We stay at the Stratosphere monthly and dine at McCalls every time.
The steaks are excellent but we are leaning toward the Mahi Mahi and Salmon lately. Both are cooked perfectly, very moist and tasty. Service is always very good. Prices are fair for the quality of food.
Bad service and average food and fish was not fresh
We had christmas dinner in this great ambiance with delicious food and good service.
Great service by an enthusiastic and friendly waiter (Godolfo?). The wine was pretty good. Little else to commend it. It was not crowded so conversation was easy but the steak and potatoes felt like they had been cooked earlier and then reheated. I guess there’s not much else in the neighborhood.
Hats off to the chef! Everything about our meal was fabulous and the service was on point.

The ambience in the dining room is very nice. The decoration is meant more for romance. The food itself was great. I had the rib-eye, side of green beans and polenta for the main meal. Everything was cooked to perfection. My wife and I started with the sampler platter, which is a must-try. Contains potato skins, prawns and chicken wings. The service was fast, friendly and helpful. Will definitely eat here again.
We had the steak and lobster tail. The steak was tender but the accompanying onion rings beneath the steak was soggy and not crunchy at all. The lobster tail was brownish in colour and not that tasty. The green beans and mashed potatoes were just okay. The complimentary thin bread sticks served were very tasty. The dessert consisted of a parfait container of vanilla ice cream with what tasted like frozen fruit which were not entirely thawed out.
Pamela is a wonderful hostess. Great food. Fun and lovely.
