Maynard’s is locally owned and operated, and prides itself in giving back to the communities it serves. Known for the best views of Lake Minnetonka and the best waterfront dining in the state, Maynard’s is a place everyone can enjoy. Our American Casual menu is sure to suit even the most specific appetite, and our bar area is a great place to gather for the big game and enjoy our award winning happy hour.

Maynard’s is a place the locals can call home while still serving as a main tourist attraction of the Twin Cities Metro. We pride ourselves in a quality product at a fair price, but believe our consistent service and attention to detail (even amongst the big summertime crowds) sets us apart.

    We had the ahi tuna poke bowl and the vegan bowl. The tuna bowl had a large portion of tuna and it was very high quality. I tried the new vegan bowl with tofu. I liked it, also, but it wasn't as good as the old vegetarian/vegan bowl in my opinion. The sauce for the tofu was too spicy for me. I liked the manga salsa (mango, avocado and red pepper), but I also liked the old bowl that had much more avocado a little better. Our server was great. He was friendly, very positive, had excellent timing greeting us, taking our order and checking on us throughout the meal. When he thanked us for coming he was very sincere and he made us feel very welcomed.

    My wife and I enjoyed an early Friday dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. I enjoyed a castle danger cream ale on tap and my wife ordered her favorite white wine. We were impressed with the generous pour she was served. I ordered steak bites for the first time. She ordered the chicken stir fry - a long time favorite. She was served a very generous amount, i.e., the largest ever. She loved her entree and I was happy with mine as well. Friday’s are often busy and it was very busy yesterday. The noise level was unpleasantly high making conversation a challenge. We will be avoiding Friday dinners at Maynard’s in the spring, summer and fall. We were pleased to see the lot across the street now opened for parking at a cost of $2.00. 🤗
