Very good food! I absolutely devoured the arugula poached pear salad (and I'm not a big salad eater). The scallops were amazing as was the lamb rack. If you like creme brulee that was great too!

The food was meh and definitely overpriced for the quality. The hostess and the check in process is definitely the weakest part of their game. If it hadn’t been for amazing service elsewhere in the restaurant, I would have rated much lower.

Maxwells is the best fine dining restaurant in the Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo area. The food is spectacular and the staff is always on point. It’s always my choice for that special evening and the experience always leaves me wanting to come back for more.

The server wanted nothing to do with us after we only ordered entrees. Our server was very attentive in the beginning, but once my husband and I only ordered entrees she completely stopped coming to the table, and wanted nothing to do with us.

Food and service are outstanding! It was very busy because it was an event evening so even with a reservation you should prepare to wait a little bit but the drinks are nice while you are waiting. Pricing wise be prepared to pay for the experience but you won’t be sorry you did. We always go all out and order everything when they offer the special menus and recommend this.

We were a few minutes early but were immediately seated. Jared, our server was wonderfully attentive and so knowledgeable on the menu. The food was outstanding, from appetizers through dessert. My husband and his brother celebrated their birthday and were delighted by the delicious meal and special treat for dessert. Thank you so much for making their night memorable.

We were there for our 25th anniversary, my wife had the Sea Bass, which was the special, and I had the Beef Tenderloin, melt in your mouth!! Then we split the Lava Cake, very good!

For me this restaurant is, by far, the best in Fargo. It would rank between the bests restaurants even in a big cosmopolitan metropoli. The food is delicious, sofisticated, giving refreshing options away from the eternal classics. The wine choice is outstanding, the attention top notch, the ambience warm.
