Warm Charred Octopus Salad
cannelini beans, artichokes, marinated tomatoes, broccoli, sweet potatoes, fresh herbs
sweet peppers, celery, fennel, shallots, avocado, citrus marinade
Artichoke Heart Bruschetta
farm egg, shaved black perigord truffles, creamy parmigiano fonduta
Dinner was excellent from the first appetizer to the desert. High recommendations for everything.
The general manager was extremely rude and is ill suited to deal with the public. She has obviously never learned that the customer is always right. As great as the food is, a restaurant that fosters the extremely poor attitude exhibited by the general manager is not deserving of my hard earned money when there are so many other restaurants that bend over backward for the customers. It’s a shame because the food is great. No apology, no offer of a complimentary drink or dessert or even a simple I’m sorry that I was rude and thanks for spending $600 nonetheless. Wholly unacceptable in a high end service business. And ownership should strongly consider ridding itself of such a rude person.
The best restaurant in Miami.
The atmosphere and clientele of this place would lead you to believe that their food is exceptional. However it was really nothing to write home about. Overall, the vibe is rather stiff and unwelcoming. I’d rather go somewhere more comfortable and with better food.
Estuvo todo perfecto. Ya hemos comido aquí muchas veces
The waiter was very impatient, everything else was great , we will come back
Restaurant was busy but we were seated immediately. Shared a Bibb lettuce salad with pistachios and cranberries - very good and enough to share. For entrees we had the fettuccine with crabmeat which needed more flavor and certainly more crabmeat - and fiocchi di formaggio e pear which was excellent. Great flavor and truffle sauce. The warm chocolate budino dessert was also good although I would have liked more chocolate inside. The food and ambiance overall were good. The problem was our server who was very nice and meant well; however he was a phantom most of the night - disappeared, never checked to see how the food was or if we needed anything - after getting the menus and asking about drinks, we had to flag him back to take our order. We also had to ask for bread , the dessert menu (after he asked if we wanted to see it but never came back), and water refills. The same server checked on the people at the next table and gave them bread before us even though they were seated 10 minutes after us. Assuming better service and a slightly better crabmeat pasta, this could have been a 5 star experience.
How lucky am I ? I was in the area of MC Kitchen, looking for some good Italian food. I hit the jackpot! The decor was very elegant and the service was excellent. The food was just fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place,
Nice table, good food and excellent service.
The entire experience was pleasant; the food prices were unbelievable high and ultimately wasn't worth the spend. A pork chop for $58 dollars???
Attractive restaurant in the Design District. Excellent service and a nice menu.
MC Kitchen has been one of my favorite spots in Miami for some time now although we hadn’t been there for a while. Met some friends there for lunch last week and was overall disappointed. The truffle fries were great as usual but my lobster pasta special not so great and my wife’s halibut dish uninspired and over cooked. With the restaurant competition heating up all the time and especially in the Design District, no time to not put forth your “A” game, dangerous. Hope my experience isn’t the norm. Regards. Ned.
Disappointing. Not what it used to be. Unprofessional service. Restaurant was practically empty.
I highly recommend the farm egg pizza and the salmon bagel! Delicious!!
Very nice meal. I was pleasantly surprised with how good all of the items were ordered were. The Fig pizza is a must. Our pastas and dessert were great as well. Also enjoy that they are not out to get you with the parking at charging a reasonable $5.00 for valet. Service was good (not great) but otherwise it was a great meal and we will be back.
Lunch was great. However, I got an email from Open Table saying I was a mi show. I was there. Don’t know why I wasn’t recorded as being there.
Love the ambiance and the food was amazing. Which I could have tried the risotto but they were out of it.
Another close to perfect experience at MC, in a town with a plethora of Italian restaurants, MC always relieves first rate experiences
Great ambiance, some of the dishes we ordered were excellent, like the octopus and the hurrays, while another was ok, pasta with lump crab. Prices were high. Menu limited.
Great food and service
The food is always very good. The ambience is casual but very nice. Very good service also.
Great restaurant. You can have a conversation and the food is excellent. I recommend the chocolate dessert.
Simply the best
Always delicious and great service!
I was disappointed about the truffle fries and the truffle pizza as well. Expected more flavour.
Always amazing food and great service.
One suggestion: Don’t accept reservation for quarter of time. Today I had a reservation for 8:30pm and had to wait until 9:00 to seat.
It is a detail that must be taking in consideration.
We were disappointed In several aspects. Both of us have been here before. Bartenders were apathetic. Slow service. Veal chop was a great disappointment. Fatty and tasteless. Beef carpaccio needed more than a few slivers of Parmesan. Gala, the hostess, worked hard to give us a table we sought. Wine recommended by GM was quite good value. I doubt we will hurry back. Too many other choices.
Wonderful experience, food, service and atmosphere. Love this place!
Always spot on. Accommodating, pleasant service. Delicious food. Never ever disappoints.
Love this place. The octopus risotto was one of my favorite dishes ever, the Caesar salad was great, and the halibut and pear & cheese pasta dishes were wonderful too. Great ambience too so def hugely recommend this place
The food here is SO GOOD. It's a delicious marriage of modern Italian-American cuisine that cannot be missed. The ambiance is pleasant, the service is good, and the prices fair for the quality of food and experience received. Do recommend!
PS: Do not skip on the truffle fries and tatter tot waffle. Trust me.
Excellent yummy. We will be back! Was hard not to get dessert!
Last night, a Saturday at 9:00 pm, we arrived in group of 6 without reservation. The restaurant was packed but they managed to give us a beautiful table in a very short time.
That’s what I call great customer service.
The food was delicious as always, from the tuna carpaccio, the octopus, the french fries both regular and with truffle, the pizzetta...and the the pasta..strozzapreti, fiocchi and cavatelli made to perfection. Two of us got the chicken, and I was shocked how good it was.
Our waiter Sergio was great, and in the end they gave us 3 dessert for the tables. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant.
The young lady who manages the place is adorable, so nice of her to treat us with the desserts.
the acoustic and lighting are perfect, sophisticated yet comfortable ambience. A great spot for a Saturday night with friends.
Thanks a lot!
No vegetarian option. Menu never changes
I have been eating at MC Kitchen for many years and I just love this place: the food, the service and the ambience are superb.
Great food, great service!
They hammered the veal so disgusting they took it off the bill - used to love the restaurant- won’t go back
Have always loved it,especially prosciutto and fig pizza. However my husband had pork chop and asparagus side. Underwhelming.
