We had steak and it was superb. Everything about the dinner was A+, including service by Jason. Beautiful setting, beautifully Christmas decorated Oxford Hotel lobby. Perfect evening.
Service and ambiance are great. Swordfish was excellent, but I was very disappointed in the asparagus side dish which consisted of large, unflavorful asparagus. I expected more (like small asparagus) for $8.
It is a classy yet affordable place with a lot of charm and the food is excellent.
Our meals were awesome. The salmon special was terrific according to our friends. Personally I had the sea scallops which are always wonderful! Great restaurant. We had friends in from out of the country and this is always where they want to meet for dinner when they come to Denver!
Used to be one of our favorite, go-to restaurants for special occasions - but not as good as it used to be. Menu no longer has daily fresh fish, sauces and salads are not as yummy, prices are higher and thumping music seemed out of place. Won't be back for a while.
food was great. service was even better. our server was Katie. outstanding!
We were completely amazed at the poor quality and flavor of our meals here. For the caliber and price of this restaurant you would expect a better meal than McDonalds however that was not the case. There was even part of our dinner that was inedible altogether. We would definitely recommend passing on this place!!
My friend and I needed to talk about her future job search strategies, so I wanted a restaurant where we could actually have a conversation. We had a great experience at McCormick and Schmick's! Great food, service, and a successful plan was developed for the job search.
Had Parmesan chicken and was great for the taste buds. Wine prices were reasonable. Service was absolutely great. Very attentive
Our group reservation was booked in a private room, even though we didn't request it -- nice touch but actually too cavernous for a table of 7, plus the acoustics of piped-in music in a confined space ended up competing against our conversation. The server was extremely attentive and patient despite two particular challenges we presented: (1) Two guests were very late, and we refused to order until everyone had arrived; and (2) One guest neglected to announce her food allergy up front, and had to ask for her meal to be re-prepared without certain ingredients. The food was tasty and a good value, and I got to enjoy leftovers for two days (I took home my friend's meal since she couldn't eat it and I wouldn't allow the restaurant to comp it.)
They have changed the menu from the daily menu they used for years. I liked the fresh fish daily menu much better.
The front dining room is very nice. The food is only average. Drinks are very expensive. A glass of house Chardonnay was $9.50. Service just mediocre. I always enjoyed dining here in the past, but it will probably be a very long time before I return. There are so many other restaurants in the same area that provide a better dining experience.
Lots of turkey. We reserved a table for Thanksgiving and their $24.99 prix fixe dinner. The turkey was plentiful, the gravy good, the service was friendly but haphazard, the rest was mediocre to poor. Poorly plated, veggies past their prime, and an extra charge for dessert. Not recommending.
I've eaten there several times but this time was very disappointing. The food came out with a hard crust as if it were sitting under the heat lamp waiting for someone to order it. I'll still eat there because I know they can do better. Just don't know what happen then.
While I enjoyed the total experience, we were a little intimidated by the huge serving size. We both ordered the turkey dinner. We could have ordered one dinner, split it and fed another person with the leftovers! My suggestion is to lower the price and give a smaller portion. I felt guilty being served all that food and knowing there are so many people who don't have enough to eat.
