   We had to wait 45 minutes despite having made a reservation. Every 15 minute interval I asked what was the hold up. By the time we were seated no one else was waiting to be seated. Our party of four wondered why we kept getting passed over. We were never rude or demanding. I realize Saturday nights are a busy time for the restaurant but there seemed no reason to make a reservation this night. We were nearly late for our theater seating at The Old Log.

   Our reservation was at 6:30. Didn't get seated until about 6:45 so had to stand around. Only complaint, otherwise, was great.

   Very nice experience. Courteous service. Well trained staff. Had side salad, baked potato, burger, and sundae. All were fresh, good presentation, and flavorful.

   Over the years we have enjoyed Maynards a lot. Our last visit was on St. Patrick's Day and there was no question that the crowd in the bar area made the whole restaurant quite loud (made us wonder why there was no glass wall divider between the bar area and dining area). The service was prompt and courteous as it always has been. The food was both excellent (cajun porkchop) but disappointing (stir fry chicken). Overall it was not one of our better visits there.

   St. Patrick’s Day corned beef dinner was off the mark. Meat was tender, but dried out and the cabbage was under cooked. I’m shocked. Will not get this special dinner again. Past years were much better. We will still come to eat every thing else on the menu.

   i had a bowl of he chicken wild rice that was not their best effort :( It was so salty i couldn't finish it and didn't feel well after it :( other than that everything else was above our expectations!

    Had a fun vibe! Be warned, happy hour is in the bar area only, which was crowded and not great for children in need of high-chairs.

    Took advantage of the 20% off sale. Walleye was as good as usual and baked potato was hot and tasty. Server was excellent, timely and efficient. Nice spot to spend a snowy night.

    We took advantage of a 20% off the food price special. We always enjoy the wonderful food served at Maynard’s and I appreciate being able to find Castle Danger Cream Ale on tap as well. My wife had a glass of white wine - a generous serving. I ordered the Asian Stir Fry and my wife ordered the Chicken Stir Fry. Both were excellent. The Chicken Stir Fry portion was especially generous and at $15 a great price. My wife could only eat half the portion. A very pleasant experience for sure.

    I have been there 2 times in the past few months. The food is very fresh, flavorful and generous portions (took left overs home). The pours of wine are generous and the cosmos were very good. We were a party of 4, for an appetizer, 4 meals, 8 drinks and 2 desserts, I thought the tab was very reasonable. The venue is a large open space, so at the busy times it does get a bit loud in there. Parking can be a bit tricky too with a smaller lot for how busy peak times are, but I have lucked out the past few times and found a spot in the lot (sometimes you need to find off street parking). Definitely one of my new favorite spots.

    I am on a restrictive diet and worry when I go out to eat, what my choices will be. I was so happy to see that Maynard’s offers a Keto section on their menu! Not only that, but it came out prepared like a lovely meal! I was so happy to feel like I got a real meal just like everyone else at the table and not just a slab of chicken breast. It looked amazing and tasted even better! I literally couldn’t stop talking about it because it made my dining out experience enjoyable, rather than just eating a boring, but healthy option. Thank you for offering this option!!!! FYI I had the skinny chicken with green beans and feta!

    We reserved our table on Open Table. No where did it say anything about Pond Hickey. It was way to nosy for us to talk to each other. Dodd and service were good but it was way to loud and the bathrooms had lines out the door. Would have been nice to know about this so we could have gone somewhere else.

    We had a reservation for six, plus a high chair, at a very busy time. They sat us promptly and in a great corner spot. It helped to be tucked in a bit because we had a one year old with us. The service was friendly, attentive (especially, again, how busy it was) and knowledgeable. I don’t recall our servers name, but he was great. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and dinner. The chocolate cake was MASSIVE and fed all six of us, with some left over. We were celebrating a birthday and Maynard’s help make it a perfect night.

    My grandson used open table to reserve a table for 4. We waited about 10 minutes after our appointed time, but we enjoyed our waitress, Lindsey, and the food came in about 15 minutes which was great! We like eating at your restaurant!!

    The hostess (Saige) was so sweet and kind right when we walked in the door she greeted us and welcomed us. She promptly seated us and gave us a very nice table for our dinner. Very professional.
