and tasty), my husband had a Jack & 7 …because when in Tennessee ! We then had an Iceberg Wedge & a Goat Cheese Salad…definitely some of the best we’ve had. For dinner my husband had the Creole Spice Braised Pork, while I opted for the Beef Tenderloin with Ruby Port Demi-Glace, Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes with Crispy Bacon & Scallions, Grilled Asparagus. We had a delicious wine with our meal and finished the meal with a scrumptious Key Lime Pie brought to us with an anniversary candle and well wishes from a jovial female staff member. We will definitely recommend McEwen’s to anyone traveling to Memphis. One of the best dining experiences ever!

Second time I've dined here. It's good. Our server and the host were attentive and friendly. Nothing to complain about, but also nothing special. Zero ambiance, decent, passable food. My wife and I don't do seafood, and maybe this is more the restaurant's specialty? The meal was $135 with tip and we didn't do wine or cocktails. There are better options in the area in this price range.

Pleasantly surprised by McEwens. Everything was wonderful - the decor, atmosphere, service but most especially the food. We enjoyed 2 seafood meals that were paired with sides that complimented the fish. Simply delicious. If I were ever to return to Memphis again - doubtful - I would certainly be back at McEwens.

Going through Memphis on our way north we had a fabulous experience at McEwens. So going back south (home) we just had to stop in again and weren’t disappointed! Bert, one of the owners happened to be in and stopped by our table and told us a lot about the restaurant. I’m kind of a foodie guy so usually order the chef’s specials and they were really good. Nice wine list and a very good cocktail selection too.
