I absolutely love this place!! My daughter and I went here last year for Christmas, and this year for Thanksgiving, and as always, we had a great holiday dinner here. Great food and great atmosphere - the Christmas decorations were up in the bar/restaurant, and also in the adjoining Oxford Hotel, so it was very festive. Hanging out in the bar before dinner was also great, as always. Highly recommend McCormick's in LoDo.

Great Thanksgiving dinner. Ample quantities so we had leftovers - something we didn't anticipate when we decided to go out to dinner instead of cooking at home this year. Everything was delicious. Nice alternative for our group of four this year.

Service has deteriorated noticeably at this restaurant since being bought out by Landry's. I waited twenty minutes for a glass of wine (was told there was a miscommunication); the waiter did not offer ground pepper with the salads; my fish came with a broth which needed a spoon...I asked for one but by the time it arrived I had finished the meal and the broth was cold. This will no longer be our 'go-to' fish restaurant in Denver.

Our waitstaff was exceptional dealing with two young boys who were both sleepy and cranky. The food, seating, and ambiance was outstanding. A wonderful experience.

We had a great meal. We chose McCormick's because they honored veterans with a free meal. All the good was exceptional. It was a bit noisy but we seemed to be in a family section and we did bring our children. Overall great for sievialnoccasions when you are willing to spend a little more.

Went for Veterans day dinner, would have liked to see more steak options. Vegetables were under cooked, so I was disappointed. Overall a good place to eat.

Everything was excellent, but considering it was a free veteran's meal(I did tip over30% after the fact)without knowing what if any the tip would be, the server Emily, was one of the nicest I've ever had anywhete. She made me and my service Malamute dog Sadie, feel more than welcome and at ease.

Thank You

The restaurant was fantastic the food was delicious. The service was superb. The server went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We had an opportunity to meet the manager Tim he was a true professional and certainly knows how to run a top notch restaurant.

The food was great, as always. The atmosphere is comfortable, sort of hushed and clubby but cheerful.

I had a misunderstanding of what was on the menu and was unpleasantly surprised by the price when the bill came and mentioned it to the server but didn't want to make a thing of it because of other people at the table. I'll make sure next time that the server and I are on the same page before ordering.

The atmosphere was great. Very intimate and quiet. It was our 5 year wedding anniversary and they had printed special menus so that was great. Not so great on the other hand was the table in the middle of the room, the server, and the food. Server was very scattered and not attentive or helpful. Our food came out cold. The lobster bisque though was amazing.

Power Lunch Place! Had a great business lunch, not crowded, and fairly attentive service. We enjoyed the fresh halibut, added some tropical salsa and lobster mashed potatoes, so everything was super fresh, tasty, and worth the price. The clam chowder is solid and tasty, a must have overtime! It is great having this restaurant at the Oxford Hotel.

Very disappointing. My husband and I hadn't been there in years. The sourdough bread and creme brûlée were like days of old (yummy) but that's about it. I sent back the side salad I ordered because it was full of wilted baby greens and over dressed. The blackened swordfish was good but not great. My husband got a bowl of the crab corn chowder but it was more thick cream than crab. Max the supervisor did make it right by apologizing for the salad and comping us dessert. However I don't think we'll be back anytime soon. 3 of the toilets were clogged in the women's restroom. I think the owners should watch a few episodes of Restaurant Impossible.

We really enjoyed McCormicks. Our server, Madison, was outstanding. He was attentive, respectful and very personable. The food was delicious and the fresh, warm sour dough bread was absolutely amazing. We had the chocolate lava cake for dessert which was unbelievably tasty and indulgent. We will definitely return!

Always the food and service is top notch! The whole experience at Oxford hotel is great. McCormick's is located close to light rail at Union Station which is very convenient since we live only three blocks from a light rail station. We especially enjoy the seafood dishes when we dine at McCormicks. The dishes are prepared with pride. The presentation is fabulous!

We loved the private room and appreciated not having to ask for it! Everyone enjoyed their food but I have to be better about asking how each restaurant cooks their meat. Mine seemed Medium Rare but otherwise everything was great!

We really appreciate finding a restaurant downtown that is not LOUD! McCormick's is quiet, historic, with great service and food. The Flounder was excellent. The spiced pear martini is outstanding and original. We will return, if for no other reason than that we could actually have a conversation without yelling at each other.

We are from the Chicago area and chose this downtown Denver restaurant as the venue to celebrate our Colorado son's engagement. The one completely positive aspect of the evening was that the manager allowed our party of 9 to use one of the private dining rooms -- a huge plus. It gave us privacy and allowed for pleasant conversation without interruptions from a nearby noisy bar area.

However, as we soon discovered, the restaurant's food was a major disappointment and the service was "scarce." We waited forever for the first course and several of us did not receive the item we had ordered. Others were given plates with major ingredients missing. (Not delivered as described in the menu.) Though some enjoyed their entree, others received plates that had been sitting too long before being delivered to the table. We had only one waiter for the 9 of us -- no assistant, no sommelier. At one point our daughter began to serve the wine!

Because this was a special evening, many of us ordered dessert. The people seated around me had creme brûlée and the tops were burned! Not carmelized, mind you -- but burned!

When one is celebrating a special occasion, it's not proper to draw attention away from the celebrants to complain about the food. One wishes to appear the gracious host who has made an intelligent restaurant choice.

But here's some advice: don't come to this establishment if you want a top quality dining experience! Surely there are places in Denver that are worthy of an important special occasion meal!
