Poor service on our last visit, cup of water was not refilled the entire time we ate.

Food was good, lacked some of the veggies we had in the past for the same dishes. Ended up being about 1.75 meals for us with the amount of leftovers. We had two entree’s, a alcoholic beverage, and a starter for around $75 after tip.

To be honest I don’t like Thai food but the salad I had was amazing. And as always my wife loved her meal. We go every Valentine’s Day but now that I know there’s something I really like on the menu, we will definitely be dining there more often.

For the second time, we've had late reservations and both times, they were out of the spring roll appetizer. This is something I will always want to order, so its quite a disappointment. The rice didn't come out with the soup...which we wanted to put in the soup, and the larb was so spicy that I had to drink a lot of water. I've always liked Mays, but I'm not very happy lately.

We love Mays and have been going there from the beginning but this time was not as special. The fresh spring rolls were delicious as usual, but the main meal was not up to standard. The phad Thai was a mushy overcooked mess. We wanted to order phad kee mao but in the past year or so the spiciness level has been raised to the point where we knew our guest would not eat it. The last time we ordered it the heat level was very high for us and we like it a bit spicy. We ordered the phad metmamunanghimmapha but it was better in the past when there were also green beans in the dish. Now it's just onions and some cashews. We also ordered the phad normai farang goong. The dish was visually attractive and the sauce was tasty, but several asparagus end were very tough and should have been cut off. The whole shiitake mushrooms were also tough and unappealing.
Overall this was not the best experience for a premium Thai restaurant. Hopefully this was just an off night.

Went to May's with a group of my girlfriends on our visit to the Lodges on Vashon. Service was great but I was not impressed with the food. One friend ordered the pad thai and she said it was too sweet. I ordered the yellow curry and it was so salty that I could not eat it. I also wish they ask how spicy we want it like other thai places.

May never disappoints. Best place on Vashon to take out of town guests.

The service was lovely, this was our second time there and we were impressed with the service and food. We would love to return again when we are in Vashon. Highly recommend for authentic Thai food.

May's is the best Thai restaurant in the South Sound. The food is amazing as are the drinks. But it's the ambience that really makes it. It's got a cool vibe. It is worth a trip to Vashon Island.

Very nice atmosphere and decor. Menu provides many different gourmet choices. Best to make reservation as can get crowded.

We traveled to Vashon for my husband's birthday. We heard a lot about this place so figured it was the perfect place to celebrate. The food was great and everyone was incredibly friendly. Our server was particularly attentive and gave my husband dessert on the house. Don't feel like you always find this type of genuinely friendly service these days, so it was refreshing and awesome to find. Cocktails were creative and small plates were our favorite.
