Great! Not a busy time of day. Easy to reserve a table. No wait time. Not being rushed. Good food!
Everything was great!
Food is tasty which is why I keep coming back to Max Brenner. However, if you are on the lower level it is very noisy.
Food and drinks are excellent. Desserts make it an unforgettable experience. Miss the Sunday mood pasta though. Always choose this place for all our special occasions! Love it! 😁
The food was good. The desserts were cool. The service was terrible. My waiter did not attend to us the way he should have. I was there for a birthday and he did not seem to care. No one sang happy birthday, but I did see other waiters and waitress singing happy birthday to others. My utensils were dirty so I had to use plastic. After the dinner, i did not feel he deserved a 20% tip or more. I was still charged 20% gratuity on my card, and I had tipped cash. I had to contact my bank so I can get the right amount charged because the balance that was charge did not match the receipt.
Thus far each experience has been great. The service and quality of cuisine served.
I strayed from my usual od cheesesteak on a waffle and was not disappointed.
Everything was good
I tried to change my reservation the night before from three people to four and couldn’t. I was then seated at a table with an extra chair where my forth person could’ve sat :/ burgers are amazing. Sharing fondue plater as well. Totally recommend for casual dining.
The hostess with the short curly hair was very rude. They don’t respect Open Table reservations, and she basically told me off for daring to ask her if a table was available when we made it exactly on time for our reservation. I was instructed in the rudest way to wait until she called my name when a table was free because, according to her, they cannot guarantee the availability of tables even with a reservation. Once seated, I spoke with the manager who quickly apologized and moved on (he probably has to do this a lot). The only good thing about the experience was our waitress who was very sweet and professional. Food was average and the dessert we ordered was mediocre this time. Very dirty bathroom, too. Will cross this place off our casual dining list.
Seating can be cramped depending on where you're seated, personally had to ask to move tables because of how cramped it was but overall it was great.
It’s fine. My kids love this place. For adults, it’s interesting to try it once
Good food good concept good service. Great desserts!
Confusion over seating was annoying especially since we were looking to just order food. Service was ok not attentive. Food was mediocre. Even dessert was just ok. Won’t come back again.
The perfect anniversary restaurant. It’s loud and bustling, but has great food and even better desserts! I wanted to try one of everything. Go with someone you’re not afraid to pig out with!
It was my first time going to Max Brenner’s and I was quite pleased. If I could fix anything it would be how the restaurant is presented. Online and also when you pass by the place you assume it’s strictly desserts. But once you sit down and order it felt more like a normal restaurant. Also, the staff should make a better effort in telling us about the delicious desserts. I didn’t have a clue what some of the choices looked like, so I picked something that sounded good.
It was a nice experience. The flavoring for the drinks and food was a little off- the spicy primavera was a little too spicy and the peach vodka was a little too strong. However the classic fondue was amazing and I would definitely get that again! Would definitely come here again!
Very nice place to meet friend, food and service was very good. Definitely is a keeper.
The hot chocolate was amazing. Ambiance, service, etc were ok. I didn't try any food. Enjoy!
Everything was very good. The only regret is that I felt like the chocolate fondue was not enough, but that is probably because we split it three ways and it is probably meant to be shared with a couple. The entrees are all amahzing (REAL baguettes!) but don't forget to save room for dessert! Waitress was very nice and patient.
Pizza was cold along with the crepe I got. The waiter never came around, waited 20 mins to even be acknowledged to order, and each plate my two friends and I ordered came out 20 mins after each other.
The bathrooms were very very dirty. And we were squished between two other tables.
Great food. Will definitely return
Everything was great except the food was a little cold
Great coffee drinks! Not too crowded, delicious eggs!
Very good. Always a favorite. Your out of town friends will love it.
Went for my daughter's birthday and we had a wondeful time. Everyone was friendly and the food was amazing.
The chocolate is what you’re really going for. The food is delicious but unremarkable. We went for a birthday and nobody sang happy birthday. This is a minor complaint but overall the experience was underwhelming. Disappointed to find out when we got there that lunch is after 4pm, as this really limited our food options. This should really be advertised better.
Fun place for the kids/teens but get ready to sit very close to your neighbor. It’s a bit tight
We went here at 10pm on a Friday night, food and drinks came out quickly even though the place was quite crowded. The service was good and we totally enjoyed all the food. Very noise, not great for quite conversation but the hot chocolate was totally worth going for. Next time I'm skipping dinner and going right to the amazing desserts.
This was my first time here, I made an online reservation for 2. However, we weren’t seated until 25 min after our reservation because the person in charge of checking in failed to actually check us in....other then that, we had a blast here! Great food and dessert.
Too noisy. Our order took 45 minutes to come. One dish was stone cold when it arrived. Waitress did not really handle this well.
Love this place and the food is great. Really a place for people that love sweets.
Bad service, bad value, very dirty place and rude staff
Food was fairly tasty, but the service was poor- order did not come out correctly neither entrée nor dessert and the waitress didn't come around for refills/ bring the check etc. My kids enjoyed it and ultimately we left happy.
This wasn’t my first time at Max B! But today the servers staff killed the vibe. It’s like everyone works with blinkers in their eyes: if it’s not their section/tables they don’t even ask or show hospitality to customers. My food came before drinks and not even silverware on the table. I ordered a hot spicy chocolate and it was already cold for all the time waiting to be taken to the table :/. It’s busy season, servers must be ready to work busy shifts.
Great experience overall, but I’ve had better chocolate. A good picture worthy location.
We had a nice bite to eat at Max Brenner’s, but were expecting more after researching on their website. The restaurant was a bit ‘tired’ and needs some money spent on it to match the menu. The waitresses all looked grumpy and fed up. However the menu was great and the chocolate pizza, crepe and milkshake we had were delicious.
Would have been better if the restrooms were clean. Made me wonder just how clean the whole restaurant is
Loved it! Food was amazing and the decor and appearance is beautiful inside. The service was good. Great place to eat at during the winter season. Only thing I did not like was the bathrooms were dirty.
