    I’ve been going to Maxwells since they opened. For both special occasions and just because they have the best food and service in town . But this time was a hole lot different the service was short the food was past over cooked. The sever did not close the deal I had to go and look for some one to pay. I hope this was a fluke and not the new normal.

    The lobster fettuccine was INCREDIBLE! Staff was so kind and attentive. Food came fast. Great quality without feeling like you’re looked down upon in any way. Makes me happy and I love to celebrate my birthday here!

    Love our times spent here - from our familiar and extremely charming Host, the accommodating and stellar wait-staff, and to the absolute decadence of the food/wine/cocktail options ... really all I can say is WOW!

    We like to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries at Maxwell's. From the friendly greeting to the expansive wine selection and the delicious entrees, we always leave happy. If we lived closer, we would likely eat here more often! We're never disappointed!!!

    Our very first in the door was a great experience. Our server was down to earth and professional Which was very nice. He acknowledged my wife’s birthday and our anniversary. We are both very satisfied with the experience.

    The lump crab cakes were amazing. We dined on the Smoked linguine with mussels and clams and the black angus tenderloin both of which were cooked to perfection and delicious! Our server was very attentive and personable as well! Will definitely be back!

    What an absolute gem to find in Fargo! Great seasonal menu. Creative blend of familiar offerings but much more chef forward and the plating was on point. Great value for you upscale dining experience. A great place for an anniversary or something special dinner.

    All employee interactions were great, from greeting to departure. Our server Sam was attentive and very professional-provided great suggestions, demonstrating thorough knowledge of wines offered. Celebrating our anniversary, we were treated to a wonderful complimentary dessert, complete with a candle. This is our go-to in the Fargo area for a guaranteed upscale dining experience.

    3rd time going here. I’ve been disappointed with their entrees each time. The scallops are always wonderful and most of their appetizers have been great. We had reservations, it took us 45 min to get our appetizer and over an hour and 20 mins after sitting down to get our entree. We got drinks right away but the food took quite a while, it was a Tuesday and the tables weren’t full. My husband had the lamb and it was flavorful. The salmon special had too many flavors going on. Wouldn’t recommend.

    The service was fantastic from the second we stepped foot inside to when we left. Wine selection is fabulous and much more extensive than what appears online. Food was amazing and the waitress even surprised us with dessert for our anniversary. If I had to change one thing it would be to broaden their “per glass” wine selection.
